"This gun is incredible. I recommend it if you wanna have a cool looking gun that has a nice blowback. I really like how you can put green gas while it's in the gun. (I think)
Pros:
Great blowback
Heavy but balanced feel and design
Crunchy sounds (good sounds)
Shoots very far and fast
Cons:
It can take up more gas than other pistols

"Outstanding collaboration between EMG and Taran Tactical Innovations. I had been waiting for them to finally come back in stock and ordered it up on the 4th of July sale. The quality so far is top notch and getting a licensed and accurate replica of the Island Barrel STI 2011 for a couple hundred rather than around 5 grand is a steal, the 6mm ammo and a CO2 costs a whole lot less than 9mm as well these days. I saw some reviews about the baseplate being hard to take off, the Taran Tactical base plate uses a pin to hold it in place and on the side is a Allen screw you have to back out with the included wrench, after that the pin drops free and the base plate slides off. Overall super happy and this is my second EMG pistol, they last longer than others i've had and the official licensing is a really nice feature. Keep up the good work Evike.

"This is an amazing pistol, I’ve shot 300 rounds so far and each shot is consistent! It sounds amazing when firing and the trigger feels nice and smooth. I used crossman co2, I believe that had something to do with fast co2 consumption. Only got about 2 mags with it. Another flaw was the barrel, the rose gold was peeling off and it kinda messed up the look. Over all this fun was totally worth the price! It shoots amazing and looks amazing what more could you ask for?

"The gun is excellent. The blowback is amazing and is very accurate. I highly recommend it. I only have one issue, and that’s with the magazine. After barely a month of usage the mag started to leak the gas inside, and I haven’t been able to fix it making the magazine basically useless. Otherwise it’s a fun to use. Although I may have to purchase another magazine.

"I love this gun so much! The blowback is incredible and the gun looks super cool. It preforms great. The only thing is that i've had to get a new mag release twice because it keeps getting stripped, but other than that, I would 100% recommend you buy it,

"Pros:
Snappy, cycles just as quick as my short stroked 6" KJW 191.
Cool factor 10 (babaaa yagaaaa).
Soft trigger (preference), wall is a bit soft but reset is clear enough.
TM aftermarket appropriate.
Cons:
Gas inefficient [Green Gas = 1.5ish mags in 80 degree weather along with 10fps deviance every 3rd/5th shot]( Suggest aftermarket on mags or blowback housing/nozzle)
Atrocious hop up unit out of the box (very sad to see it get outshot at 50 ft by a stock kjw half the price from almost 10 years ago)
Paint on island barrel easily scratches off
Must upgrade if you want real tight groupings [$$$] (was hoping for decent accuracy at 50 ft with .25's but I thought wrong)
Very happy that I'm able upgrade this to performance spec, and sings with my HPA line (monk customs single stack piece will not fit in the stock mag); but if you are looking for a platform to drop $200 based on quality/performance out of the box I would suggest going elsewhere. We all know this gun looks bada** as fudge brownies on vanilla ice cream on a summer eve, but don't expect it to perform well past 25 ft. Still going to run it because I am a huge fan of the movies, they even shot a scene right next to my old highschool! Would give a 3.5 / 5.
My accuracy upgrade list:
Airsoft masterpiece Brass Hopup unit
Maple leaf Crazy Jet 150mm (Hidden with a CowCow thread adapter)
Maple leaf autobot 60 (outdoors) decepticon 70 (indoors)

"Beautiful gun, feels very good. It is true that the extended mag release is an acquired touch.
I tried to fire it for the first time, but the magazine it comes with does hold gas. I secured in the first cartridge, didn't hear it puncture and test fired it. All of the gas expelled. Gas streams out every time I put a cartridge in. Supposedly it is the valve being to loose. So I've gotta wait to buy some tools.
As far as I know this gun is really cool and feels good. I haven't had the chance to field or shoot it yet. The only reason I'm rating it low so far is the magazine that came with it.

"Set screw backed out holding spring back! Tightened and spring fully extended... works fine now 👍

"First impressions are great the gun has very smooth action and
is solid without much play so its a solid build for the most part. It's all metal except for some internals and the grip. It is heavy handed but I like that in my airsoft guns so I'm ok with that its a good weight.
This is where I have the problem (atleast for the co2 version) with the spring rod guide being plastic. It did not stand up to the power or was already broke around the rim of the base of the spring rod guide so when I went to shoot it for the fist time I didn't even get threw the first mag. In the end I had to go to a local field and by one that was metal.
Other than that after I replaced the spring rod guide it runs flawlessly. And the other problem is the grip safety mine fires without my hand on the grip saftey.
P.s. I have the cowcow spring rod guide currently in the gun it is a very tight fit so fair warning because the one that comes with the gun is very thin and fragile.

"Very nice and accurate. I've used it 3 times and the mag button fell off and the bottom plastic on the magazine fell off. It does shoot good but so far it's not holding up on the field. I hope I can replace the button.

"The sticker on it left marks and the gun and removing orange tip was really hard.but it is great pistol

"I love this gun but I came with problems.
(For reference this was my first real airsoft gun)
When it came the mag was leaking (green gas version) but I fixed it by opening it up and tightening the fittings
Also came with a slide that would stick back every shot with or without bb’s (not the slide catch) to fix this I had to buy some grease I used “Super Lube-21030 synthetic grease” and I had to open up the gun and grease just about everything to get it to work again
It works great now but definitely was not stoked about the state it came in
Looks great tho
