"This is an awesome gun, it's well balanced and feels good in your hands. Yes, like others have said the scope is very tedious to sight. 9.6 NiMH don't fit they are to long you'll have to get a 8.4 or a lipo, your choice. Other than those small things, the range is great for CQC to mid range. The barrel and scope is full metal so that's a plus. So if you love the format of AUG's this is a great model to get. Thanks evike

"Absolutely love this gun!! I utterly destroy my opposition when I go airsofting, Its a great med-range AEG, and whenever I pull it out people just flock to it, wanting to hold it. I was quite surprised to see so many people jealous of my AUG, Would differently buy this gun if your looking for something to buy. Would recommend buying extra mags, b/c you'll run out of BBs fast with this gun, also the mag that it came with broke (magazine spring coil broke) so having extras wouldn't hurt.

"This gun is awesome! The grip is a little bit wobbly but still works. It comes with some iron sights so ur not blind and dont have a scope. Everything else is awesome. Thanks Evike!!!

"I've had this gun for almost 8 months now and I have to say it's been pretty good. Like this reviewer before me said, the outer barrel came off for me too. This is an easy fix. A little hot glue will fix it right up. It shoots around 345 so it's perfect for CQB or, if you wanted to, you could pop the gear box out in about 30 seconds so changing the spring for outdoor skirmishes is absolutely possible. The fore grip is wobbly so I removed it and hold it like it's an AFG. Overall, its a great gun. Highly recommended.

"i got this gun today and I LOVE IT soon has i got i charged the battery for a hour and then went outside to shoot it. it had 350fps right out of the box then i put my 9.6v 2300mah battery in it and it handled really good and shot very accurate. Its a good outside gun for me. i rate it 5 stars. but one bad thing is my charger did not work when i got it today so i had to use my smart charger.

"Great gun with very good rate of fire. I suggest running it with the Matrix 9.6V 2300mah battery pack and this gun will perform perfectly with accuracy, rate of fire and power.
I always love the AUG and you'll be spoiled by the bullpup design after using it. One hand operate, super long barrel (more range and better accuracy) will spoil you to never want to use another platform of rifles.

"READ BEFORE BUYING THIS HAS IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This aug a2 by asg is honestly pretty good. It offers features you dont see in most other guns (hordes of m4s). First off with the 169$ price tag you get a 2 stage trigger. It is weird at first but the tactical advantage of not having to move your fire selector is something overlooked in gun design . Also the bullpup design and full metal build ( excluding the polymer shell ) is very handy for a more compact weapon and sturdy ,yet well weighted build assembly . Next is the fps . First off this gun comes with( and all other asg augs ) a 310-320 fps at the chrono , this IS NOT what is advertised and should be kept in mind however it keeps a very tight consitency only moving 5-10 fps over or under . Next is what comes in the box which is the gun , magazine , and although it isnt advertised a 7.4 1400mah battery and cheap charger ( keep in mind anything over a 1400 will not work due to the extra battery cell which will make your battery not fit in the small rear compartment )manual , cleaning rod , and a small bag of bbs . The gun has 14mm threads under the orange flash hider . Fire rate with the original battery is around 15rps.thats about it for the good lets talk about its downfalls . First off feeding issues , its not terrible but its defenitely a problem .The first few shots ,and the last few dont feed . The safey will jump off the gun and is extremely difficult to repair none the less fix the problem . The same is to say for the reciever removal button . Also the dated weaver rail only allows a small portion of optics and accessories to be added . And i cant get over the terrible battery space , which only allows 7 cell batteries and even those barely fit , this problem really hurts moving further up in upgrades . And the fact that its asg is kinda sketchy cause they dont put time into qaulity and performance . The 169$ dollar price tag on this 125$ gun is honestly a bit sad . However it makes up for a little bit of it .

"Nice!
This is my first airsoft gun. Out of the box it had some feeding issues. Upon inspection I found a little rubber flap the stops bbs from entering the firing mechanism. From my own findings, the gun only fires when there are a lot of bbs loaded. It won't fire if there's about 5-7 shots left. Then you need to crank the mag.
Over all the gun has some pretty good quality. Great plastic and metal and feels durable.

"Gun comes in a blue box showing your gun in model, upon opening it comes with a batter and the gun, the gun is made if some stiff polymer and metal, both could be higher quality but is one if the best aug (besides ghk) this gun has a normal aug gearbox, an ok gearbox and a very, very sloppy trigger. (Just look up an aug trigger) besides that its an ok gun. Ive had some feeding problems with asg midcaps. I wish the pins where a but more stable, my body has also started to split after 3 months if play.

"About what you'd expect for an aug
- Mine appeared to be OEM'd by JG
- Eye relief on scope is ~2 inches, clarity of optic is good but it's a bit reflective, uses a circle reticle
- Front of outer barrel held in by grub screw under vert grip. There's no wobble on the barrel with the grub screw in all the way, but I still epoxied it in for stability
- Two stage trigger uses a pin detent/spring to "separate" the semi from full auto, but the actuation force felt a bit high so I just removed it
- There was a tiny amount (~1mm) of forward movement between upper and lower receiver, I fixed this using epoxy to fill the space both at the front and the back where the takedown pin holds in the upper
- Safety crossbolt moved a bit easily, this can be mostly fixed by deepening the grooves in the crossbolt
- Vert grip is a bit wobbly
- Battery compartment will fit 8.4V NiMH and 2200mAh 7.4 LiPo batteries along with a Gate WARFET
- Has a quick-change spring guide (non ball-bearing)
- Theres a hole towards the top of the backplate which allows you to change springs without removing the plate
- Due to shape of quick-change spring guide, replacement pistons have to be slightly cut on the sides of the back for clearance (not as jank as it sounds)
- If you order this, you may want to purchase another spring, mine was shooting ~265fps on .25g bbs (not poor air seal, spring is just weak)
- Stock piston has a single metal tooth at the end (I replaced with a full metal rack piston)
- Gearbox also has a 1/2 cylinder (I replaced with an unported cylinder)
- Shot ~11-12 rps on included 8.4V NiMH

"Great gun so far! It runs really well came with a battery and a small bag of bbs, a little on the heavier side but completely manageable. No issues with the semi to full auto so far cycling great. Chrono out of the box around 330 FPS the sight is a little angled off but can be an easy fix I’m sure. Would’ve loved to have the proline rails but it’s whatever I can buy some and put them on my self for cheap. It’s a good aug
