"One of the best guns i've ever had. Never had a single issue.

"I bought this to get a dmr type weapon for my collection and I wanted something other than an sr-25 or long barrel m4. So far i have been really enjoying the rifle, shoots far and straight enough for the job.

Pros:
- The bullpup design allows for a really long inner barrel, about 630mm, and it does go through most of the mock suppressor. This gives it a higher fps and I chrono'd around 400 fps average with .25g bbs
- Lots of mlok and pic rail space for optics and accessories on the foregrip, a direct upgrade to the 'regular' svu
- If you wanted to, theres also a side mount for other ak accessories like a pso-1 style scope. There a cover that can be removed after removing some allen key screws
- Heavy weight makes the gun feel sturdy, but can be unwieldy. 8.8 pounds is quite hefty
- Select fire, semi or full auto

Cons:
- Bullpup design does have drawbacks, mostly ergonomic: magazine being the rock and lock with the bullpup design is cumbersome, but doable
- Very low sight clearance, another downside of the bullpup setup is that there isnt really a stock, just the receiver right on your cheek, so its flat along the top pic rail. This means you need a riser for pretty much any optic if you use a lower face mask. The built in sights arent much better, but they fold away nice at least.
- Magazine compatibility, this works with SVD mags since this is a bullpup'd svd, but theres apparently another svd style magazine pattern out there that does not fit in correctly due to design differences, so be careful. The extras i bought were found here: https://www.evike.com/products/37655/. The mags this gun uses have the bbs come out towards the middle of the mag, not the front
- No battery space at all. The only way you are getting power to this thing is with a small rectangular shaped battery inside a mock peq box mounted somewhere on the front, or some other form of creativity. The gun is wired to the front with a small tamaya connector.

Most of the cons i feel are due to the bullpup design (needing a riser for optics, no battery space, reloads being awkward), but if you can get over that this is a great gun to pick up, especially if you wanted a bullpup dmr

Also, this could just be me being unlucky, but the gun came in with the gears inside locked up and would not fire. Had to get a local tech to replace the gear set, but once that was fixed the gun has since ran flawlessly.

"Absolutely love this rifle. Have had no issues whatsoever after six months. Fit and finish is beyond my expectations. Running a PEQ 7.4 lipo to avoid fitment issues I have read about, honestly can't see how anyone could fit a battery in the hand guard. Dead on at 60 yards with 3.0s.

Pros
Everything

Cons
I don't have the black one to make a set.....yet
Mags seems to empty way too fast
Oh....and my neighbor yelled at me because of all the ricochets.

"Do you know what an artist and a sniper have in common? Details. Like when a touch of color is out of place. When a shadow does not match with its surroundings. Or when a shape is not where it is supposed to be. The only difference is the stakes. Mine are higher.

"First off, this thing is great. I got it for $200 and I don't regret it at all.

I play in North Texas, 2 fields here require DMRs to shoot at no more than 450FPS and have a bipod and scope. This came shooting at 460ish, but after a few mags it dropped to shoot perfectly at 450FPS, all with .20s. It comes with a bipod and the Matrix PSO-1 fits it perfectly. I have since sighted it in and switched to .25s, I was nailing people peeking over boxes at 100 yards. It felt good being able to hit players that thought they were so far no one could hit them.

I will warn, the mid caps for this gun (required for DMRs at my field) are out of stock on literally any airsoft site you look, and you have to buy them from China on Ebay for around 20 bucks per mag. The bipod on this thing is only secured in the "undeployed" version but a not-so-resistant little "clamp". Basically the bipod will try to deploy on its own sometimes.

There's also nowhere to connect a sling, and I'm not sure if there are compatible attachments to allow the use of slings. I just got a 3 point sling and secured it around the stock and gas tube, works just fine even with the optic on.

I've had no feeding issues or weird problems. The only thing is that the battery is inside the hand guard, which is held closed by a piece of metal on the front. That can be finicky sometimes to take off.

All in all, amazing gun for the price, the first time I took it out I had several people go "that gun's weird, what is it?". It has excellent range and accuracy right out of the box. Mid caps are somewhat of a pain to get but that's my only gripe. If you're on the fence, I recommend this.

"this gun is amazing out of the box. shoot far and accurate with .25g bbs. loading the battery takes a couple of time of getting use to, just follow instruction on youtube. the handle and the stock are kind of wonky' because of its bullpup nature but i got use to it. horizontal hop up wheel roll forward to hop. for sling, i got a stock sling trap from amazon. i remove the cheek rest, strap it behind mag release area and place the cheek rest back. i recommend using this single point sling and do not use the barrel sling mount. NOTE: do not buy the A&K 200rds hi-cap mag on Evike, you will receive a 190rds mid-cap for bolt action, it will not fit and you will pay for return shipping.

