"I loved how durable the fat mag is but as it perks come by as its flaws too... I've spent hours just fully testing and it was remarkable for quick I can reload before finishing a round and ive accidentally dropped it on the ground swapping mags and not a dent or scratch but after continuous swapping the little triangle plastic bit that keeps the bb in the mag and it just throws me off cause I expected that part to be metal...

"Bought this on a whim, so far it has feed reliably.
Only one issue, it's a very tight fit in say a KWA M16, so much so, filing or sanding down a little of the outside of the mag is probably a thing to look into. Can't speak for other brands.

"I purchased the fat flash mag in order to see how reliably they fed in an assortment of my aegs, pending possible future purchases of these mags. They would not fit my vfc/echo 1 xcr's magwell. I could likely just sand down the upper section of the magazine a bit. It fit and fed my APS Christmas Special aeg well, likely due to the flared magwell design giving it a bit more wiggle room. Most importantly, it fit and fed well in my A&K m249. These mags would be a solid purchase for anyone running an m249 or similar lmg that feeds from a STANAG magwell (m16,l86, g36 w/magwell, etc. Just be aware of magwells with tight tolerances such as g&p, vfc, etc. The cord for this box mag is a bit stiffer than the lonex flash mag one, and the door on the bottem seems prone to snapping off. Will still likely purchase 3 or 4 more in order to supplement my lmg loadout for long/multi day events or if my box mag takes an a&k style dump.
Overall, would recommend purchasing multiple of these before they disappear.

"Amazing mag!!! The only problem I had was it was a little loose in my Javelin M4, but then again all of the M4 mags I have are. The simple fix was two layers of electrical tape about 2 inches below the top. The mag feeds well and holds plenty of ammo. Perfect for the squad support gunner and a must have! I would give it 4 1/2 stars if I could and only because it's not 100% compatible with all guns.

"The Echo1 850rd FAT Magazine for M4 / M16 Series Airsoft AEGs is an excellent magazine. It winds and loads up like any other high cap and fits perfectly in any M4 M16/ SCAR/ L85. Excellent feeding and great for when you need to give suppressing fire. Light weight to carry around and fits into any M4 pouch on a vest. Definitely works better than any drum mag I've ever used out in the field and has saved my squad more than once in situations where all hope was lost. The only problem is its weight when inside my gun. The weight from all the BBs can pull down on the mag causing the it to misfeed or fail to deliver BBs to the gun entirely, but this can be fixed easily via using electrical tape or pushing the mag into the gun while holding it. Overall, a great mag to carry with you and definitely worth the investment.
