"My first time getting a real airsoft gun. I Omit that weight is good also feels really sold. My back stock wasn’t wobbly or any issues with my weapon. I recommend this airsoft gun to anyone who’s looking for a sold and good looking gun. I’m planning to buy furniture to complete my future build. Can’t wait to take it to the field.

"Great rifle, runs fine with 7.4v 25C battery, I don't recommend an 11.1v as it doesn't have a mosfet. Internals are fine, externals are great, and the only flaw I had was a slightly wobbly buffer tube that was quickly fixed by tightening down a phillips screw that held it in place.
Pros:
Daniel Defense rail feels highly durable and high quality
Stock Internals are great as is
Colt trademarks (No daniel defense trademarks though)
Cons:
Hopup unit could be better
Stock that comes included has a bit of wobble and doesn't fit tight on the buffer tube
No Mosfet

"Had this replica for 6 years now (not even an exaggeration) and have played with many guns but this is still my favorite. Here's a few things I can say.
Issues:
Internal trigger unit had to be replaced due to faulty semi selection. Replaced it with a TITAN v2 and fit perfectly no need to shave down the wire space.
Paint isn't the most durable it scratches and has worn down in some areas but DOES NOT peel or flake. Still amazing quality after 6 years.
Outer barrel isn't made to the highest tolerance so there is some inner barrel wobble. This is easily fixed with some electrical tape or o-rings.
Pros:
Very good construction.
Paint wears well.
No peeling.
Amazing gearbox.
Amazing gearbox internals (gears, motor, etc).
Good buffertube.
Nice weight.
Realistic Cons.
No mosfet.
Average hop-up unit.
Buffer tube is not to real-steel spec, but fit my magpul ctr decently.
Paint quality is above average but nothing incredible (not a make or break).
What I would do getting this gun I'd do these things out of the box:
Get a titan v2 mosfet
Get a better hop-up unit

"Great gun, I recommend elite force mags, because emg mags don’t work. The metal is the bomb and so is the plastic. Vfc gearbox stock is great you shouldn’t upgrade it because it’s already great. Should last 10 years+.

"I got this Mk18 for Christmas and let me tell you, it is amazing! Externally and internally it is a very nice rifle. Externally you get a full metal, heavy body. And yes it does have Colt and DD trades on it. Internally you get a Vfc quality gearbox and motor. With .25s I was getting around 370 fps, and the barrel/hopup unit is very nice and accurate. The only upgrade I’ve done to mine is adding a Zci High Torque motor into it, this makes it very snappy with a 11.1 lipo. The stock that comes with the rifle is very wobbly on the buffer tube, but if your getting a mk18, your probably gonna go with a CTR style stock anyways. All in all after adding all my standard mk18 attachments, it has quickly became my favorite aeg that I own.
If you want a mk18 at an affordable price, buy it!!

"I bought this gun in the Evike store, and I got to hold and feel both the vfc Mk18 and the EMG Mk18, and they are around the same price. However, the emg Mk18 had a wider rail than the vfc and had a different color to the rail. It just didn’t feel right in my hands as the vfc felt nice and comfortable. The vfc mk18 has better externals and color than the emg Mk18 and for anyone considering which one to get, the vfc Mk18 is the way to go for external looks and easy upgrades. I’m going to put a polarstar fusion engine in mine and it’ll easily be one of the best looking and powerful guns on my field.

"Great gun, looks great, a perfect gun for milsims or to show off to friends. The ultimate Airsoft gun in my opinion. Internally it is good but if your a dedicated air softer upgrades for internals and barrels are recommended.

"I recently bought this gun and so far I am very pleased. The finish, Like all VFC guns is really top notch quality. That's where this AEG really stands out. The internals are decent but nothing special. The gun has a nice weight to it. Full metal recievers, buffer tube, and outer barrel but the gin still is very easy to manuver with. With the optic and all accessories the gun weighs a little over 8lb. I bought this gun for the VFC fit and finish. Along with the oh so nice Fully Licensed Colt trades and Daniel Defense rail. I have already started upgrading the internals (Prometheus 6.03 tbb, Madbull blue bucking, And an ASG 35k motor) and planning to have a Gate Titan installed soon as well as some nicer gears. If you are looking for a solid and fair priced milsimish base gun this is the gun you want. It looks freaking sweet with the EoTech XPS2 and Flip to the side magnifier along with the other usual neccessary mk18 accessories thrown on it. Definitely a good buy.
The only con with this gun is the gearbox is definitely a little whiney. My VFC Avalon and VFC HK 416 A5 also have pretty whiney gearboxes. It doesn't effect the gun's performance at all. I get a nice 10" grouping on a man sized target from about 100-125feet away and the trigger response and rate of fire on an 11.1 Titan Power Lithium Ion battery is very good. 400-410fps with .20s and 22rps out of the box. ( After putting about 1,000-1,500 bbs through it the fps has settled into a nice 390-400 was which is perfect for me) It also would've been nice if the gun came with a mosfet but that's ok. All in all I give the gun an 8.5/10 internally and a 9/10 externally.

"Okay so the VFC MK18. Honestly for the money it's pretty great. Shoots well out of the box and surprisingly has some good range too it. Shoots fast and super straight, sorta like a beam of death or BB's.
Pro's
- Good ROF, and Range
- Feels very sturdy, externals are superb
- Bolt actually locks open like a real AR style weapon
- Accuracy
Con's
-It's a little pricey. I assume this is because it has Colt trademarks.
All and all it's a great beginner or intermediate AEG Carbine. I have been playing Airsoft for a little over 10 years now and I can say you really get what you pay for and in this case you're getting a lot of bang for your buck.
10/10 recommend this weapon.

