"Hi, I just got one. And I love it. I am runing a 7.4 lipo with the gun. The gun has a nice look and is well made. I will let you know how it gos.

"My new favorite. I've an Avalon Saber as well as a Kwa Ronin (extended mad bull barrel and a maple leaf hop). This EMG has them both beat right out of the box. It's close between the VFC and this Kel Tec but the build quality of the outer parts goes to the Kel Tec.
My KWA wishes it had the response and accuracy of the Kel Tec.
The 2 downsides to the Kel Tec are the battery storage and access to the hop up. Neither of my 2 other performance aeg have much space for batteries ether but access to the hop up is better on the 2 M4s. The over all performance goes to the Kel Tec easily.
One thing I was pleasantly surprised with is the charging hand return spring was beefed up compared to the one in the video.
Considering the price, you be hard fetched to find a better bang for the buck.
Full heartedly recommend

"So far, I'm over the moon with this Rifle. Comfortable weight and sturdy build. Mag release is a little awkward, but that is more because the Mags don't drop free like Live Steel mags would (lighter) but not hard to swap. I'm getting 375 fps w/ .25s out the box and the 11.1 LiPo is kicking 23 rps. After a little tweaking the hop has me getting good accuracy and range, within a few inches at 100 feet where I can shoot it at home.
Con:
The Battery Compartment is not that roomy, or easy to reattach. First real mod I'm going to do is add an external mount for the battery so it will fit a 3000mAh Titan and easy swap.

"I’m a huge fan of bull pups and future looking guns. This one hits the spot. Most issues with bp is the triggers are usually hard to pull not the greatest but with this ones micro switch it’s amazing
Only down sides is hop up placement is in a bad place only can adjust with a flat head screw driver :/ more rail space would be nice but for the price it’s a great gun

"I just got mine and I've got say I love the look of the rifle. I've almost got as many comments about it as my PDR-c. She shot pretty well right out of the box and the trigger response is fantastic for a bullpup. Anyone who has ever shot a FN2000 or Tavor will tell you trigger response on most bullpups is terrible, with trigger pull for days before the shot. But Ares fixed it with the microswitch. The only real complaint is the hop up, which I don't think Ares has ever done all that well, and will be the first thing that I upgrade. All together I would rate it 8/10 for the two sessions that I've played with it.

"This thing is one of the most solid guns i have. Havent had the chance to really get a good shooting test but everything is held together very well. No body creak at all. one thing to note is that evikes description lists this as having a long type motor, it actually has a short type motor. found that out after purchasing a high speed long type and finding its not the right one lol. no big deal just saying.

"So far I love this gun. Only real complaint is it doesn’t come with any sights and the area in the front stock does not have much room for a battery even with how bulky it is.

"This gun freaking slaps. Shoots very well right out the box. For me this gun has 3 issues though.
The minor issue i have with the rifle that the selector switch loaction is a little akward and difficult to easily change to what you need without letting completely of the grip.
The 2 big issues with this gun however is the battery space and setup, and the hop up adjustment. There is not alot of room for the battery, and putting it back together rifht is a pain, the connector on the gun itslef pulled off on me today trying to get it set up. The hop up is also really annoying since it is hard to access in the middle of a fight.
Overall i love this piece and its one of my new absolute favorites but those flaws keep it from a perfect 5 star

"Excellent build quality, no creaks or flex of any kind. Out of the box performance was very good, but I noticed how much tighter shot groups were at range when I installed a Lambda 6.01 barrel. NOTE - when replacing the barrel and hop unit, I confirmed my suspicion that the sticker indicating which way to turn the hop wheel is backwards; when looking into the mag well with the stock of the gun facing you, turn the wheel to the RIGHT to increase hop. Accessing the barrel/hop assembly is very easy, there are a few videos on Youtube about this already. FPS out of the box was just under 400, with the quick change spring very easy to access. There are still some air seal issues as my FPS fluctuates - 10 FPS, I suspect the issue is in the cylinder/nozzle/cylinder head. Do not HK slap the charging handle, as it seems to be made of pot metal. Thankfully it serves no functional purpose, only an aesthetic one. Trigger response is excellent, and it does not suffer from the creep or heavy trigger pull of my other bullpups.
Battery installation takes some practice; I found it easiest to fit my 11.1v stick battery into the handguard first, then plug it into the gun, then lever the handguard onto the receiver. Ergonomically I like this rifle very much; its well balanced and shoulders well. The Evike Mag Compatibility chart is spot on, and my K120s feed with no problems. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something different but capable.

