"Final review for the M16A3

I have had this hun for several years now and it has seems some immense use and I have to say, it is a great gun if you are willing to work on it here and there. Some pros:

- Realistic function
- Easy maintenance
- Simple Blowback system

Except for one thing cons aren’t really there except for the fact that parts wear off internally over time. Depending of course what you do to the gun as well. The one big con is O-ring on the end of the nozzle as it wears easily and one has to find specific oils or lubes that work with it or else it soaks up and causes jams or failure to load. Using Teflon spray helps though and mitigates the issue very well.
And a small sub-con is the hopup. Not pleasant to adjust and it requires a special tool to do so. A wire with an Allen key attached works best.

I switched over to HPA and bought a conversion kit as well, making this gun all the better as well as a new barrel to add some precision as its role is now a DMR.

For anyone feeling the need for realism and maybe willing to tinker here and there on a simple system, this gun is for you.

"I only bought this rifle to convert it into an M16A1 since We-Tech's M16A1 is out of stock and hasn't been restocked in a while. I bought a We-Tech M16A1 receiver and intended to "downgrade" it. Before I did so I loaded up some gas in the mag and put it through its paces to make sure the rifle was good, and was extremely good! Rifle is sharp as a knife and the action is smooth cream gravy. The thing kicks like a mule, but that's the best part if you want the old school Vietnam feel. The only con is that a few of the fittings are a bit stiff, but nothing that a bit of lubricant can't fix. Extremely high quality that I'm used to from We-Tech's GBB rifles.

"I really must say, this gun really outdoes everything else I have. A beautiful piece of engineering! I recommend this gun to anyone who likes a typical American rifle! Although it isn't the most authentic piece out there, it still serves its purpose! I will definitely come back for more!
