"i bought this gun and i have had it for months now the gun is fantastic and hasnt failed me once and its a extremely high quality gun and has a good rate of fire with a 9.6v 1600 Nimh battery and has about a 25 rps maybe a little less and it feeds well with the stock mag and the mag holds around 800 bbs or more and nothing wobbles but in factory production some of the screws are loose and will most likely need to be tightened and if not tightened they may fall out after extensive use and this gun can shoot about 100 ft with adjusted hop-up reliably the bbs dont go super high they just go a little up about 3 to 5 inches higher and then hit the target but i could hit a target from 250 feet with 20 gram bbs without adjusting the hop-up i had to aim quite high but it was possible and this gun is also very easy to take the external parts and put them back up with a simple assembly and also i have made mine modded externally with LCT 9.5 inch keymod rail and the 13.5 inch rail is to larger and i have put a cyma railed dust cover and it has not affected the charging handle at all but do note the charging handle is flimsy and can be moved around and if to much force is applied im sure it would break not saying be gentle but dont rack it like a real firearm also the stock is used as battery space and has a lot of room not for mega batterys but large ones and ive shot 3000 rounds without my battery slowing down at all this gun lasts i also suggest that the 9.6v 1600 nimh battery's are the best for this gun in my opinion but about the barrel now it has 14mm ccw threads but the flash hider holds the inner barrel in place so if you plan to put a silencer on this make sure the silencer has a barrel holder on the inside otherwise it will not be possible to mount a silencer also if you would like to remove the orange its just held by one screw on the bottom is glued on and give it a twist and it will come off it has no threads and is just glued on to the barrel also if you would like to get a silencer i would suggest getting a thread adapter to see if it fits the barrel threads because some brands dont fit this barrel and some do and about the engine after shooting 3000 rounds and over i did not feel the motor get hot it was just slightly heated and i was shooting constantly at a indoor cqb so this gun will certainly last you overall this gun is extremely good and reliable and great for beginners even if you dont modify it but also if you do plan on modifying this rifle i have done extensive research and you can convert it to hpa and put a polarstar in it and can be tuned in all sorts of ways the only thing i do not suggest is changing the stock but you can change everything else and i really mean it when i say everything else and the best thing about this gun is its cheap and most indoor and outdoor fields will accept this rifle as it only shoots at 300 fps maybe a little more and if you want to change the spring to make it shoot harder its definitely possible but the attachments if spoken of i recommend for anyone who wishes to modify this aeg as they are quite affordable and fit perfectly in my opinion

"If my other review post disregard. I’m dumb. The battery is tricky but figured it out. This gun for the price is amazing!

"Had this ak for years!! Has outlasted anything I’ve bought XD! From my own experience playing outdoors, it goes a decent range with .20 or .25 bbs, truly a budget ak that lasts.
Pros:
.easy to customize
.8 pounds with no mag (I’ve replaced some parts with metal)
.takes a lot of different ak mags
.decent gearbox
.awesome pistol grip
.spacious battery space(I use nunchucks)
.great for new players
Doesn’t rust much because mostly plastic
Cons:
.she is a creaky lady(I kinda like tho?)
.my tip broke easy because I drop it on a rock(fixed with glue)
.butt of the stock comes off very easy(I’ve had to replace)
.no threaded barrel :(
.doesn’t come with goth gf

"Just from out of the box, shoots quite well and accurate with only a base iron sights. The hi-cap feeds well too. I bought a pair of mid-caps and they still function well with this AK.

"after about 30,000 rounds with a 9.6 NIMH and a 16TPA high tork (mind my spelling) motor it is still perfectly fine, it gets about 250ft of range and beams the whole way with a lubed barrel and 25s... but watever you do, dont put a 8.4 in this thing, thats just disrespectfull

"this thing is a beast! i have had it for a good while, and it still shreds like there's no tomorrow
PROS:
- nice ROF
- stings like hornets
- sturdy build (thanks cyma)
- when the hopup is how you want it, it will get 80rds with 25's
- great for spaming bullets
- there is a bunch of space in the stock for a battery
CONS:
- a little creeky (sounds worse than it is)
- it does not come with a free russian tank :(
whatever you do dont give it a 8.4 give it a 9.6 (way spammy)

"I got this gun in an open box mystery box and it does not disappoint! Thanks Evike.!

