Shadow Op MB01 Type96 MK96 APS-2 Airsoft Bolt Action Sniper Rifle (Color: Black / Add 3-9x40 Scope + Bipod)

"this is a very good gun. mine took a while to get here (lkie 10 days) but this was easily understandeable as it was over thanksgiving and it was ordered over the weekend before. but another thing i encountered was that my bbs, which were .25 grams, were curving to the left and going up as well after about 50 feet. i easily fixed this after about a month of thinking i needed heavier bbs: the hop up was in the barrel at an angle so that it put spin on the right side of the bb, not the top. i then took the gun apart and, with a screwdriver i used as a lever, put the hole for the allen key in the moddle of the surrounding oval. after that, i tested the gun and it works like new.

PROS:
good FPS
Color blends well with forest where i airsoft
durable; solid feel.
very good accuracy and bbs usually travel about 200 feet before descending to th ground
barrel is very rust proof; i was airsofting in snow and accidently shoved the barrel into a packed in snow bank and it still shoots fine

CONS:
mine came with a bad hop up; however this is easily fixeable
a bit heavy; not a gun you want to be a hit and runner with
low cap mags, i would recommend getting more mags which can be found here
no iron sights, you must buy a scope to be accurate
included sling is very low quality; save it for a lighter gun as the clippy things bend with this guns weight

is expensive and useless in cqb and low fps fields

despite all the cons a very good gun for sniping, however if you dont have the kind of money to afford thid gun i would recommend the Super 9 by UHC, it comes with iron sights, is lighter and is only a fraction of a second slower in FPS standards

The accuracy when I got mine wasn't very good and the leapers 4 by 32 scope I got can't be zeroed to it very well. I can shoot it straight with .25 with out a scope and after months of trying to get the scope right and $50 for a new tightbore barrel and still doesn't shoot right with my scope so I just put it on my m4 and have a red dot on this which is pretty good. The place where you put the bi pod in and it locks into place was pot metal on mine and broke after a week of use and the abs plastic is very strong but the seam on the bottom of mine is starting to seperate but the spare mag is nice and bi pod adapter and bi pod weigh about 1-2 pounds and make it feel unbalanced and harder to aim. Still a great gun. Must get if you want a cool looking sniper or a .50 cal and accurate if you don't use the scope

"Very nice gun actually. What i really like about it is the professional feel with this rifle. It weighs a hefty 9 pounds or so. I cant get enough of using it on the field.

Now of course the bad stuff.
VERY HARD GUN to get the hop up just right so. If your hop up is off you'll get good accuracy for at least 1/2 the range it's supposed to fire. To much hop, and your bb is going into the clouds. It has to be just so that the bb can fly strait and get a good range. What i recommend is working the hop at least once a game. That way, you can insure your accuracy is good.

Oh yea, Use .23 or .20. If your daring use a .25. anything higher, the range and fps will be below average

"If you're looking for a great sniper rifle, look no further. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or an intermediate player at airsoft, this weapon will rock your world (until you break it). The FPS on mine is above 450 and the range is about 175 feet. The only thing I stress about this gun is that you need to take care of it. Constant lubing of the bolt slide and internals will give you grief, but once you have done it enough you will be able to upgrade and lube it without difficulty. The only things I would have changed would be better construction, flip up iron sights, and better mags. But overall I love mine and I would totally recommend it.

"I just got this gun today.

Pros
The whole gun is amazing.
Evike is great on shipping items fast.
Buy the scope and bi-pod. (its worth the money!)

Cons
The magazine sometimes has issues going in the slot, but not that great of a problem.
The bi-pod is wobbly, and takes awhile to set up.
Somewhat heavy gun, but can't really complain, heavy wight is better. :)
The scope is on back-order, but not much of a problem really.

Overall
It is a great gun, and worth buying.

"yea dude this sniper rifle is the bomb but u need to order the scope to go with it on eof mu friends bought one of these a little bit ago ive tried it out and it is awesome it is very accurate but u need to adjust the hop up to were u think it is......................this is not a joke this gun is awesome so to everyone whos thinking about buying this weapon but ur not sure read this get it and u will love .................................. P.S. it is also a lot better if you would also get the bipod but that is just my opinion

"Max...ive had this gun for a lil over a year and if you want to be a good sniper be repaired to spend some money. this gun come stock with a decent fps but the barrel aint so great, its a unlikely that you will hit your target at that range, what you should do is get a TB barrel. it will raise your fps +15-20 and help your accuracy alot. i use super grand masters .29 bbs there a lil on the expensive side but they're worth it.

"I got this gun last week, over all its a very powerful gun, the only thing i want to say is about the mag, it said the mag can hold 30 bbs, but it only works well when u put 15-20 bbs. i try both mag, they have the same problems, which is if u put more then 20 bbs, the mag wont push up the bbs. but if u want play as a sniper, this is not a big problem.
so, over all, its a powerful gun.

"Just got this rifle and i love it, its not the best one on the market, But it is a hell of a good buy.
Its accurate, its got a decent weight, feels and handles great. Plus, i just love cycling the bolt...and listening to my friends complain when i shoot em with it

Pros:
Good FPS for a sniper
Decent Scope that can easily be adjusted
If you tap in the scope it can be very accurate.

Cons:
HEAVY
Scope makes the gun very top heavy (keep that in mind when you set the gun down)
The bolt-action can easily be jammed (and I take good care of my gun/lub it)
Some bolts can become loose here and there.

Overall: Great gun for beginners to seasoned snipers looking for a new gun.

"This gun is pretty good. My friend got this and i have used it in a few firefights. Nothing too serious just some local skirmishes. The accuracy is really good, and it has a sweet look. The build is rock solid and tons of metal and heavy duty plastic. The additional mag is nice considering the mag only hold 30 rounds. Not a bad mag capacity but you might want that additional mag(included) for some long all day airsofting. The bolt is so smooth it is unbelievable, it feels like it is freshly lubed even after weeks without lube. Range is decent for a sniper rifle, however you may want to have some sort of sidearm. I recommend either an mp5k or an sd88s shotgun. The only reason that a sidearm might be useful is that the bolt action limits the rof to only around 25 or 30 rpm even when you practice the manuver. Overall this is an ok gun, worth the money is you want to function as a sniper for your squad, but a side arm might come in help in some hot situations.
