"This was the first airsoft gun that I bought, after a 3 year absence from the game. Tremendously impressed with this gun!!! I've been using it for about a month now, and it works great. With .25g's and a 7.4 lipo I can easily hit over 75 ft, with consistent 390 fps, and it's pretty lightweight. The spring de-compression system is SO cool, because I never have to worry about shooting my gun on semi every time I get finished. I only have a few minor complaints: 1. The first time I used the gun, a screw fell out of the bottom of the motor grip mid game. I had to go buy better screws, or the gun wouldn't work anymore. 2. Battery slot in the hand guard was hard to open at first. 3. Doesn't give the option for an RIS system. 4. It's kinda loud. 5. The length of the gun can sometimes hurt you when you're closer up, but that's sort of a negative for ranged guns.

PROS:
FPS
Range
De-compression system
Hop up slide stays open

CONS:
Cheap motor grip scres
Hard to open hand guard
No RIS
Loud
Length of gun

This gun is amazing, for the listed price. If I could describe this gun to a customer I would say this is an incredibly high quality noob gun, or a lower quality pro gun.

"I think for the price this gun is pretty good. It's mostly metal besides the stock and the main body which are made of strong plastic. The stock is a little loose but I believe that's normal for an adjustable stock. The batteries that come with it are pretty darn good and they go into the back of the crane stock. The parts on the gun are easy to figure out and come off easily. The hi-cap mag that comes with it has a nice metal case; but like all hi-caps you have to wind it up after a couple dozen shots. I think one of the best parts is the working charging handle that opens up the dust cover(way cool for anyone that wants realism).

The iron sights are kinda bad; they aren't the standard M4 style sights but that doesn't really matter. The close range sight is loose on mine and the precision bit is hard to see through in general(not sure if that's normal)

Overall I'd give it a 4/5 for a good budget starter gun that isn't mediocre. There are more pros than cons so I'd say buy it

Pros:
Cheap
Easy to handle
Lots of strong metal parts
Good FPS

"Ive had this gun for a couple of years now, and let me say, it is and excellent beginner to intermediate gun.
Pros:
metal ris
light
high quality plastic
shoots fast and hard with a 9.6v battery
accurate
no wobble
Cons:
ris was a litte off center with the receiver (very easy fix, just unscrew the rails and adjust it)
small battery compartment (I added a crane stock to fix the problem)
i didnt like the sights (personal preference, so I added magpul sights)
LOUD
the barrel is only as long as the ris (its just an extension)
bad selector plate. Shoots full auto on semi and you can pull the trigger on safe
the rails are SHARP! (I just put electrical tape over half of them)

"I have had this gun for almost a year now and it is a great gun. I wish it had a full metal body or a omega-x rail just like the real steel, but that's not to big of a problem. Im working turning it into a dmr with a 450 mm 6.03 inner barrel, a full cylinder, a shock abosorbing mushroom piston head.
pros
good fps, It chronoed at 389 fps
fairly accurate
nice metal ris
awesome trade marks
fair decent rof about 15-18 bps on a 9.6v battery
internals are pretty solid
cons
The aoe was way off and my piston had fair bad wear on it after about a year CORRECT YOUR AOE
The motor is incredibly loud and obnoxious
The gears need to be shimmed
The battery that it came with isn't the best, I would recommend a 9.6v
consider re-greasing it

Overall I would recommend the gun to anyone planning on working on and upgrading an m4 style rifle internally its not bad at all, it just needs a tiny bit of work done to have it run at its full potential.

"I have had this gun for about a year and it is a very good gun in a lot of respects, but there are a few flaws. Some may be my opinion but here they are...
Pros:
Good hefty weight
SUPER accurate
Hard fps, good for backyard play but not for fields
Metal where it needs it
No barrel wobble
metal rails
functioning charging handle
adjustable hop up

Cons:
rails arent very study or secure
plastic body, though lighter than metal, turns from gun grey to pukeish green
and a few minor details that dont really matter

overal this is a good gun if you arent looking for something too specific. i would recommend it to a friend

"This is a great gun for a new or vet player , I have had this gun for 4 years now and has never let me down . Good FPS and is great mid range engagements . But the butt stock isnt my favorite . I suggest if you want it to be really nice buy a 9.6 2300 MAH battery , a full buttstock and a tightbore berral .

