Most PTS products utilize their "Enhanced Polymer," which is a specially engineered material that combines exceptional durability with a refined, textured finish. It’s not too heavy, but also doesn’t feel toyishly light. The texturing provides excellent grip and, in my opinion at least, enhances the aesthetic appeal by giving the rifle a more ruggedized appearance. In this article, we will delve into some of PTS’s most iconic products, taking a look at how these awesome external accessories can transform your airsoft rifle. From their universally popular high-capacity EPM1 magazine to the ample battery space of their ergonomic EPS stock, we will explore the features and benefits that make PTS parts a worthy upgrade. There’s a reason why seasoned players consistently choose PTS for their airsoft builds. Let's discover why!
The PTS EPM1 Magazine: A High-Cap Mid-Cap
The PTS Enhanced Polymer Magazine (EPM1) is one of the most sought-after airsoft accessories. Given its ludicrously high 250 round capacity, it’s not hard to see why. This magazine is designed with PTS’s Enhanced Polymer for maximum durability and build quality while also having some of the highest non-winding magazine capacity found on the airsoft market. The more BBs you have in your mag, the more firepower you can unleash down range before needing a reload.
The translucent window on the side of the magazine allows players to quickly check their remaining ammo, which is a game-changing advantage over other midcap magazines. Very few airsoft magazines have capacity indicators, and even less have one as easy to read as the EPM1. Moreover, the EPM1’s feeding system is meticulously engineered to ensure smooth and consistent BB delivery, minimizing jams and misfeeds. Keep in mind: Not all airsoft nozzles carry the strength to chamber BBs under the maximum spring tension of the EPM1. It’s highly recommended to leave these magazines filled with BBs for a few days after purchase to let the spring wear into an ideal pressure. Discard those break in BBs immediately after! The EPM1s spring tension is capable of warping BBs left inside the magazine for too long. If you have the coin for airsoft’s best M4 magazines, there’s no better pick than the EPM1!
The PTS EPS Stock: The Ideal Airsoft M4 Stock
Another one of the most prominent products from PTS is their Enhanced Polymer Stock (EPS). If I could choose any stock to run for the rest of my airsoft career, it would probably be this one. Although it runs a tad bulkier than some other stock options, the amount of user-convenience features it incorporates makes the chunk a small downside in comparison. Once again, that Enhanced Polymer makes the stock feel a cut above other plasticy airsoft buffer-tube stocks. It simply feels great!
The EPS features two unique sling attachment points, giving players a versatile set of options for their preferred sling setups. You can either use the QD sling point insert or the classic loop-and-tie system found below it. The EPS stock's absolute best feature is its massive battery space. Fitting airsoft batteries can often prove difficult due to the unique dimensions and sizes they come in. Thankfully, the EPS stock features roomy slots inside the cheek rest for cylindrical batteries and a large brick area at the base. Paired with the convenience of the stock’s QD plate, it becomes easy to see why this stock is so commonly sought after by veteran airsofters!