"So firstly I enjoy the vast majority of unique weapons for a collector like myself to find something new, but I'm never doing a preorder with evike again. Way too many delays.
Now for the gun, pros: already deans wires with a microswitch and handling 11.1 lipo sticks is awesome. Very crisp, all it needs is a new trigger and itll be very clean. No worries of cramming batteries like other bullpup styles. Shoots a littlw hot actually at about 1.53 joules with .32s out of the box but I'm sure as it breaks in it'll drop down. My field is okay with it a little about. Hop up is annoying for sure to adjust but its a tough design. And accepting epm mags as a bullpup is very nice.
Cons. The handguard where the battery goes is very difficult to remove and put back in place. It is a pin you have to remove and I almost need a hammer and a thin screwdriver to get it out and back in. Kinda wish they designed that to be a bit more accessible, definitely impossible out on the field. Other than that, I'm happy to finally get my good bullpup.

"There isn’t many late Bullpup rifles majority found on Evike being conversion kits. But the RDB is a good choice for a bullpup rifle especially given price range, it’s capable of well noting feats, from maneuverability, ambidextrous features, and FPS. Unfortunately it’s falling behind even from its own in real life inspiration. Lacking modular-ability with only one pic rail on the handguard as opposed to the IRL RDB able to switch to three different handguards most notably MLOK, further more the battery resides in the handguard and although it promotes space for it, the space allotted is very limited especially since more room could easily be made by removing some plastic and the dean connector easily becomes wedged or stuck in the handguard, barreling, or outside. And the pin that holds the handguard is always willing to fight you on being reinserted and will have constant friction with the slot or the handguard will never line up with the hole making it impossible to secure it without having to modify or drill the hole. It’s a affordable latest Gen bullpup but expect reoccurring inconveniences and issues when using it.

"Pros:
- Good external build quality
- Excellent balance for a bullpup gun.
- Microswitch trigger (no transfer bar like other bullpup guns).
- Gearbox layout is really easy to align the motor and bevel gear.
Cons:
- Awful proprietary hopup where the only way to adjust it is with the magazine out, and using a stick or screwdriver to poke into the magwell.
- PROPRIETARY GEAR SYSTEM THAT CANNOT BE UPGRADED OR YOU WILL LOSE SEMI AUTO FUNCTIONALITY.
- My RBD had teeth from the sector gear stripped after only 3 games.
- Entire shell must be disassembled in order to remove gearbox for work. Trigger assembly must also be removed or the gearbox will still be tethered to the receiver which makes work on it difficult.
In all, not really surprised as Ares is known for proprietary hardware, but they make interesting guns compared to other manufacturers. If you like upgrading and tinkering, this gun is NOT for you.

"When I first got this gun out of a BOA I was crazy excited. The gun shot hard And straight, just over 400fps with .20's. I figured the spring would wear in a bit and drop below 400fps for our local games. What I didn't know was that it would definitely drop below 400fps.
No joke, I'm not making this up, 3 time taking this bad boy out I noticed I lost all range. Chronoed, and boom! 300 fps. Again with .20's.
Pulled the hop up out, hoping the bucking was dicked and it was. Torn. Changed that and gained 50 fps. That's it though. Nothing I have done will get me back to that 400fps I was originally at.
Online folks are saying the piston head is poop, but I don't want to tear into the gearbox. I've never done that yet. Ive also heard that this gun may not be a good first timer for tearing Into. Pretty bummed I guess.
One thing I may add, is that the trigger response was great for what it's worth.