"I just received this gun in the mail yesterday and I've owned a lot of AEGs, I've been collecting for about 6 years and I have to say that for the price this is own of the best airsoft guns I've owned. 7mm reinforced gearbox, steel ball bearings(great for li-po), ported piston head, ball bearing spring guide, and a rps to die for when you install a crane stock li-po. this is by far one of the best guns for the money. Completely metal exterior besides crane stock and pistol grip obviously, the rail has no wobble, it's just a great gun definitely recommend to ANYONE playing close quarters battle(CQB). My one and only problem with this gun is that the hop-up doesn't sit right at first, this messed with the seal and wasn't shooting bb's. opened it up pulled it out a little bit, sat perfectly after that. I put and EGLM and an aimpoint scope on mine great platform for it too.

"I have had this gun for about a year now and have had no problems with it! The first thing I did to this gun was upgrade to a large type battery. When I did this the battery wouldnt fit in the stock so I drilled a hole in the side of the stock and fed the plug through it. After that I put a madbull battery pouch on the side and thats where my battery chills now. This gave my gun a nice ROF. The first time I chronographed it shot 420-425 FPS. Now that its broken in it shoots 410-415 FPS.

PROS:
Good ROF
Good FPS
Nice Sights (Flip Up)
Reliable
Fully Upgradebly
Rails Everywhere!
Sturdy

CONS:
Rails Are Sharp!
The front sight does not line up with the rear, this makes it less acurate. (the whole rail system does not line up either which means that if you put a fore grip in the bottom its a lttle side ways)
For the price i thought it should have had a little more metal on the gun.
The stock is a little wobbly
The orange tip is a pian to take off.

Overall its a good gun and i would give it a 4 out of 5.

"this is a good gun, the first thing you'll notice is it's VERY heavy, heavier than most bigger guns I've held before. It's VERY sturdy.
The problems I had with this gun was first of all, the crane stock. It's a nice stock, but the battery cap on the back broke off. the same thing happen with a friend of mine who has the same gun. Also, the dust cover clip broke on mine, but that was because my friend closed it wrong. DO NOT close the dust cover before you close the hop-up chamber.
Another big thing is the battery. It's really wierd, and I definately recommend getting a better one.
The guns shoots well, it sounds kind of springy though, when compared with better guns. I like how it has a metal tip instead of a plastic one.
the rails are all metal, so are the sights, trigger, mag release. the hand grips are nice.
other than that, no complaints. This is definatly a good beginner gun, so if your new with airsoft, this is an AWESOME GUN. great price.
it kicks butt, but not even in the same league as KWA or even classic army. If your friends all have KWA guns, this thing won't stand a chance.

"Great rate of fire for the money! Watch out where you are running with this weapon, if you drop it or fall on it, you will break something. Feels really strongly built, but the upper receiver mounting lug on mine is now 3600psi epoxy after breaking it three times. Just for S&G, you can beat on doors and walls with the Zombie Masher compensator. I have and it's still sharp!

"this is a good gun and along with the other review it is loud and my mags do need to be pushed in or else they will fall out. but with mine after a bout 2 hours into a match it stopped shooting and i didnt figure out why until i was cleaning it later that i had blown the fuse so all in all this is a good gun very cool but dont use .20s mine didnt shoot 30 with with .20s cause they kept curving upwards

"This gun is a good gun for the price. The reason I give it a 4 is because it is not that accurate but has a good ROF and the metal body is very nice. I wish you could take off the mock suppressor, but its part of the RIS so you cant. Its got a nice weight to it too
by Edwin L. on 03/15/2009
"Great AEG. Almost everything is metal which gives it good weight. The PEQ box is very high quality and if purchased alone with no battery, is pretty expensive. Nice wiring job out of the back. Very differnt look and unlike any other M4 out there. Accepts all of my mags (KWA,Star, palco, etc.) Has a good rate of fire and averages between 350 and 360 FPS. I dropped a M110 spring and ported cylinder in it and it shoots close to 400. Easy to take apart with the exception of routing the external battery connection. Shoots about 15-16 bb's per second. A quick shim job was needed to make it shoot buttery smooth but not needed. My only gripe is that the upper reciever is a bit loose. Also, the upper rail was a tad wide to fit an Eotech on so I had to dremmel it down a bit. I'm guessing this was a fluke though. Great choice if you want to be agile on the field. Definately different in the sea of M4's out there. Over all, a good purchase!

"This is a great gun! Good FPS great sites; all metal. Shorter Barrel for CQB looks and feels awesome.

Scopes will work good on this gun. May need a handle and attachable rail to raise it up if it isnt already tall enough to look over the sites.

One Question: How to get the Hand Guard off...?

Great gun for anyone!
