"So for starters, not going to lie I accidently bought this scar thinking it was a different one. Getting that out of the way, this gun is lightweight which is nice but it’s only because of the somehwhat cheap feeling poly/plastic receiver. When running around with it all feels sturdy but not sure if it’s rugged enough to take any damage from dropping it or smacking it into things. I like the battery compartment. It has a lot of space and the stock is able to extend and contract as it may please. I have an m4 that doesn’t allow me to really do that due to tight space for battery. The selector switch isn’t ambidexterous unlike the other scars evike sells. Does have nice marking of FN Herstal. It’s weird but the muzzle at the end of this rifle is huge. Not sure if that is normal but the orange tips at the end of other scars aren’t that big. You can still take it off and put on a muzzle of your own. I had fun using it in CGC. But it definitely lacks in any sort of accuracy at long range. It does shoot roughly 368 fps out of the box so I would recommend upgrading parts or getting a different gun if you want more fps out of the box. The biggest problems I have with the gun is feeding issues with my stanag elite force mags. Towards the end or last ten bbs the gun has trouble feeding into the gun. So at least you know you’re running low. Obviously not intention for it to do that but that’s a problem I ran into. On top of that there is a spring that is supposed to protect the wires that go into the stock when you fold the stock. It’s supposed to protect it from linking and severing the wires but ends up failing that job somewhat. Idk how it failed it’s job but the spring cooled a little bit out of the stock and I almost crushed or severed a wire when unfolding the stock. So be very careful when folding and unfolding the stock. The spring now looks a little warped from me unfolding and folding the stock. To end on a good note, the trigger feels good and pretty snappy. I used a 11.1 V and I probably wouldn’t use anything less. So I would recommend this gun to anyone who is doing backyard play or possibly just wants a cheaper replica for cosplay. This maybe a good starter gun for kids who want a gun like this since it’s only a measly 4 lbs. I personally wouldn’t sink a lot of money into upgrading this scar. For the price I would expect better internals and quality feeling. For $60 more you can get a metal one. But probably same quality of internals. I am currently selling mine and getting an Cybergun Ares Scar L. And will most likely sink money into upgrading it.

"I couldn't say much about the performance, other than it was okay. What broke it for me about this gun was its lightweight build and low rate of fire. For 200 dollars, i would recommend looking for a different gun. However if you're certain you like this one, it isn't a bad decision.

"this gun is very okay
pros: rof is descent with 9.6 nimh
trigger response is grindy but okay
weighs like 4 pounds
folding stock is neat
cons: its made of a cheap abs plastic and feels wobbly and it flexes
kinda inaccurate (every 4 or 5 shots the bb goes completely off target)
easy to break
hop up is very loose
all in all get the cyma one its 10 bucks more plus u get the same internals and a metal upper however if u plan on just running it indoors i guess u could get it for the lightweight. but if u play outdoors with this and lets say you fall down, you will have a gun that is in two pieces. for a more in depth review go to Trifecta airsoft on youtube they did a review on it.
