"bought this and its a good base. works well out of the box. mags didnt leak for me and work for 3 reloads without re-gassing if you gas them correctly. mag changes were easy and felt secure but there is a very slight unnoticeable wobble. mag release may be awkward if you have shorter fingers. the pistol itself also has a little wobble when shaken. it chronoed 360fps with a fresh mag for me. ITS LOUD. which is good or bad dependent upon your play style. its accurate if you are accurate. safety on the back of the grip is loose so it almost doesnt fuction as a safety, or you can shoot through it with minimal force. rear sight is also a little loose. got the one with a threaded barrel thinking this would make things easier. i was wrong. the barrel is listed a a 14mm+(CW). it is not. at least not mine. for whatever reason it is just a little bigger. to the point where i cannot thread anything but the stock thread protector. what size is it? tried it with several 14mm mock suppressors and the threads do not bite. the same suppressors work on other barrels that are 14mm. so i tried a step up 16mm+(CW). that is too big. it literally slides over the theads with no resistance. so is it a 15mm+(CW)? maybe but all i know is its not 14 or 16 and 15mm+(CW/CCW) to my knowledge DOESNT EXIST. so now i have 2 suppressors i cannot use. unless i re-cut the threads to actually be 14mm+(CW). other reviews reported similar problems. i hope they fix it because i like the pistol otherwise.
pros: good hicapa base, good stock looks, good fps, LOUD, accurate, GBB, good mags, can use co2 or green gas.
cons: some wobble in various parts. harder to handle with shorter fingers but still manageable. "safety" on grip works when it wants to. LOUD. and biggest issue. some people get mystery 15mm+(CW)??? threads on the threaded barrel when it is advertised as 14mm+(CW). already a weird thread. and it doesnt even match the thread advertised. if you wanted to put a mock suppressor or tracer on this without modding it, good luck.

"I love this gun, I literally adore it but does it have a design flaw. The recoil spring guild is in two parts and held together but a .5 Allen wrench sized screw, this screw can and will break on you at some point, I’ve had to retap both my 1911 cause of this same problem but once its fixed my gosh is this gun amazing. Hits shoots super accurately up to 75 feet out on small targets and the hop up is great. Recoil feels amazing and overall the best pistol I’ve ever shot in all my years of airsoft just the biggest con is the spring guild will snap sooner or later and I have no idea why they used such a tiny screw

"just received this today and have to say the look feel and kick of this pistol is amazing. Unfortunately the magazine i got with it has a very slight leak and the threaded barrel seems to be just a hair too big to fit my B&T Tracer unit. all in all its a great pistol with a great look and feel and once you get the hopup dialed in is dead accurate to a reasonable distance

"Through my experience with this gun I will say I’m a little disappointed in the quality and condition I received mine in. Out of the box the barrel and slide wobble an excessive amount not to mention the dysfunctional slide release. I expected that this relatively expensive pistol would’ve been of higher quality and not require me to buy a new $50 slide release. I suppose where this gun lacks in quality it makes up for in performance as it shoots very well and feels nice in the hand. It’s a shame that such a beautiful and well performing gun was delivered so poorly.

"Okay feel when shooting. Good accuracy. Feels like pot metal so I'm a little disappointed by the somewhat cheap feel to a gun at this price point. Air nozzle also broke after 2 magazines and wouldn't feed. Now the gun chews up O-rings on the new air nozzle. Lest I say I am extremely disappointed.

