"Very solid gun. On the foldable stock the stock could be sturdier. Shoots very far and accurately. Overall good gun.

"The venerable Cyma 028 has been the starter AK-47 for years now and is still a solid gun overall. I bought mine from Evike in 2011 and it has seen extensive use over the years. From backyard shooting to field days, it has held up and continues to be a tank to this day. As of this year, the FPS of my gun was measured to be around 380 FPS on .2s. It still hops a .25 with about a quarter of the hop on. Over the years finish on the gun has held up well and could be described as field-tested. The battery that I initially used for this rifle was a 9.6v NimH battery but have now switched to a 7.4 lipo. Both batteries function perfectly on this gun. You can run 11.1 lipos on this but if you use it long-term your trigger contacts may degrade and your gun may no longer take lower voltage batteries.
The metal parts on this gun are as follows: The dust cover (Steel), charging handle, outer barrel assembly (Steel), iron sights, selector switch (Steel), cleaning rod (Steel), and trigger guard (Steel). The lower receiver is grey plastic but is still solid. Everything on the inside is Tokyo Marui compatible with ak-47 aeg parts. If you buy this gun new today, you'll probably have stronger internals than my model as Cyma has done internal component refreshes to this gun over the years.
Overall, if you use the recommended battery with the gun, it will last you for years. For a while, my gun was sitting in storage but after I started firing again, it worked perfectly. These things are workhorses and a greater starter gun if you want an AK platform.

"This gun does an amazing job! Not too pricy, great for beginners.

"I bought this gun on sale. I picked up as an extra incase a friend came along or as a loner at the field if it was needed. For the price it's a great gun. The quality isn't the best. The dust cover fell off and was lost the first day it was used. But the gun shoots great. Distance and accuracy is good. For a beginner or For an extra gun this is great.

"So I've had this gun for four years and it's still running great! I just started using .25's in it with a 9.6v. and it's shoots better than my sniper rifle. I would highly recommend this gun to any beginner or advanced airsoft player. The best part about this is it's easy to take apart and look at what's wrong with it( I haven't had any issues with it so far and I play in the woods and lay in the mud with it). I haven't found any mounting rail for it yet( plan to get one soon). The fire rate is a little bit slower than an M4 but the performance is way better when it comes to this Ak variant. The trigger is way more responsive with a 9.6 V. and it shoots a lot faster. Also this thing has a 600 rd. magazine( an RPK mag will fit to me and y friend tried it with his 2000 rd one).
Pros- Shoots straight with .25's bbs don't drop at all (and I have a 100 ft. yard), shoots fast, has a good trigger response, easy to clean, holds a ton of bbs, no regrets at all buying this gun.
Cons- bbs do curve away every now and then, hop up can be a pain sometimes but when is it not, it is hard to get the dust cover back on, butt of the gun has fallen off but I lost a screw that was in it.

"Love this gun. Everything is metal cept the orange tip and the wood ofc. My field limit is 400fps and its shoots at 399! Its amazing. Its slightly light but you cam but metal rods under the dust cover to help with that. It is compatible with every Ak mag ive put in it so far. If you can upgrade it too this things is a beast! Highly recomend. This gun should really be 200$. So , let the words of and internet stranger convince you to buy this gun!

"Fcking amazing gun. Shoots right around 360 ish FPS. For such a cheap AEG it’s amazing. It was my first gun. Shoots better then every rental M4 I’ve tried. And 600 round mag. Heck yeah.

"Absolutely an amazing starter weapon. Shoots at about 380 fps with .25s (which is what I run with) and has plenty of hop up adjustment for heavier BBs. Of course, .2s work fine with this gun too. The battery reccomended by evike is perfect, good ROF. Has a really good range on it, but keep in mind it is no DMR or assault rifle. However, this gun more than makes up for it in medium to short range engagements. It's very easy and simple to use!
Warning! This gun is an older model. When I received mine, the full auto was not working properly (it wouldn't react to hop up and had very limited range). In order to remedy this, you can relubricate the gun by putting 2 drops of silicone oil inside the receiver (through the hole that the BBs feed into the gun). Then just fire about 50 rounds, wipe down the barrel using the cleaning rod, and you'll be good to go!
TLDR: EASILY worth $115. Very satisfied with this gun!

"Great !!!!! Shoots well. Accurate at 50-65 Yards w/ 0.23g bbs . Hop up is Good.
100000/10 would recommend on a budget. Get a good battery. Rate of fire w/ 7.4 lipo isn't crazy fast but it is not bad.
Pros:
cheap
good fps
Heavy ( Could be con)
durable
accurate
stock is sturdy
Cons:
Heavy (could be pro)
front sight slightly wobbly

"I've had this gun for a month now and i can proudly say that this is by far the best AK you can buy,it's cheap,it's powerful,it's accurate, has a very fast rof, definitely worth the money, internals are full metal while externals are mostly polymer and plastic,i admit that some things broke on me like the charging handle and the sling it comes with, but that's an easy fix, overall if you're looking for a fully automatic aeg that's reliable, strong, accurate, and you're on a budget? This is the rifle for you

"Recently picked this AK up and played a full day with it at my local field.
I own several M4 platform rifles, from Tippmann to ICS to Krytac, and I wanted something different so I checked out this AK and since it was on sale I took a chance and wow, color me impressed.
This isn’t a cheap AK, it’s inexpensive, a real killer deal for the performance I got out of it. I use .28 bbs in all my rifles and this AEG used them like a champ. The accuracy for the price is unbelievable, easily comparable to my ICS guns, maybe even my LOVA, so either CYMA got something really right with this AK or theres something wrong with my Krytac.
Seriously, this is an excellent AK for the money, good weight, sturdy, accurate and a real nice change of pace to the endless sea of AR style rifles I constantly run into. New players and even more seasoned players would find this AEG to be an excellent addition to their collection. I’m honestly thinking of getting another one, it’s that good.
5/5, would field this at bb wars again.

"NOTICE: THIS IS A TWO PRONGED REVIEW: I have had two of these guns
My first gun out of the box looked nice, the box itself was a little busted up from the shipping but the gun itself looked great. When I lifted it up out of the box my first impression was "Holy cow, this thin weighs a lot like the real thing!" The outside is mainly made of plastic, good quality I do say so myself. The barrel is good aluminum and feels sturdy. Now remember, this is my first gun, I pulled it out of the box and toyed around with it for the next two days. After day 3, the gun stopped working, it just plain died. So, I got a hold of Evike and asked for a return. They granted it and I received my fixed gun two weeks later. The repaired gun lasted for 2 days and died, so I again got a hold of Evike and requested for a new gun. They granted that as well and in another 2 weeks, I got my BRAND new AK-47.
My 2nd AK worked beautifully! I have now had it for half a year now and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. It shoots quite hard and fast for an entry-level AEG, the battery last all day under continued firing. My only problem is that when I remove the mag, 3-4 bbs fall out and are wasted. Oh well, no big deal. Many people take me aside and ask me about where I got this "amazing" gun. It is outstanding on the battle field and is well worth the price!
Pros----
Good FPS
Nice high-cap mag
durable plastic
real metal and aluminum
fully up-gradable gearbox
nice full auto/semi auto firing
accurate weight (maybe a con)
amazing battery life
very accurate
price is a killer deal!
Cons---
3-4 BBS fall out of the mag when released
kinda hard to fit the battery in the stock
somewhat heavy (can be a pro)
sorta loud
mag feels like it's made of a cheap-ish metal
Overall, it is an amazing deal defiantly worth the price! Would reccomend it for all entry-level/intermediate airsofters.
