"This thing is pretty ehh... Plenty of room for just about any battery. The design is pretty poor, though. The Velcro only allows for one closing point (no tighter no looser). When closed at its only point, it leaves a large area open at the top on both sides. I could see a smaller battery making its way out of these openings.
