With over 35 years of fishing experience, the Owners decided to combine their love of fishing and "designed a bait that would change the fishing industry". These baits have 4 patents and are very unique as they are effective in getting bit on the glide down as well as jigging it back to the surface and can be casted, retrieved and used when trolling.

About Hookup Baits

Hookup Baits is a small business located in San Diego, CA that designs and manufactures the Original Hookup Baits jigs. The founders and owners bring to the table over 30 years of experience in the fishing industry and one day decided to design a bait that would change how people fish. These versatile baits are available in variety of colors and in sizes from 1/32 to 4 oz designed for freshwater and saltwater. In three years, the company who started in a small studio, to a basement, to a two car garage and now at a 2400 warehouse space that we have outgrown in the past year we would have never imaged so much growth in a short period of time. When asked how we became so successful it is all about make fishing fun, designing a bait that gets bit, the values of the company, the passion to give back to the fishing industry, and our Hookup Baits family that has been so supportive. We employ around 20 employees and proud to say our product is made in the USA.
