"This is a great gun it is sitting I front of me as I wright this veery heavy duty but it weighs a good bit though. I would highly recommend this gun for anyone ho wants to build a dmr that won’t cost $450 Note: This gun uses a small Tamiya connector and I would also like to say that if you are going to buy this gun buy the version that has the metal receiver and do read the entire description because there is some very important information in the discription

"I recently bought this in store at Evike Houston!
it has an excellent realistic weight. the magazine has a satisfying click when inserted. (no wobble)
it shoots straight as an arrow at least 75 feet away with .30 bb's out the box. i managed to get a 3-9 x 40 scope on it, sighted it in and the whole squad enjoyed using it in skirmishes. the integrated flip up sights are amazing as well!
excellent DMR build, and the full auto function is an added plus.

only complaint is there is no front sling mount

love this gun ! you should buy it

"Buy this gun, it comes just as you expect it to come. Upgrades you will need are a full steel tooth piston and m140-m130 Spring.

"Ok if your thinking of buying this gun but aren’t sure I will tell you the answer. BUY IT!!! I bought the full metal version and it is amazing! Shoots incredibly far and has pinpoint accuracy! I can hit 70-80 yards accurately very easy! All around this gun is amazing! The only problem was the dust cover for the gear box wouldn’t open but once you get it open you won’t need to adjust the hop up once you get it. So please if you want to have a good long range gun, buy this!

"Great gun so far.
Accurate within 50 yards.
Hits hard.
Mock silencer is loose
Mag is good
THIS HAS A LARGE TYPE CONNECTOR FOR THE BATTERY(I converted mine to small type)

"This was the first real airsoft gun I'd bought and it's a very nice rifle. The weight is really nice and it's very accurate up to ~70-ish yards. The charging handle is a little flimsy but not to the point it would break or anything. The mag that comes in the package is definitely not recommended, buy some polymer mid-caps instead. Lot's of possibility for modding and the gun coming with a KAC-style vertical grip is a nice bonus. Definitely a worth-while gun.

"This gun is not for people who like to upgrade their internals, it's for people who like to just the gun as is out of the box. If you're looking for a no-work, ready to play gun, then yes it's a great deal. If you're an upgrader, I would probably recommend something more expensive and modular. This CAN be upgraded, but it will take some extra work.

The good:
-DMR under $200, GREAT deal!
-Chrono'd 380 out of the box with .30
-Surprisingly accurate, and the stock Hop Up is better than expected.
-Nice weight, feels realistic (it's on the heavy side so could be a con if you want lightweight)
-Plenty of rail space for attachments
-I'm satisfied with how it shoots without feeling a need to upgrade internals.

The bad:
It's a bit loud, not a sneaky gun.
Ejection cover doesn't open when you rack the bolt. Almost all AEGs open when you rack the bolt, so why be so weird?
The mag that came with the gun does not feed well, dry fires every 4 or 5 shots. Will have to troubleshoot. Planning on buying a different mag and going from there.
Another reviewer said the internals do not take advantage of the extended gearbox shell, and it was difficult to upgrade, so that's a bummer.

Overall, if you want to save money and get a gun that slaps but might take a little bit of work to perfect, I recommend. If money is no object and you want to sidestep the cons, spring for something more expensive.

"it's alright.

PROS
- it's a full metal sr25/7.62 ar platform under 200 bucks. what more can you ask for?
- a true sr25 unlike the g&g version
- uses a standard v2 hopup
- very hefty, has great weight. with scope comes in at 9 lbs
- ball bearings in gb shell
- receiver has a selector switch limiter built-in, so all you have to do to semi lock it is switch out the selector switch to a standard v2 (the included one has a notch to allow full auto)
- stock is nice and spacious, has qd sling points for single point sling
- mock suppressor ready

CONS
- the dust cover is magnetic and isn't designed to open when you rack the charging handle. i was peeved by this and modified mine so it could open when you racked the charging handle
- the gb shell is a fake v2.5 like the echo1 er25, meaning it has normal v2 parts and an extended cylinder head. you get no air volume advantage over a standard v2. so basically it's a v2 gb hiding inside an extended v2.5. i modified my shell to use a g&g l85 cylinder and shs 19-tooth piston with an sr25 gearset, but it took a lot of work
- no quick change spring is a PAIN. stuffing an sp150 spring into it is an absolute chore. the spring guide itself is plastic, so i changed it out for a guarder one
- for some reason it only has one regular sling point and two qd sling points on the stock. there are no sling points in the front, which defeats the point of having sling points in the first place
- magwell is an absolute pain in the spinal column. it's way too tight even for its own mag. i stripped the receivers apart and took a dremel to the magwell and only then was it able to fit even its own included hi cap. because of this it's very picky with mags, so forget trying to use a&k mags
- the rail is ridiculous to take off. in fact, it literally can't be removed, so don't try
- the mag release straight up sucks. it has the tendency to get stuck inside the receiver when you eject the mag, forcing you to get it unstuck before inserting a new mag

TL;DR - not saying i regret this purchase, but this thing needed a LOT of man hours to get it where i wanted it. although it's a very affordable base, i would definitely recommend the cyma qbs sr25 if you value quick-change springs. the fake v2.5 gb shell was also a disappointment. still, if you're interested in buying, you won't regret it. it's a great base for an sr25 dmr or 7.62 battle rifle build

"Actually a rly nice gun. Decently solid body. I put shims in between my upper and lower to stop the wiggle. But solid gun. Shoots far and decently accurate. A great base gun for sure

"Decent gun shoots about 375 FPS. Very heavy. Shoots accurately
by Ian M. on 05/30/2020
"It's the best dmr for the money. Ofcourse it's not the best compared to hpa or fully upgraded guns but this is the best platform to build off of! The one and only problem is the upper receiver is a bit loose and wobbly but other than that it's perfect!!!

"I. Got this used from a buddy. Never fieled. Use for back yard plincking and i got it and. I did a simple. Complete gearbox check. It was all good and with a little mod to the hopup. And .30gram bbs I get 350 feet.@395 fps Accurately. It has become my brothers favorite gun. And has been. Fielded twice a month. Since the begining of the year. And its still good. Its silencer. Will be super hard to. Foam fill. And mag compatablity is a pain. But its very nice long range gun if u take the time

"This gun works great. I can pull off 60-65 yard shots consistently. I have two recommendations for this gun. 1-Get the matrix aluminium piston if you are going to run lipo batteries.(mine got chewed up and i got plastic in my gears. 2-bypass the fuse, the PCB board that thew fuse connects to went bad after a week. Apart from those two things, the gun works great and would be a awesome platform for a good dmr build.