"Basically, I like this pistol. But it suffers from several design weaknesses. Certain components can't handle the enhanced pressure CO2 creates over green gas.
I've had to make modifications to the 2-piece guide rod and the outer barrel to keep them from squirting out the end of the slide.
The 2 pieces of the guide rod are secured by a tiny set screw (#2 or #3) that shears off after only 50 or 60 rounds. I drilled and tapped for a larger #4-40 set screw and that seems to work for about 100 rounds before shearing. I bought a box of 100 #4-40 x 1/8-inch set screws from McMaster-Carr so now I can at least replace them when they fail.
The 2-piece outer barrel came apart after about 400 rounds. The forward outer tube is attached by just an interference fit with the rear chamber fitting, so I again drilled and tapped for a #4-40 setscrew, which I used red Loc-Tite thread locker to secure in place.
You may ask why I didn't return the whole rig. Simple, I purchased several extra mags for this pistol so I didn't want to replace it with something else that wouldn't take them. And I didn't want to replace it with the same model because the replacement would still have the same design defects. I felt that as a career mechanical engineer I could make improvements that the original designers didn't make.
So far it's still running after about 150 rounds post-modifications.
If you buy this model be prepared for the design weaknesses.
I still love the way it shoots and it's pretty accurate. I just wish airsoft pistol designers would do more intense life testing of their products.

"Slide is wobbly, some parts in general are a bit wobbly, which could've been fixed by better precision in manufacturing. Fires great, no issues thus far. The mag and magwell feel super solid. Overall decent, but could be much better.

"Would I recommend this pistol somewhat it has its flaws but it is cool the trigger has a bit where if you pull it back a little like right before it clicks it full autos I got co2 reload package and I personally don’t think the gun could handle the co2 my safety fell off after 3 days and the slide catch won’t work very well also just now after like 15-30 games I naught a green gas mag ran flawlessly then I put the co2 ones in and the bbs would jam or shoot out the top like shell ejecting or something then the co2 mags broke my slide catch and now the gun is functional but not as good as when I just got it

"First Hi-Capa so I'm not sure what's acceptable and what's not right so I'll just list from my perspective.
Pros:
Looks damn good.
The weight is nice and realistic.
Everything works as is it should; safety clicks nicely, mag release catches and releases, slide stop/release is as it should be, sight adjusts.
Surefire X300 attaches perfectly.
When fires is very satisfying.
Cons:
I bought two extra mags and one won't fill at all, not sure if it's the one that came with it or one of the extras.
Trigger IS NOT like a real 1911/2011, no glass rod feeling.
Green Gas efficiency is a joke, getting roughly half a mag per fill.
Fiber Optic front sight is dim even in full sunlight, had to replace it with a FO rod insert from my RS Dawson Precision sights.
Slide is a bit wobbly but I think that's just Hi-Capa stuff.

"I wanted to love this gun but so far other than looks and magazine compatibility it's been a handful
Pros: Full metal
Nice grip
No magazine leaks
Still in one piece
Compatible with standard hi-capa magazines
Cons: Wasn't 14mm threads on mine cw or ccw wouldn't work with my model
Wasn't compatible with my angel custom hi-capa barrel kit to fix the previous con
Orange tip is cheap thin plastic broke off easy
Have yet to get through a whole mag without running out of gas
Loose safety
Mag release gets stuck and mags fallout alot recently
Kinda pricey for what you get
I would highly recommend looking at other models or other handguns in general

"This is my first air soft pistol. I went with the Co2 version. This gun as far as looks is amazing! The feel is also great. I can’t believe how much it feels like real steel. Only thing is and since it’s my very first air soft pistol I’m not sure if it’s normal or not but it has some nasty what I guess is the outer barrel? The brass looking part. It rocks up and down and side to side also the base plate makes a lot of noise when moving around. For the price I figured it would be nice and tight fitting all around. I’m a little disappointed, thinking of returning it as it just arrived today and I haven’t used it yet.

"Just received pistol today, it’s my first air soft purchase. I bought to use with my Mantis shooting trainer. First the pistol is top notch, smooth slide and sweet trigger pull. Okay now my cons, absolutely NO INSTRUCTIONS OR MANUAL INSIDE BOX. Simple a pistol and clip. Because it’s so new I could not find any You Tube videos to help, so as of now I own a boat anchor. I’m don’t consider myself illiterate in mechanical stuff but I’m at a loss on how to install a Co2 cartridge. I wrote Evike this evening hoping to hear from them tomorrow. My rating would be a 5 but only able to give a 3 today

"Shot well for a little while and was fun to use but ended up being unreliable and sometimes works sometimes doesn't too much time spent working on it than using it
