" It’s a pretty good angle for grip, especially if you want something. That’s not too large however, there are gonna be some difficulties putting it on your gun.
Some of my aluminum rails on some of my airsoft rifles don’t seem to be the same size and the one I was going to put it on was slightly smaller so I decided to add some black electrical tape and then use a butter knife to wedge it in between Where it hooks onto your Pettini rail, one on each side and that was enough to make it only slightly wobbly. If I added another layer, it wouldn’t wobble at all.
It’s completely hollow inside and has a couple supports in it to keep it rigid however I might modify it and cut a hole so I can wrap my thumb around it, but I haven’t decided how I’m going to fill-in the hole since the forgrip is hollow. For the limited number of options available for angled for grips on this website I would say it’s a good option for people with hands that are not too large and someone who’s on a budget. If you need to be larger what you can do is you can get some leather, and cut out a square, drill some holes, Wrap it around the front of the forgrip and screw it into the four grip Using the front three screws, it should add a couple millimeters of thickness and also make it slightly more comfortable and you can glue it on to make it stick even better. Just make sure you rough up the surface with some sandpaper first.
" This DOES fit on the Umarex/KWA MP7 **WITH MODIFICATION**
It will fit on the gun without modification, but you cannot put the grip pin through the hole.
I spent a few minutes grinding both halves of the grip down with a Dremel tool (because the two halves don't quite meet around the KWA folding foregrip hinge), removing less than 1/16th of an inch total, and drilled out the hole through both halves and the original handle hole slightly larger. Additionally, I ground a little more room on the C-clip indentation side to get that on there, and now it all fits perfectly.
The grip itself is well designed and feels solid after I got the fit right. It is indeed made out of a very light plastic, so it does feel a bit cheap. It hardly adds any weight however, so as long as it ends up being durable it won't be a con. There are brass inserts for the screws, which is a nice touch.
It is a bit overpriced at $60, but it's at least not MAP protected, so you end up a bit cheaper out the door. Considering that this is one of the only options to replace the folding stock foregrip, they can still ask for that price. I've seen the bolt on rail, but that requires you to permanently modify the gun by chopping the stock handle hinge off (my modifications still allow the stock handle to work). Plus, then you have to buy the rail AND a grip, so this ends up being cheaper.
Overall, I am satisfied, but I wish it could've been at least $10 cheaper before the discount. I'd like to see someone else come in and produce a different grip that fits well for less, just to give some competition at a lower price.
TL:DR- Can fit the Umarex/KWA MP7 with slight modification, overpriced but worth it with discount, assuming it doesn't break. Feels good to handle.
" Oh boy. You know you love your MP7 when you're willing to spend this much on an accessory. Ok, I'm not gonna sugar coat this. This is NOT worth the money....at all. I know Laylax is respected as one of the "good ol companies" from Japan but there are MUCH better options than their overpriced accessories. First of all the plastic used feels very cheap but at the same time I don't feel it will break easily. It is very lightweight however which is a big plus. Second, if you own a KWA MP7 this will, sorta fit. I was able to get it attached to my KWA but the pin that attaches the vertical foregrip cannot be reattached which is supposed to hold the angled grip firmly in place. As a result you have to rely on the screws that hold the two halves together and even then you can't fully bring them together. What you're left with is the grip sort of attached. I know this sounds bad but it does hold it firm enough to use and really you shouldn't be putting much stress on it at all. If you are attaching it to anything else it feels solid. As far as comfort goes I wouldn't say it feels great as the grip is a bit small and thin and doesn't really allow you to get a full hand on it. You would be much better off going with the Stark Equipment or Magpul angled foregrip.
Pros:
Unique, not like other grips
Made specifically for the Marui MP7 so it fits the look of the gun well
Can work with the KWA with a little force
Lightweight
Can be bought with a coupon code
Cons:
WAY TOO EXPENSIVE (you're paying for shipping and the brand name)
Feels very cheap
Is too small and thin to be really comfortable on much
