"This gun is absolutely amazing!!
Agm knows how to make an amazing replica of the MP-40 that is a 1:1 scale of the real deal!
Now that doesn't mean this gun is without its flaws cause there are a few flaws that make it sort of hard to get the gun working right out of the box!
But first I’ll state the pros!
Pros:
Good weight
Folding stock
Decent accuracy and range for a SMG using a 7.4v 20c lipo
CQB friendly!
No high cap magazine!
Decent battery space in the rear under the top of the gun
Now onto the cons
Selector switch, it looks god awful on the side of the gun but making it have semi and fully semi automatic(if you know you know Brandon for congress 2024) capabilities for indoor and outdoor play
How you turn on the gun is odd too, there’s a switch on the bottom of the pistol grip that’s unlabeled making misfires and dry firing have a greater than zero chance of happening.
Mid caps only. Now I know there’s high caps on the market but not everyone likes them especially me and with only 55 round mid caps you’ll blow through that within a minute of starting a game trust me buy atleast four more magazines
Jamming. So if you spam fire on semi this gun has a chance to jam and if it does remove the magazine, flick the selector onto full auto fire a short burst and flick it back this will clear up the jam and you can continue on blasting.
Overall I give this gun a solid 8/10 for the overall package you’re getting from AGM for this gun.
Great performance.
“Decent” magazine capacity and spare mags are dirt cheap too
Great longevity (I’ve had mine going on four years now)
Over all a solid gun and worth the 200 dollar asking price from AGM I highly suggest picking this one up if you’re looking for a great wallet friendly MP-40 on the market!
Hope this review helps you out on deciding to purchase this gun or not!

"Honestly I was disappointed the box it came in. Cardboard lid and styrofoam box. The gun itself I do like a lot. It’s not too quality if you want to compare it to a more expensive Thompson or other ww2 guns. But when you don’t have much of any other option for a mp40 i like it. It doesn’t like shooting with a 11 volt battery so I don’t recommend using one. It shoots nice with a 7v. Slow and more realistic for a mp40. It’s easy to take the gun apart into 2 sections to install the battery. Yes the stock is wobbly but all paratrooper style guns like AK’s do the same thing so no big deal I’m sure the real ones did it also. Over all I do love this gun it’s perfect if you are a ww2 collector.

"Got my MP40 about 3 years ago in the Faux wood color. Opened it and works amazing. I’ve never had any problems with it, and shoots 310-325 FPS on .20 gram bbs, which is almost perfect for my field. Tight grouping, good fire rate can be expected from this replica, also many looks and people asking you to fire it. Perfect for anyone interest in WW2 replicas.
Pros-
Realistic weight
Tight Grouping on 7.4 NiMH Battery
Sturdy
Good hop up
Folding stock can shorten the replica a good amount (Also looks sick)
Cons-
Comes with a 35 round low cap (though 110rnd midcaps are cheap for about $10)
Long range flip up sight pin is prone to coming loose, can be replaced

"This is a fantastic piece whether you are new to airsoft or not. I have had it for years (stock) and it has been an absolute treasure to use. I recently took it to my first field and it performed very well, although it wasnt as great as all the upgraded m4's and such that were present there it did not disappoint at all. I recently bought some upgrades for it and I am looking forward to installing them!
The FPS is decent, the Accuracy is ok (but hey, its an SMG) and the range isnt terrible. I would Recommend a 9.6v NIMH brick type battery to go with it as I think that is all you're honestly going to need.
My only issue I have had with this gun isnt even with the gun itself, it has been with the magazines. The high-caps have a reverse winding mechanism on them which feels strange to use and they dont feed very well unless they have been fully wound up. I would recommend the low-caps and some mp40 mag pouches which are easy enough to find on amazon.
10/10

"What an amazing gun! It is as close to an MP40 that an airsoft gun can be. Just a little lighter than the real thing and almost perfect in overall dimensions.
It fires great and packs a punch at close range. Kind of hard to consistently hit your target at about 100 feet, but that's to be expected with open sights. I took pics side by side with a real MP40 but I can't post them.
Very impressed.

