Accuracy and Range: 6

The gun is reasonable accurate. I can easily hit a man sized target with .20s at 100 feet. The hop up works well, and is very easy to adjust as compared to the M16/M4's hop up. The hop up is accessible by pulling the ambidextrous charging handle on top of the receiver. The factory bucking is a good, I am able to adjust it very close to my sights. Unfortunately, the cold weather at a private event I was at while back caused the bucking to crack. But even with cracked bucking, I can still get good range and accuracy out of the gun. I replaced it with he Madbull Sharkbone bucking, and am now able to get 130-150 feet with great accuracy on a man sized target.

Rate of Fire: 5

ROF on this gun is average depending on what battery you use. I started using an 8.4v 1200mah mini on this gun, and the ROF was average, I estimate 18-20 BBs a second. O got a 9.6v 1200 Mah and the ROF was around 25+ BBs a second.

FPS out of the Box: 6

The gun chrono'd at 338fps the first time I shot it.  Classic Army tents to have their stock guns shooting at 330fps. Even after 2 years of play, the gun was still chronoing at 320 consistantly.

avatar A good review. Nicely illustrated, and gives just enough information. Only a
few things that could use some polishing:

1) "I have never had a jam,
double feed, or mechbox issue." How long have you had the gun, or how many
rounds have you put through it?

2) "Man-size target" A better test
of accuracy is to record the approximate diameter of bb groupings at a few set
distances. Any gun can hit a man-size target at a distance, but that doesn't
compare different accuracies amongst different guns.

That aside, I have to
agree with everything you said; I have a CA36[e], and have found it as
customizable as an M4; I love this gun. The K is the most balanced length, as
it is the middle ground between accuracy and length, i.e. between the E and C
lengths of G36.

Good review, just needs some polishing.

I own this gun, and I have to say it was worth every penny. I put a Bipod and a
vertical grip.

do you own the CA36 it is very accurate and is great for open areas and a good
sniper if you get a new scope and the bipod.
also has any one else had
problems with star 140 mags the bb's get stuck about half-way in the mag any one
know how to fix that.

bolt catch, and ROF. This gun i just recently aquired and by the looks of it,

I own a CA36K and it is a powerful, reliable and relatively accurate gun. But it
won't fire in semi automatic or fully automatic and i have to manually pull back
the mechanism to allow another BB to slide into position (which causes it to be
comforted by even more BBs, risking a jam). I would love to know any info on
what is causing it or how t fix it if anyone out there knows so.

Cheers
all!
