This review is on the Classic Army CA36K. I will discuss the pros and cons of the weapon, and my experiences with it.
Outward Looks: 8
This gun blows the TM out of the water on the outward appearance. The gun is made with the same material as the real G36, where as the TM is made with ABS plastic. The CA36K has the CA trademarks where the real world counterparts would be. If your lucky, the TMs come with the real trades, but normally they are dremeled off, so I would prefer the CA trades. The gun has great balance, the built in scope in the carry handle is clear and very closely simulates the real export sight of it's real world counterpart.. Also on the carry handle, is molded BUIS system. Having handled a real G36, I must say that the weight is close, coming in at about 6-7 pounds. The rear stock folds the right and locks down like the real one, allowing the weapon to be used better in a CQB environment. The weapon came with the see through high cap mag which has the connectors for attaching additional mags like the real ones. The K forward grip has the side and bottom mounting plates to affix picitanny rail attachments to the gun.

Reliability: 8.5
Straight out, the most reliable gun I have owned to date. I have never had a jam, double feed, or mechbox issue. The only problem I had with the gun, and it is a normal problem, is the electrical connectors for the selector switch needed to be pulled back into position. This problem prevented me from firing in semi auto. That issue was easily fixed by removing the lower receiver of the gun and gently pulling out the tabs with a small straight blade screw driver. Another common issue with the gun the selector switched come loose from time to time, but that is fixed with a small hex key.
One plus to the gun is that it come from the factory with 7mm metal bushings, allowing the gun to use a 9.6V battery from the start, and reducing costs on upgrades. After 220K bbs my CA36K finally died. My Cutoff bar finally wore down and needed to be replaced. During that time the only real upgrades done to the gun was a Madbull Black Python tight bore, and a Madbull Sharkbone bucking after my CA rubber died (approx 100K Bbs). Given that the AEG uses a V3 gearbox, parts are east to acquire.
