" This is a great gun especially for what you get. When I got my Sten Mk2 it came in a nice box, which shows the British flag and what the Sten stands for (Shepherd Turpin Enfield). The first time I picked this gun up, I was very surprised how heavy it was, because it felt almost as heavy as my Tokyo Marui AA12. This gun also felt very sturdy because of its full steel construction, which leads me to believe that this gun will last a while. I liked how the gun wasn’t very back heavy, compared to most airsoft guns I own, and instead was more heavy on the left side, where the magazine goes. You may think that the unbalanced weight on one side would be a problem, but in my opinion, it wasn’t at all as the best way to hold this gun is by the magazine to combat the weight. Shooting the Sten is a blast, as it kicks pretty hard for what it is. When I first shot this gun I was amazed at how much kick the gun had, as I’ve never owned a gun with this much kick/recoil. One problem with this gun is that magazines are super hard to find. All of them are out of stock every where, so I had to buy an Airtac HPA adapter which I don’t have at the moment right now, but it is almost mandatory to have if you want to skirmish this gun. Another problem I faced is that this gun is a gas hog, and has horrible stock o rings, which makes the magazine run out of gas after 20-25 shots. You can replace the o rings which are located in the piston with better ones to make the gas in your magazine last longer. Overall, I think this gun is 100% worth getting, as it’s full steel, kicks hard, and is one of the best, if not the best airsoft Sten replicas out there.
" fantastic external build: clean, robust, and realistic
gas efficiency is good in warm weather but kind of a meh in cold weather in full auto, but on semi, it works fine (way better than i expected for a side mounted magazine)
FPS is rather consistent for a open bolt gun
easy to maintain/field strip/disassemble
correct marking
takes some time to break in
overall very impressive product!
