"This is a very good gun. Externals are amazing.

Gun is all metal where it has to be the plastic parts are the hand guard and stock just like the real M4.
The metal is itself amazing you have to feel the finish I can't even describe it. The trademarks look sick.

The hand guard has inside covers so you don't see through the holes, so if you got a battery inside you can't see it thorough the hand guard holes. CA does not do that. Its a nice touch shows that G&P took their time with their gun.

ROF and FPS are great. FPS is very powerful goes through a coce can bottom with out a problem.
Now the ROF, I use a 9.6 intellect mini is freaking great it shoots faster than my A&K m249 no joke FPS is sick and this gun is lipo ready so imagine the ROF with a lipo if it does this with a 9.6.

Now for CON: Its not really that of a big deal, but the flash hider is plastic. CA is metal on a gun like this they put a piece of crap plastic flash hider.

Second CON: I have is with EVIKE quality control. The gun came brand new but the stupid plastic flash hider came crushed. It looked like someone stepped on it. I had a spare metal flash hider so I just put it on.

But EVIKE whats the deal selling me a 270 gun with a crushed flash hider why didn't anyone check?

So besides the flash hider this is the best m4 you can get. I have many airsoft guns this one is the best by far.

"I received this gun today... It's amazing. I'm impressed with G&P.

Pros:

The Body is a strong metal, not sure what type, but it's strong. Mag, charging handle, buffer tube, dust cover, trigger, trigger guard, top rail, carrying handle and barrel are all metal.
Accuracy is amazing. I can hit a apple from 100 ft 9 out of 10 times. Hit a human from a MAX of 200 ft with Hop 7 out of 10 times (On Semi).
Durability: It's not breaking anytime soon.

Cons: The stock has a slight wobble but it doesn't bother me.
The charging handle doesn't feel too strong... but I don't abuse my guns, so it shouldn't be a problem.
It is kinda pricey...total of 350$ with battery and charger. But thanks to Evike's 15% off coupon, i saved just about 60$ dollars!

Overall: G&P has impressed me. I've never had a G&P, but I'm in love. The ROF is 29 BBs a second. combined that with the accuracy and range... I wouldn't want to be in range of this M4. 9/10 (In my mind, it's 10).

"i love my g&p m4a1, very accurate and look so real with very cool logo, this is my first gun but i figured that the picture in the website is not accurate because i saw that there is a nice dust cover and mine doesn't have one, but that's ok i know i pick the one of the best.. highly recomended!

"This is a good gun, it has a very fast rof, and a good fps. The only problem i have with it is the stock and mags. The mags are pretty bad, they dont feed fully because of the spring being to small. The mag is cheap and im buying another stock for it. But over all its a good gun. You just have to buy a better mag and change the stock since it does wobble.

"I got this model and must say that I am VERY PLEASED with it thus far. It is constructed of all metal and is very sturdy. The only exception is the stock which is the only wobbly part but is very loose and unstable. Mine but pretty quickly so I taped it and it's good now. The other problem I have is the mag well is a little too big for the mid caps I got but that's easily fixed by some electric taper around the top of the mags.

It performs flawlessly with a good ROF (900 rps or so) and around 400 fps. It's perfect for use longer than cqb but not quite good enough for sniping without an extended tight-bore barrel.

The trademarks are amazing. there are some on both sides of the mag well as well as a smaller one underneath the carrying handle. The trademark on the right side of the gun with the skull that's not shown clearly in the page says "God will judge our enemies, We'll arrange the meeting" which I thought was extraordinarily BA.

I would suggest getting rails for this gun as well as using an external battery box as the space for the battery within the hand guard is pretty cramped. As far as internal upgrades goes I wouldn't worry about it because G&P is known for having the best stock gearboxes on the market and they won't give up on you for a LONG time.

I highly suggest this gun to anyone who's looking for a strong, mid range aeg that will keep performing flawlessly for years

"I have the USMC model, but it is the same as this model, just different logo.

This is probably one of the best M4 I have ever used! (Much better than Classic Army or any other Chinese clone by far).

Initial Look & Feel: Solid, Realistic, Good Weight, Very Detailed. Its day and night compare to a Chinese Clone.

Performance: Very smooth firing, no skipping AT ALL! Works with my other JG magazines and drum mags. Chrono at 409 FPS.

From my experience as a tech, G&P also have the best motor and the most reliable gear sets. This AEG has a 7mm gearbox, metal bushing.

Conclusion: I have shot many m4 and we have a big team (156 players). If you are looking for a m4 Carbine model, this is your AEG. It cannot get better unless you go buy the Systema PTW. Which is a mix opinion (due to compatibility issues) and its $1000 more.

"When I received this AEG the BBs would curve straight down after 50ft. I pulled it apart and found that the nub was a bit too wide for the barrel and the hop up bucking was super greasy. I went and bought a new hop up bucking with nub and replaced it. The gun shoots great now. Shipping fell just inside of the promised time. Good ROF good range. The gun seems to be built well and durable. Crane stock has great storage configuration for battery. Hop up adjusts with a slight dead spot but works well. This gun is well worth the money. I will replace the barrel with a tight bore and call it good for what I wanted.