"Very nice rifle out of box, all metal desing with licenced Daniel defense rail and colt trade marks (says 5.56mm on it unlike most that say 6mm) and unique serial number make it very authentic. Buffer tube is a little loose upon delivery but can be tighten with AR tool. The high cap mag it ships with is trash but fits very firmly. Shoots straight and sound a lot sharper then most AEGs. Probably the most authentic mk18 you will find for AEGs. Also the fire selector is very firm and it clicks into place, won't accidentally change during playing or by slightly touching it. Had a keymod aeg before this one and this aeg feels lighter out of box.
Pros
Very sturdy out of box
Very good internals out of box
Official trademarks where they should be
Full RIS (a lot of space for accessories)
Firm Fire selector (clicks and won't slip with light touch)
Very light out of box
Cons
Buffer tube came loose out of box (can be easily fixed)
Mag that ships with it is plastic (cheaply made, would recommend to use other mags with gun)
Overall very good gun out of box happy with build quality and internals (vfc is know for having the best stock internals)
Would highly recommend to anyone

"I ordered this gun about a year ago and it's a fantastic gun. It looks and feels fantastic and is great if you want to go for an operator or spec-ops look with your setup.
I've been using the gun exclusively since I've purchased it a year ago and have had no major issues, the gun requires little cleaning and maintenance (Not saying I don't take care of it) and can be banged up and slammed onto thing accidentally and it still works perfectly. Straight out of the box it shoots at around 375-385 fps and has decent range, this thing will pretty much do what you'd expect a mid to high range rifle would do.
Style wise this gun is bound to turn a few heads due to it's colt silencing, which definitely makes it unique, and it's classic brown rail system which gives it that iconic Mk18 look.
The rifle feels solid, shoots solid, looks amazing, and is very comfortable to hold and requires little modification if you're using it for any average field that has a 400 fps limit, I would highly recommend buying this AEG
Pros:
Real steel
Looks great
Performs great out of the box
Colt licensing
Sturdy
Cons:
Standard stock can be a bit wobbly and the buffer tube needs to be tightened down occasionally
Magazine well is way too big. Most, if not all, of my magazines wobble around inside of it and fall out when the mag release button is pressed.
Can be a little tricky to get some batteries inside the stock (Like any AEG)

"Over the last 4 and a half months I had this gun it worked great. I was worried about the fps when I got it but when I chrono'd it was shooting around 350 to 360fps with a 9.6 nunchuck battery. I was very happy with the ris2 rail, but on the box it says it's licensed by Daniel defense but I couldn't find any trades from them on the rail. But other than that I love the color of it! However it's very prone to scratching.. The performance is okay. It's nothing too special. Also in every video I've seen of this gun it had a regular wheel type hop up but mine came with a rotary type hop up,which is awesome! The colt trades are a very nice touch. Since the trades are engraved, I've colored those in with a white crayon so the trades pop now and are much more visible. There were no loose parts on this gun, if anything it was solid as a rock when I got it! Now here's what I don't like, the wiring isn't that strong I had it fray a couple of times. Nothing electric tape can't fix. For the price of this gun it's a little more expensive. I think mainly you're paying the externals.
I'm writing this now because it served me well as a stock AEG. And I'm planning to upgrade it in the very near future.
Overall I think it's a great gun that needs a little love. Anyway I hope this helped!

"this thing is an absolute animal, don't know what the other guy is talking about but it comes with a high cap mag not midcap, shoots 380fps flat right out the box and has pretty decent range, flashhider was easily taken off so i could add a suppressor.. no wobbly parts at all, thing is built like a tank, definitely worth the money

"Easily the nicest MK18 out on the market right now. I had the G&G version before this, it was nice but this just blows it away. Feels very similar to the real one and looks convincing too. I have no issues out of the box like the other reviewer did. Everything it nice and tight with zero imperfections. Performance wise it shoots like you'd expect a VFC too, which is very very good in case you never owned a VFC. These are lipo ready as long as you aren't using some crazy high discharge RC car battery, you need a mosfet for a battery like that otherwise stick to airsoft purposed lipos. Only complaint I have is there is an obvious area in the packaging for a black flash hider which was obviously removed from the packaging by someone, might not of been evike that removed it, maybe it was the supplier but either way it's annoying cause now I have to buy one. I had a VFC knights arms replica in the past and there was indeed a black flash hider in the packaging where there should of been one for my MK18. I'm not going to take a star or anything off for that but it's just something I figured I should say so maybe in the future it doesn't happen to anyone else.
TLDR
Pros
-colt trades are spot on
-very nice ris in a world where ris is being replaced on 9/10 replicas by keymod
-has the signature VFC slim grip to better simulate a real AR
-good paperwork with all the info you need to contact VFC directly in Taiwan for parts or upgrades
-shoots very nice, doesn't need any upgrades
-has a dial hop up, which is many times better than the traditional V2 rotary hop up
-comes with 3 knights arms style rail covers
-functional bolt catch, makes adjusting the hop up easy
Cons
-I know from experience VFC packages a black tip with their replicas, mine was missing despite the little box it comes in being there.
-the high cap it comes with seems kind of trashy

"Overall great gun for the price. This gun is amazing for cqb and has a great accuracy.
