WE-Tech Hi-CAPA Airsoft Gas Blowback Pistol (Model: 5.1 P14 / Black / Green Gas)

"well first, i loved the gun out of the box, it had weight which is good in some cases, the mag did fairly well, but the only bad part is the hop up system sucked for me, after 30 feet it would just go up no matter what the hop up was. so i mean i wold just pay the money to get it fixed cuz other wise its amazing, for the 30 feet that goes straight, it is pretty accurate

"this gun can take co2 or green gas. green gas is alot better. but co2 is alot stonger. u can buy green gas here at evike. and co2 at any walmart.

"Wait is the safety really ambidextrous? one of the pictures of the right side of the slide doesn't look like there's a cut in the slide for it to push up into?

"I bought this gun because I needed to clear building. first day on the field (also first time firing it) I learn that despite having a 28 round magazine I only get 4 shots before I run out of green gas. didnt know if it was the mag or not so I pulled out the spare mag. filled it with green gas, STILL only fired 4 bbs.

other than the fact that I can only fire 4 bbs this is a good pistol, I had one of my friends shoot me for a pain test and it left a mark that lasted a week. the range is moderate at about 50ft maybe a bit more if I really zone in that hop-up.

so its a good gun but I need to figure out why the mag is only shooting 4 rounds

"Maybe buyer's remorse but I wished I had paid more to get a TM Hi-Capa as the slide on the WE Tech jams frequently. I have to hit the back of the slide forward and up to get the slide move. This seems to be a common problem for the WE. Even though I haven't used a TM I've heard good things about it. I don't think the jamming problem I'm having with the WE Tech is worth the difference in price. Especially when I play with the pistol as a primary/only weapon and not as just a sidearm.

The pistol does shoot with propane the same as it does with green gas so that's a huge plus as propane is a lot cheaper. (I used 3 cans of green gas before I even tried using propane. The jamming started with the first can of green gas and within the first 300 rounds). I've read that the TM's plastic slide needs to be replaced or will need to be replaced sooner if you use green gas/propane as the TM is designed to use lower pressure duster gas. Even factoring in the cost of a new metal slide, I think a TM would be the better choice.

I do still use green gas during the last couple of games to flush the propane smell out of the gun and mags and to make extra sure that everything is lubed.

Will never, EVER purchase a WE gun again.

"Awful. went to take off orange flash hider, after that, the gun decided to let the INNER barrel go out farther than the slide, as well as the spring rod. gun won't shoot now. the slide goes too far back to let the hammer hit. terrible quality on the internals.