I would recommend this gun to anyone playing outdoor, and with a spring change it would be great at 350FPS too!!

4 stars because out of the box it needed the bucking cleaned at least. (again, I replaced it and the gun shoots great)

"Good gun for price. I give it a 4/5. The mag isn't that good so i recommend buying another and trashing the first that came with the box

Pros:
Good fire rate
GREAT fps
Cool-looking
Great for milsims

Cons:
Mag sucks
Accuracy isn't good with .20 bbs
When you take out mag for fixing 4 bbs drop and those just become 4 wasted bbs( it doesn't sound like alot but if you do it like 15 times, like i did on the field because the mag sucks, it just wastes ammo)
by Colton S. on 09/19/2014
"Great gun shoots hard and fast with 7.4v lipo battery the only problem I had with it was the battery compartment in the handguard, the D ring is hard to pull I actually ended up braking the hand guard trying to get it in.
by Jodi W. on 02/16/2014
"All and all this is a great gun for the price their was a few problems with it though.
CONS
1. Every once and a wile it had a tendency to shoot fully auto tell it emptied a 90rnd mag
2. Out of the box it seemed like every other BB shot dropped 150 FPS
3. it's scratch is really easy
PROS
1.perfect weight.
2. It's only 224$
3. Wierd to handguard(con to some)
4. Wierd with small tamyia(con to some)
5. Laser engraved seal logo
6. Gun can shoot far

"So I got this one as a daily deal and I have to say I am very impressed. Right out of the box it has a very rugged, very reliable feel. The front hand guards do feel a bit cheap (I have a G&G M4 with full metal RIS so I'm used to having metal up front) but they still seem sturdy enough to take some punishment. The gun itself is very accurate, I was regularly hitting targets up to ~150 feet away with no trouble. The only down side I have had is that my gun shoots right about 415-420 fps, which is too hot for the field I usually play on. I plan on running a few mags of BBs through it to wear down the spring a little bit before putting it into regular use. Other than that, the dust cover is non-operable, which isn't really a big deal, plus, to access the hop up you have to slide the "bolt" back anyway. The only other negative I can think of is that (as other people have mentioned) it's kind of hard to get to the hop up and the "bolt" doesn't realyl side back forward easily (tapping the charging handle forward gets it done, though). Over all it is an amazing gun that I am glad I picked up!

The package deal is great, it comes with a very nice charger and 9.6v 1600mAh battery that can fit right into the crane stock and 8 mags (in addition to a mid-cap already included with the gun). The mags that come in the package seem kind of cheap but they'll get the job done.

This package deal is a great buy for anyone looking to get into airsoft, G&P makes some high quality stuff (and i can safely say that after using this gun!) and you won't be disappointed! It is a very sturdy weapon that I can definitely recommend.

Pros:
Weight, feel, and reliability of the gun
Price for the package is great!
Battery, charger, and mags included are great for this gun
Shoots a little hot (great for a DMR setup)

Cons:
The front handguard feels a bit weak (easily replaceable)
Shoots a little hot (not so great on fields which limit your fps)

"The G and P 281 M4 is a good gun.
Pros
1. Has a great rate of fire, around 1000-1200 with a 9.6v.
2. Has a good heavy solid feel.
3. Long range roe an assault rifle.
4. I can add rails because it is weird to the stalk.

Cons and things you should know.
1. the dust cover will not close far enough to latch. There is no way to get around that, I tried. But if you think about it, on the real M4 it would be open if you were firing it.
2. The battery connector is a beans connector. if you want to use the typical Ni-Mh connector you will need to get a transition for a few bucks on Evke.

Great gun. I love it.

"I got this a gun not to long ago and i love it. For the price you pay it is more than worth it. good rof, good feel, it has never broken on me, very easy to upgrade.
Only problems are the stock smashes your battery cord, hop up has some problems, not as accurate as i would like.(but that is fixable)
Overall (BUY THIS GUN).

"The gun is awesome(when it worked)
When i first got it, it didnt work. The battery was fully charged and nothing seemed wrong.i worked for a total of 12 HOURS working on the internals. I dont know still what was wrong, but it works fine now.

Pros:
Shoots hard
Good fps ( for field )
Great externals
Looks awesome
Good weight
Realistic

Cons:
Paint chips kinda easily
Stock is tight on the buffer tube, so its hard to adjust, but no wobble

Awesome overall though! Get it

"Great gun for the price. Came broken on arrival first time, but once fixed the gun does amazing. Very sturdy metal body and great feel like any other G&P product. FPS was pretty good out of the box (365-375). Extremely accurate even for a stock barrel. ROF is absolutely ridiculous with a 9.6v deans. The gun handles very well in the field and is great for someone looking to come up to a mid range-high end gun.

Pros:

Very solid and high quality body
Good FPS for any field
Accurate

Cons:

Hop up chamber bit hard to keep open & adjust
Hop up hard to get the "sweet spot"
Dust cover does not close
