"I have had this gun for a few months now, the only problems with this gun are the threadlock on all the screws and the cheap pistol grip. I stripped the forward screw on the receiver because it was so tightly locked up. Beside the threadlock, the cheap pistol grip and the sort of wobbly hi cap it comes with, this gun is amazing for the price there is not a better sub $300 M4 style AEG. The performance of it is unmatched by any other comparable rifle. I changed my connector to a deans plug so I could use my 11.1v LiPo (continuous 20c discharge) and it is working just fine, it shoots about 20-22 rps with an occasional misfeed on full auto. I have put about 7,000-8,000 rounds through it since then and it is working great. I do plan on stepping the motor up to the krytac 30k and putting an m120 spring to get the fps to about 400 as well as handle the power output better. However when I bought the gun it chronoed at 370-360 fps which was very strange considering the gun is advertised at 320-290 fps. I have not gotten the chance to chrono it since then so I am not too sure what the fps is now. I have not heard of anyone else having this happen. I am not too worried, but it makes me wonder if I need to change the motor and the spring or just the spring or just the motor. I would really love to have someone take a look and see why it shot 370-360 but getting that stripped screw out is going to be a pain and I can't do any internal work until I get it out.

"It's a good rifle. I used it a tac city and although I did have to get the spring cut to shoot sub 350 fps it did well. I bought the black version when it was the only choice but damn do I wish that tan was an option because it looks so much better

"Bought 2 of these for my son and I last year for Christmas. We’ve been running them in CBQ and outdoor for about a year now and they’re flawless!! Would strongly recommend them! The guys at Evike are always very professional and helpful too.

"AWESOME!!! i run a 3s lipo and this gun has been flawless for over 1 year. it has become my goto and used more than anything else. i did put the stronger spring in it and im shooting .25 and .30 bbs and the range is still awesome. in full auto on 3s it shoots like a laser beam.

"I’ve had this rifle for about a year now, and it is awesome! It’s consistent, reliable, and accurate. I broke it myself, no fault due to the rifle, as it fell from about 5 1/2 feet and the buffer tube slightly bent. My only complaint is I wish I could run an 11.1 on it without the motor over spinning.

"It's Good really good. You can get this thing to perform better then the mk2 crb for about the same price.
Let's do the math
Krytac crb mk2 is $345
For that price you can get this gun $255
A asg motor that's better then the mk2 motor for $39.45
A asg spring to upgrade the fps for $9.95
and a 6.03 Prometheus tight bore for $42.88
That comes to a total of about $347, just two dollars more then the crb mk 2.

"This is the best rifle Ive ever used, held, or fired that is under the 400 dollar mark.
Pros
Can use lipos (I use a 11.1 with no issues)
ROF is 25 rps with a lipo
FPS is perfect for indoor
Accurate out to 150 feet
Great hop up and tightbore inner barrel
Has a great MOSFET system out of the box
Quick Change Spring
Efficient piston and air nozzle
Cons
Cramped battery storage in the stock
A2 pistol grip is not ergonomic
The pros heavily outway the cons. For $255 you cannot buy a better rifle. The only issue I've had is due to the 11.1 lipo (It states the problem in the manual). Once in a while (every 30 rounds or so on semi) it fired 2 rounds on semi until I switched to auto, then safe, then back to semi (that corrected the problem for another 30 rounds). It did that though the first 700 rounds until I started to break it in. I have fired about 10,000 rounds and this issue has not popped up again. Use a 7.4 lipo to break the rifle in for the first 1000 rounds, then use your 11.1 lipo. This rifle dominates in CQB, but is only as good as the user. A bad airsofter wont improve with a rifle. A good airsofter will be able to use a better airsoft gun more efficiently. My rifle was firing at 340 fps with .20 gram BBs, and then about 325 after the spring was broken in. It has a 4 FPS variance after 10k rounds.
This platform can support many upgrades that would break stock guns. You can add a Dual sector gear, add a stiffer spring, throw a better motor in, etc. I would personally avoid a DSG or anything similar. The ROF is quite high as it is, and throwing something in to raise it much higher will cause a lot more wear and tear.
TLDR; Get this gun, if you are just getting into airsoft, are a experienced airsofter, or thinking about going to a Milsim or CQB field.

"Absolutely love this rifle!!!
Pros
- Full metal gear box
- its a krytac
- takes most mags (elite force mid caps work the best in my experience)
- iron sights are metal and easy to use and see through
- 310 fps (can be a con for outdoor fields but I play indoor so its good for me)
- lots of battery space in the buttstock
Cons
- none so far other then fps for outdoor fields and that is picky about its mags

"The gun is very good. It was my first aeg purchase and I was happy. I went to play some indoor airsoft and it chronos at 350-355 on .2 gram bbs. It was accurate and consist right out of the box. I do recommend spending the extra money to get this, it will pay off well.

"Looked very nice out of box, with full metal construction, feels real. Once adding the iron sights that come with it, it shoots pretty well, obviously needed a hopup adjustment, but otherwise shot fairly straight. The only issues I have with this gun, which is absolutely amazing for the price, is that it has issues with magazine compatibility, and it's a liittle weak out of the box for outdoor games. I've used this gun twice so far, during an indoor game, and an outdoor game. Indoor it performs perfectly, and I have no issues. Outdoors, if shooting from far enough away, it's hard to hit a target, or have the target feel the shot. The mag compatibility isn't the best either. The full metal magazine it come with is perfect, but the one I purchased along with it, that was reccomended by Evike's reccomendations tab did not fit. Fit an M4 I have, which is fine, so no problems there. Krytac is iffy when it comes to magazine compatibility, but I have found several that fit it just fine.

"I absolutely love this gun. I put a m113 spring in and it shoots just under 400fps. Perfect for my local field. Seriously, I couldn't be happier!
I wish krytac made pistols.