"MP40 -
I thought I might do a review on here since this is the same exact gun that is on the Airsoft GI store website the only difference is is that the one that I bought from Airsoft GI was an all-black version and it was only $126
First impression -
When I opened up the box to this airsoft gun everything was intact I mean everything nothing out of place or nothing that wasn't supposed to be there the only difference is with the one that I got a off Airsoft GI and it really doesn't matter it's just the distributor but the one that I got was an AGM but it was distributed by ukarms I don't know if that's any difference considering that Matrix also sells them to
Info and testing -
I got this gun for a World War 1943 Airsoft kit that I put together the gun overall is excellent I have nothing bad to say about it shoots great already put close to about 700 pellets through still shoots amazing I bought King Arms 110 round mid-cap mags and they work great I heard some negative reviews from people getting broken ones if you do get the King Arms 110 round mags make sure you put some gel or oil where the pellet release switch is it's the best idea for easy feeding
The last thing I want to add for this before pros and cons is that this stock the end part that goes against your shoulder will fold under when you're running and might you might have a if there's a way for you to adjust it other than that I don't use it with the stock keep it under folded
Skirmish -
When I first use this gun I ran about 300 rounds through it shoots absolutely amazing no problems at all the cool thing about it is that it has an on and off switch underneath the trigger handle compared to most guns that's really good other than that I wouldn't say I have anything negative to say about this I absolutely love this MP40 the cool thing about this is that it doesn't use high caps and most of the airsofting World uses hi cap mags so that might be a upper hand you might see on the airsoft field it gave me a slight upper hand most outdoor Fields don't allow you to use full auto but if they do allow you to use burst use it in a burst matter only a maybe about 1 to 2 second trigger pulls other than that if you just hold down the trigger and unload the pellet seem to not feed is good
Pros:
☆decent fps(always good to run 50 bbs thru to get it warmed up before chrono)
☆ grouping is good
☆ weight
☆ can fit a 9.6v butterfly battery
Cons:
☆ Wobbly stock
☆ taking the gun apart to put the battery in its compartment maybe a little finicky don't be afraid to force it
☆ fps is a little low
Overall -
At the end of the day this gun is really good to use for any kit regardless if you're using it just with whatever or using it as World War II kit this gun is perfect for you rating i would give is 8/10 there's some minor things that could be better with this gun but other than that it's real really not that bad after customizing some Airsoft guns in the past I've noticed that don't get too carried away the only thing I would probably add would be a better fps spring just increase a little bit more fps

"This is a fantastic replica and I've played a single match with it at full power -an absolute beast on the indoor scene-
I fell and dented the gearbox cylinder, but everything else retained shape. The motor is weak now, and even after replacing a gearbox cylinder, it was cut by 40% of original FPS. Great durability for had been previously decommissioned before I took it apart. Love the feel and the wobbly stock joint bothers me none. I love the way the stock folds! I also dropped a mag and the spring was halfway out, but I had bought some others and the mags are an easy fix (granted you find all parts). I highly recommend this gun for it was my real first; albeit not long. The safety is under the pistol grip bty. Took me a long time to figure that out.

"Overall weight makes it feel realistic though it feels cheap it is actually alot more durable than you think. Just dont go slamming it into everything to test it.
Pros
-realistic weight
-easy to disassemble/reassemble
-metal mag, body, and gearbox
Cons
- tiny magazine
-doesnt feed last 2-4 bbs (not much of a problem)
-hop up slide slides back without user pulling it sometimes
-stock wobbles slighly and slightly worsens
-sling it comes with doesnt fit
Overall, get higher capacity mags, tighten stock, and get a sling that fits. Other than that have fun!

"I just got the gun and boy is it a beautiful work of Art. Here are the facts:
1. It is heavy, using the attached sling is recommended.
2. It is so realistic I decided to paint more orange on it so I don't get shot by the police.
3. The stock wobbles but quit whining, its not a big issue.
4. When fired it is very menacing. Meaning it is loud and sounds like a Sturdy piece of art.
This is an honest review for the gun. I would give it a 9 out of 10.
Only problem was one of the sling clips came bent, but pliers fixed it.
This is a serious gun, I would recommend painting more orange on it.
Overall opinion, 95% happy with it, the cost is very very reasonable for the price.
I plan on getting the 300 round clip.

"I got one of these in 2007, as I had been obsessed with this gun my entire life, and I wasn't disappointed. I had been looking at ebay for an mp-40 "wallhanger", and was looking at Marushin shell-ejecting, cap-firing guns, and saw the Top version of this;back then I didn't know anything about aeg's. When it arrived I fired it and immediately became interested in airsoft, and have been playing ever since. Now I prefer guns with longer range, fps, and rof, but still have a place for this gun in my heart. Mine ended up shattering after it fell off a kitchen counter, and it was no longer fixable but I got more than my money's worth, having used it for about five years. All the complaints about the stock being loose are unfounded, because it easily folds up and serves no real purpose other than purely cosmetic; once it's folded up under the lower receiver it isn't going anywhere!! It's very realistic-weighing 7 lbs. gives it a sense of authority, and the magazine capacity mirrors the real steel. Get a few extra mags if you are prone to shooting at times other than when you know it's a confirmed "kill"! This gun is not for the player who mindlessly spews ammo at opponents behind cover. If I ever throw in the towel and become a cqb guy, I'd use this, because at ranges of less than 100 feet it gets the job done and looks way more cool than the sea of M-4's and AK's out there.
