"The SAI 2011 is amazing!!

Been a huge fan of Salient Arms International and I have to say this is not just a great replica of it, but a serious training grade tool with serious weight and feel. Asides from the realistic operational functions this offers from mag release to slide locking when chamber is empty, trigger pull weight, hammer actions, the SAI 2011 is amazingly accurate and fun to shoot. I use 0.23g bbs in mine and this is by far the most accurate Airsoft handgun I have own out of my arsenal of over 20 Airsoft guns.

This pistol takes AW custom Co2 mag and green gas mag if you don't want the extended mag look that comes with the gun.

All in all, if you are looking for an awesome pistol, I would highly recommend this.

"I was expecting a licensed WE-Tech but this gun blew my mind!!
The AW custom series of pistols are like the Porsche of Airsoft GBB pistols! They done a really nice re-design of the WE platform, with extremely nice air seal on the magazine and gas economy. The pistol's blowback is crisp, strong, and realistic.

Pro:
Extremely accurate
Feels like and looks nice
Good weight
Good mag capacity (30+1)
SAI!!!

Con:
None

"This thing is a beast. had it chronoed at local airsoft arena, it shoots 345-350 with propane and it shoots 360-370 with hpa tapped at 115psi, very accurate and has better range than my TM Hi-Capa.

"This gun is N I C E ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
I was one of the first beta testers and I am still in love with it after a year!
I would recommend this gun as a nice starter GBB pistol, or for any 1911 fans.

"The gun is a good gbb pistol. Its a really nice shooting gun. Would recommend to anyone who wants a gbb.

Pro: comfortable , sounds nice, nice and crisp blowback, looks sexy, light weight (could be a con), extra mags aren't super expensive

"It has been a great Green Gas GBB pistol to shoot. Even better with proper lubrication (Super Lube grease). In cold weather we used the AW CO2 magazines (recommended by Evike) and the FPS jumped to ~370. When we cleaned the pistol, the slide jammed and would not come off with normal pressure. Evike Customer Service did respond to email contact and gave advice to correct the issue (Just smack it harder to get the slide off). The slide had never stuck again. The high capacity 50 round green gas AW magazine recommended by Evike did not work without holding pressure on the bottom of the magazine (pushing the mag forward and up). Evike customer service verified a tolerance difference to the original magazines and recommended some "fudging" with a few pieces of electrical tape, which works well to this day. The only reason for an imperfect rating is that the magazine release broke in half. Cheap pot metal construction. A product of this pedigree and cost should have better quality of the internal parts.
We ordered a magazine release made of steel ($25) and hope it will serve well.

"Review of SAI 2011 Ds 5.1 with Co2 mag

This is a great sidearm all around. It shoots a pretty good distance for a pistol. Mine out of the box also had better accuracy at range (with .25g) than some of my friends primary guns. On looks, it's difficult to beat. One thing is this gun is very loud. I personally like it but I see how it can be viewed as a con. The only reason why I am not rating this pistol 5 stars is, that after 4 months of use my mag release broke while I was reloading. It seems that the mag release is made out of cheap "pot" metal. However the rest of the gun seems to be made of much better quality materials. Luckily parts are readily available for this platform (Tm Hi-capa) for relatively cheap. Overall I would definitely reccomend buying this amazing sidearm.

"So I got this about a little back, I got the 5.1 co2, its awesome out of the box shooting about 366 avg. with .28g and going about 75 feet.

but that's not the point why this going a 4/5. because I was testing the gun then once I hit the mag release button it was to easy so say. so I go back to my table and look the mag release button broke. its a easy repair, but you would think if your paying 180$ for a pistol the internals are as the externals.

other than that this gun is great, great power behind it too. and the mag that comes with it you get about 2.5 mags on one 12g co2. great weight to the gun itself balanced weight when the mag is in it. feels great when you hold it and kicks like a .22cal pistol witch is nice for me.

I recommend this gun, but if you get the co2 one be ready to replace the mag release with is about 22$ for a good one.

"Came on time and was very well presented, well wrapped.

Pros:
Solid weight
Little to no shakiness
Fiber optic sights
Ambidextrous safety
Crisp trigger
Blowback is 10/10

Cons:
Heavy
Doesn't fit most 1911 holsters and will fall out of cloth holsters.
Came with a leaky mag that could not be fixed.

Conclusion:
Amazing weapon, just wish it hadn't come with a leaky mag, as the magazines for sale are $30 plus shipping. However, I can see myself using this for years to come!

"Have had the gun for a week and it's really nice but the magazine base plate could use a screw to secure it to the magazine to protect it like some of the other base plate "upgrades" the gun is beautiful tho

"I have been use this pistol for two month now. the finish is amazing for sure, you can expect a flawless looking gun for the prize you pay. The system seems same as marui and kjw system, so there will be a lot upgrade choices on market. It shoots accurate, able to hit a 1 gallon jar at 60 feet 10/10 of the time with .25 gram bbs. Trigger is a little squishy, but not a big problem for me. Slide wobbles a little, I really wish they could make it more tight. Now the cons: The surface is easy to scratch, don't let your gun strike any metal or it will leave a scratch on it (For me not a problem since I don't care about it that much. But for some people loves perfect it could be.) Gas hog, I don't know if it's just I get a bad magazine or some how, it burns your green gas! I need to charge it once per magazine (29-30rounds) and sometimes it cant even finish one complete magazine! Compare to another pistol I owned, the KWA USP, 2 magazine 48 rounds per charge, this is ridiculous. (more likely I receive a bag magine because when I put my ear close I can hear little voice of leaking). Over all, if your like the sai 1911's shape, then ignore the cons and buy it! We all know in airsoft game most likely you never use your pistol lol(unless you at sniper)

Pros:
sai badass looking
standard universal system easy upgrade
heavy full metal
accurate
Cons:
Gas efficiency
fishing easy to scratch
orange tip pain to remove (I burned it)

"Very nice pistol. It does rattle a bit but not too bad. One thing I have to mention. Some claim this pistol is compatible with the aw custom hicapa mags. It is but make sure it is an extended mag or a long mag because I had to take off the bottom plastic cap in order for the aw custom mag to lock in.
