"Love it! This is easily the best stock rifle I've ever owned, outperforms my VFC. This gun has very consistent and intimidating performance, I can pick off people up to 150 feet and probably further with .25 gram bbs. The fps is around 370 with a .25, rof with a 9.6v battery is around 17-18, very snappy trigger but could be better. The quality is very nice and the gun feels great in your hands. Gun likes all mags I've thrown at it. Stock is very comfortable, the jail break rail is a very nice looking feature and functions nicely too, a paracord weave gives the gun a nice look, lastly, the hop up is amazing.
Would definitely recommend to players of all caliber

"Picked this gun up 3 weeks ago and love it! Rate of fire is excellent hop up system is great, features such as selector switch is crisp and highly realistic! This is a top end rifle you won't regret it. Just wish the price was a little less but you get what you pay for.

"I don't normally write reviews but this rifle is amazing.
The G&P internal has a significantly higher rate of fire that many players assumed I worked on the internal although it is just stock. I would not recommend anything else if you are looking for the best of the best.
Pro:
Great rate of fire and accuracy.
Great range
reliable gearbox
good magazine feeding
superb exterior finish
Con:
None

"Hi,
I finally got mine yesterday after waiting for quite awhile for this to be released. This is well worth the wait, it's a little pricey but just like any high end AEG's out there, it's worth it. It comes in a white box, almost Apple product like, comes with a spare black flash hider, red dot, muzzle break and mag. The gun is solidly built, it shot 400 with .2's and has a
good range. It is almost identical to it's real steel counterpart except for the bolt of course and also
the muzzle break on this is solid matte black as oppose to the silver on the real steel. Other than those, it's almost identical down to the engraved, great quality trademarks.
Overall, this is a very good gun especially if you're a fan of the Salient Arms International co. Now, I can't wait for the GBB to come out and that would be for sure the closest thing to the real one. Good job here EMG, G&P!

"This gun is not all about the amazing look, it is a beast on the field! If you are looking to get one gun, the SAI GRY is the way to go!

"I absolutely love this gun. Feels great, and performs amazing. My only downside was when I fell for the first time with this gun. A piece that holds the upper receiver together with the lower, snapped after one fall. So one side is snapped, and the other side is perfectly fine which results in one side of the gun wobbling up and down. Unfortunately after talking to support, there is no way it can be repaired, so my only option is to buy a $240 new upper receiver. As long as you dont fall on yours this will last and perform amazing!

"This review is for the EMG / SAI GRY AR-15 AEG Training Rifle w/ JailBrake Muzzle (Configuration: SBR / Black Export Furniture)
This is an excellent bundle kit out of the box. I like to tinker and took this as my opportunity to see what I could not only break - but also fix.
The frame and build of the gun is excellent. Not being picatinny on the sides and underbarrel leaves something to be wanted, but there is plenty of space for keymod attachments/additional railing.
First thing that failed for me was the fake charging handle. After adjusting my hopup the first time, the poor quality spring which retains the charging handle would not retract back into place. This also holds the gold "salient" dust cover plate in place - which is free floating with nothing really holding it into place.
Next thing that failed after multiple fieldings was the bucking. Highly suggest replacing this anyway, but this was again, kind of a stress test to see how much time and effort it takes to perform these types of repairs.
A gripe I have with this gun is the default gearbox - out of the box - works fine. You could probably go a year of fielding this without any real gearbox issues. For whatever reason though, they had the bright idea of not having it a "quick change" type. Mine was 330 fps out of the box, which will work for CQB, but I was expecting more. Hybrid fields are the norm in my area (Mixture of cqb and outdoor fields) and 330 fps really doesn't give you enough range on the field, or conversely, a reason to run it over say, a pistol or a shotgun in CQB. After taking it up to 450 fps as a "DMR", and then back down to 390 as a all-around platform, I'd recommending upgrading the spring to whatever your fields maximum CQB allowance is. (The "DMR" setup worked well once I upgraded the barrel, no point to run it with anything less than a 375mm barrel, and at this point, I'd suggest the other, longer "carbine" barrel housing so you could fit a longer tightbore barrel in it)
Moving back to failures - recommended is the 7.4V LiPo, works great. Motor on the other hand is a cheaper 20-30$ "high torque" motor. Poor thing sounds like it's trying so hard, after swapping it out for a higher grade motor it sounded fine.
The barrel - 6.05 widebore, roughly 280mm in length on the shorter version. Highly recommend swapping for a tightbore, 6.03 or smaller. Really helps with the grouping. The accuracy out of the box leaves a bit to be desired, but it's a pretty well optimized CQB platform to start.
At the end of the day, if you purchase this and do no upgrades, you're really gimping the potential of it. It will work. Hell, if this is your first higher-tier purchase ($350+), you might not even notice a lot of the aspects I pointed out. (And a tightbore barrel and high quality bucking are an easy upgrade with great, noticeable results)
Also this gun comes with no battery or charger, so you'll want to stock up on a few 7.4V LiPo batteries (Around $15-25 on amazon for the proper style), and a smart charger ($40-50 bucks here will save you a lot of heartache, and they're pretty useful for other types of batteries you might have.) This was kind of disappointing to discover but I already had the batteries and charger on the way. Kind of wish it was bundled as a "kit" for the same price, came with the extra magazines and you'd basically be field-ready out of the box.