"Excellent rifle, well made, very accurate. there are three things I dont like are the battery compartment is in a weird spot, not texture or rubber on pistol grip, and no rubber on buttpad (it kept slipping when i shouldered it). for the first its minor enough that it doesn't matter (its only annoying to insert and remove battery, other then that no issues). for the other 2, attaching rubber or wearing rubber palm gloves work.

This has Timur Glazkov's seal of approval

"this gun is amazing, shoots 420 fps for me out of the box.
super accurate, hop up is amazing, feeds perfectly.
nobody has this gun, and nobody knows how to fix it or anything, so take apart and modify at your own risk.

"Got this rifle a few days ago and I will say I am fairly pleased with it. I was looking for an svd style rifle and this one just caught my eye and it was on sale so I snatched it up. overall the gun is worth the price but there are a few quirks with it.

This thing is all steel pretty much except for the furniture Which is a Decent quality polymer. and when I say steel I mean the beefy stuff not the flimsy pot metal. having said that it weighs a ton, around 11 pounds. overall external quality is well worth the money and I would rate it 5/5 dead sexy

*My one gripe is the grip is really blocky where the web of your hand rests so without gloves it can get uncomfortable quick.*

This gun shoots pretty far stock, mine clocked in at 418-425 fps with .20 bb's . At 50 yards I could hit a head size target 9/10 times and a man sized at 65yards 9/10. It can definitely reach much farther with a tight bore and flathop Which i will be adding soon. This gun does double feed sometimes just like some other svd's so beware of that. Also the hop unit on the one I received was so stiff i had to use a screwdriver to adjust it Idk if this was a defect or if this happens a lot.

Inside you will find a Cyma svd hop unit, a 650mm cyma factory barrel, and you guessed it a Cyma T3 clone gearbox full of green snot grease. After clearing said snot the gearbox actually is pretty decent quality and has good air seal so that is a plus. it is a pain in the bum to take apart.
*WARNING DO NOT USE FULL AUTO ON THIS GUN*
I tryed it for lolz and it locked up the gearbox and made a horrid noise. nothing broke but thats why i had to take it apart so soon.

Hope this helps.

"In my opinion, this is a great gun, it's reliable, the magazines feed well.

Pros:
Reliability

Mags feed well in

Easy to adjust the hop up

Barely any missfeeds

Good Weight

Range

Metal components and high strength polymer.

Cons: The flip up sight is good if you only have goggles or glasses on.
If you have a mesh mask like me, it will be really difficult, nearly impossible to aim with the flip up sights. I highly recommend getting the PSO-1 scope but if you're on a bit of a tighter budget, get a rail mount and an optic, don't forget a BB shield or just get some high quality plexiglass.

"Overall very happy with this gun. Just played my first game with it and it was punching through the brush and shooting on point no problem.

Cronos about 401-406 with .25g

Overall seems a rugged gun. Though a bit heavy my wrist was hurting a little by the end of the day. Only has 1 sling mount in the front but I plan on looping a sling around the but stock. Hopefully will work just fine.

Big con is the hi cap mag doesn't feed very well often have miss fires. CYMA mid caps not currently in stock and not compatible with other mags. Also they are an odd shape my be hard too find mag pouches, iv only just begun my search.

I plan on upgrading the internals but overall very happy with the performance outa the box. Especially at $200.

"To start off, I am a marksman. I use any western 7.62 style platform (and have owned almost every 5.56x45 and 7.62x51 airsoft platform on the market, well over 200 rifles) and have NEVER owned any Russian weapon system before I bought the SVU. I am now converting to 7.62x39 and 7.62x54 replicas. After seeing this rifle in person, I decided to purchase it. My first impressions were very positive. Great quality metal, good finish, not too heavy, and very comfortable to hold. Disassembly is also really, really easy! The battery compartment will fit stick type batteries. I used an 11.1v 1600mAh battery and it fit just fine. No fuss at all getting it in or out. Out of the box, it consistently (and I mean 8/10) shoots 428FPS with .20g BB's equivalent to 328 with .32g BB's. The compression is very good making for precise shot to shot consistency. Stock everything using .32g BB's I was able to shoot out to 200' with no problem. Very impressive and especially at that price point. The AEG internals were very nice, chrome cylinder, steel ball bearing spring guide, M140 spring, very strong motor, and overall just great stock parts. I purchased with the intention to convert it to HPA and I did within a few weeks. Now equipped with evike's great $160 PSO-1 scope, a Hydra Gen2, and a lapped ZCI 6.02 x 455 R-Hopped barrel, I can reach out to 275' with only .32g BB's. Absolutely mind blowing. Not to mention, its as long as a CQB M4! All Glaz jokes aside, this rifle is my baby and I couldn't recommend it enough. Compact, Built-In Bipod, Lightweight, Built in Suppressor, Flip-up Sights, what more could you want?! I would buy one before it goes out of stock, if it does. Functional and Beautiful. 11/10.
