"The best bb for these guns are probably the 0.23g matrix since it shoots 360 fps. A high cap magazine is included with all the JG guns

"THIS GUN IS THE SH*T OMG ive had it for a year and just like the guy below me ive droped it plenty of times and it still kicks ass! the battery upgrade i had was only a 9.6 and the rof is unbelievable just as good as my CA G36... if i could go back i would buy this gun over and over for performance it kicks CA and TM outta the water and for a cheap price! i highly think any begginer should start with this... even tho mine came with a single shot sticking it was no problem plus i hardly ever go single... so i give this gun 5/5 its a beast

"I recommend this gun. having abused it for a year (and actually dead out dropping it five times), i find it has absolutely no problems.
the gun is heavy and rock solid. no loose flimsy light plastic parts on this gun! I find the folding stock is extremely useful and versatile. I can carry this gun to events my messenger bag, and sometimes, in tight situations, i can shorten the gun to nearly half its size. Also, as a side note, the folding stock and its joint is also rock solid.
anyhow, downsides to this gun are it's inability to fit a larger battery inside the foregrip, and the low sights. The rail on top is great, but I find it hard to look down the stock iron sights when wearing goggles/mask, when the stock is out. (when the stock is folded in, i can just bring it to eye level). I've tried a high mounting red dot scope, and thought it was so-so because it still required alot of effort.

"I'm new to airsoft and this is my first rifle and I'm very happy with it.

"Good freaking god buying this gun was the best purchase of a mid-sized rifle I have ever made in airsoft. I have it with a $30 vertical grip(my friend's military issue model) and the Acog sold here on evike and I'll just say if you use it i dare you, i DARE you to try to find something wrong with it! It shoots .2g bb's just as hard as my upgraded CA36E with an M110 spring and 6.04mm barrel and this will put out rounds as accurately from 0-100ft with the stock barrel. The battery compartment is awesome, the best G36 one I have yet to see and the easiest to work with as it has a small claw-like mount to hook the battery into and you can't hear it wobble like in other G36's like the K or E(the bigger ones). The mags are great and are the 'omg is this for real?' type cheap on your wallet, yeah they can break but if you know what you're doing you can fix them and they last forever. The stock is rock solid, and puts my Classic Army G36's design to shame, just make sure to give it a shot of silicone lube and then work it in so you don't have to fight with it. If you're doing mid-range(100-200ft) skirmish or even dinking with friends, honestly stop hesitating, for $115 this is the best G36 you can get other than the E1 model which is made in the US and not China. My setup, JG G36c w/vgrip and Acog tuned to 125-150ft, self-made 3pt sling with 4x E1 470rd Hi-Caps, no backup necessary ^_^

"The JG G36 is a perfect clone of the Marui G36C with actually surprising more reinforced internal than a Marui shooting 80 fps higher out of the box. For upgrade parts on a g36c please look for "G36C" parts or Version 3 parts. There don't seem to be known compatible issues between major brands on internal parts, magazine or kits.

"Well, I have owned this gun for almost 9 months now, and it still shoots like the day I bought it. A lot of people say that JG guns have no durability, and are too strong for their own good, but mine has settled from 360fps to 335fps, with 16 rounds per-second. I've run both 8.4v and 9.6v batteries through this with no problems. Everything on her is stock except for the hop-up bucking, and besides to clean and lube the gearbox, I've never had to open her up. I would recommend at least 0.23g bbs in this gun, but I get best results with 0.25g (with an FPS of about 275). The folding stock is a great feature, effectively halving the gun's length, and the magazine that came with it fed perfectly. However, I would recommend the Star mid-cap mags for use with this gun, as they are amazing (and I prefer mid-caps). The version 3 gearbox design is much better than the v.2 used in armalites, and practically every other gun. To sum up; buy this gun now, you won't regret it.

"This gun is great. I felt pretty unsure about this gun when buying it since there were 2 reviews and i never heard about it. But ive had it since Christmas and have been to many matches since then and ive compiled some pros and cons to help you out.
Pros:
Not many people use the G36/G36C
Great design
Foldable stock
Metal hand rail
Decent weight
Sturdy build
Fps 330-350 (mine shoots at 350-358)
Cons:
Shoots over the fps limit but field still allows it
Mag well has some wobbleing
Gun just stops shooting sometimes
Barely enough battery space. (Get a 7.4v small stick)
Stock is Ok
Parts are hard to come by
But all in all this is a good gun I would reccomend this gun.

"This gun is very good for CQB and assault range and has a great ROF
Pros:

Great ROF
Pretty accurate
Lots of rail space
Cons:
Some attachments don't fit on the rails
So that's why I give it 4 of 5 stars, overall great gun you should get it

"This was my first AEG and it was well worth the price! About 330-350 fps stock and it is made out of a polymer material so its sturdy. You can even attach the magazines together!
Pros:
cheap
low enough fps for CQB
pretty accurate
cons:
fps not the best for field play (just upgrade)
no threads

"I ordered this 1 day before memorial day 2012.
After shipping the day after memorial day, it took about a week to get from cali, to michigan.
The gun itself is awesome and shoots decent with the stock battery.
GET A SMART CHARGER...seriously, its the best investment. Bought one with this gun, and charged stock battery in 30-40 minutes.
The magazine that came with the gun was utter poo, and I am rma'ing it.
Pros:
Great Gun
Realistic weight (could be a con)
Intimidating
Cons:
The magazine...maybe i just got a poo one
HEAVY (could be a pro)
All in all, this is a really good gun.

"This gun is amazing fires great but I did have an issue with the trigger not resetting while using semi-auto, still haven't found out why but not a really big problem just annoying. I dropped in the Guarder Bore-up Kit and couldn't believe the increase in power, until it stopped firing one day, turns out Version 3 gearboxes can be broken because my spur gear had broken a tooth but it still works fine since I took the broken chip out.
Pros: -Durable (for the most part)
-Shoots Hard
-Comfortable for any scenario
-Mags are cheap and there are many to choose from
Cons: -It's a hassle to upgrade internals
-It was hard finding the bushing size (7mm is what I came up with)
-not fun to try and reassemble after and upgrade because it's such a tight fit for the wires
-not a whole lot of upgrades for internals
