Constructed with Daiwa's HVF Nanoplus graphite blank, these rods are light enough for all-day topwater sessions with a backbone to muscle brutes to into submission. The HVF Nanoplus graphite is wrapped using Daiwa's X45 bias construction which perfectly aligns the spine of the rod, greatly improving accuracy and reinforcing the rod for ultimate hook-setting power. Fuji Tangle-Free SiC guides provide effortless castability and the ability to quickly cast lures into the strike-zone without worry of line wrapping in the guides, even in strong winds.

Fuji SiC Ring
SiC has been the gold standard of guide ring material for over 20 years. Super hard, light and highly polished and smooth, SiC guides are an excellent dissipater fof heat making them ideal for light drags and/or big fish.

X45
Developed to eliminate blank twist and increase power, X45 features a Bias Wrap Construction, left/right 45 degree carbon weave within the blank. X45 radically improves rod strength and durability by eliminating twist and preventing the blank from losing its round form. The elimination of this twist allows for a lighter, stronger and more powerful and sensitive rod.

HVF Nanoplus
In contrast to normal carbon fiber rods with high resin content in the space between the carbon fibers DAIWA HVF (High Volume Fiber) rods are made of a carbon fiber compound with less resin, called HVF. Since resin has a high weight, rods made of HVF are more condensed, more light weight and feature a faster action. Nanoplus: Resin material first is enriched with a nanoalloy compound and then is used for connecting the single carbon fibers, thus enabling the design of very lightweight and robust blanks.

V-Joint
On every rod the joint is an area of potential stiffness, interrupting the smooth shape of a rods curve. By applying bias carbon and V-Joint; turning the fibre direction into a diagonal position, our designers have delivered to the perfect balance between flex and strength.