"Received my gun the other day and was quite impressed by it's feel and weight, This shoots hard and fast right out of the box. Doesn't come with a battery, I used a 9.6 v battery and it ripped up cardboard box's like there was no tomorrow. Mostly plastic external parts but I don't have a problem with this till I can upgrade them.,Stock, Lower receiver, Battery cover will be replaced. Might keep the gearbox the way it is, It works well enough. Nice starter worth upgrading.

"This is a good gun. I’ve put about 2500 rounds thru it so far with no issues. Thanks Evike !!!

"First time using it and got 2 kills with my second time going and super accurate. Super recommend it love the gun worth the money.

"As much as this gun is pushed aside as a cheap beginner's gun, it really impresses me! I've always known the AK47 for as long as I can remember, and M4s and similar guns just look ugly to me, so this was the obvious choice for me. It's cheap(comparatively), and as my other hobbies have taught, a metal gearbox is a must, even though I'm not the modder kind of guy.
Pros
VERY accurate, with both .20s and .25s
Easily adjustable hop-up
Amazing rate of fire(I estimate well above 5 rounds per second)
Velocity seems hotter than rated, the other reviewer's ratings of 400 FPS seem right
IT HURTS, or so I'm told. Like hornets. :D
Good overall heft, feels durable
Crisp trigger pull
Well balanced from front to back
Accessory rails are a plus, I don't have anything on it yet, but it's nice to have the option
The stock hi-cap mag feeds surprisingly well, it double-fired a few times early on, but that went away as I broke it and the gun in
Adjustable sights are nice, but I mostly leave them alone
Easy to unjam the gearbox, only 3 phillips screws to remove the motor(mine jammed due to a bad battery charger not charging the battery right)
Price is awesome(thanks Evike!)
It doesn't say it, but this gun DOES come with a cheap sling. And yes, it's pretty cheap. The webbing isn't terribly soft, but the metal clasps make it feel overall somewhat durable. The clasps are too small for the front sling mount. I ended up using a Magpul RLS sling, $20 on Amazon and way better.
Cons
Just a tiny bit creaky, but better than even top end Nerf guns. It's hardly noticeable, and if it really bugs you, you should've gotten a full metal gun
As the other reviewers noted, it is mildly annoying to have the entire front sight/barrel tip bright orange, but it's not too bad, it at least makes it easier to see against the environment when you're looking down the sight.
Dust cover is a little funky, but there's a trick to it. Instead of pushing it straight forward, underneath the latch, put the dust cover up to the body of the gun(butting against it) at an upwards angle, and then push it straight down ONTO the latch, without letting it slide back. Once it latches IT WILL BE SECURE.
No battery or charger included, but I'm not sure I would use them anyway even if they were included, given the BB wuality(see below)
Don't use the cheap CYMA BBs, get some quality Valken or Matrix match grade BBs. 0.20s will do the job, 0.25s are better.
Not a con, but do note that it ships with the hop up adjusted all the way down to the minimum!
Overall, a fantastic beginner primary, I highly recommend it!

"If you're looking for your first airsoft gun and you're wanting an AK platform then this is the gun for you.
This was my first gun getting into airsoft and it's been nothing but perfect. FPS with .20g bbs was upwards of 430, though I wouldn't recommend anything less than .25g.
The gun is sturdy and feels great in your hands, the magazine it comes with is more than sufficient at 400 round capacity. I would get a 9.6V small brick type battery for it as well because it does NOT come with a battery or charger.
If you're on a pretty tight budget like I was getting my first gun I would say this is the one, if you don't mind spending the extra money I would recommend the one with more metal externals.
Great buy! Highly recommended.

"YOU CANNOT BEAT THIS FOR THE PRICE.
The performance out of the box is absolutely phenomenal. Compared to other entry level guns I have used in the past ( G&G CQB Raider/Echo 1 AK RIS/G&G GR16/Echo1 Commando ) This thing puts all the others to shame in terms of performance per dollar.
Considering a Raider will run you 60-70+ more than this cost, this is the way to go.
