MadBull Airsoft Ultimate Hopup Unit for M4/M16 Series Airsoft AEG

"Finally a review from my usage of it....This hop up unit is Amazing. Seals very tightly against the gearbox and the wheel Does Not Move!

Only con i can think of was that the blue bucking that Comes with it is a Very tight fit in the unit.....I'd use something else unless you want to use brute force to get your barrel out lol

"Opened up the package excited to put together my new HopUp for my customs build to find the HopUp arm was missing. After talking with Evike customer service, despite the longer wait time because of Covid, handled the situation very appropriately with a new HopUp on the way. Overall I’m praying to see this issue not happen again to me or to anyone but to be happy and see all of the necessary parts for the HopUp which also comes with a decent hop rubber. The body itself has a decent build quality, just praying for the parts to all be together this time. Hopefully this was a one in a million mistake.

"I have problems with this chamber when paired with a madbull 6.03 barrel and the rubber included. The fit is too tight that BB can't go through without manually pushing bbs out with a screwdriver. This is so sarcastic since all the products I've used are made by Madbull. My intention of buying this was to swap out the Ares stock hop up chamber, but instead, I used its arm and the rest of the Ares stock chamber. Works pretty well this way since it's pressing down way further than the Ares arm (which need modification to use flat hop). I'm only giving 3 stars for the arm. The rest of this product is just disappointing.

"The 1 Star review is so no one buys this product. I bought one and by luck got a very bad hopup that should not of passed QC anywhere. Background for my right to give a 1 Star review, I am a 35 year Machinist and Tool & Die Maker that specializes in prototype development and manufacturing.... The way the product is rough casted left mine with guide ears that were over .109 of an inch thick on each side, thus would not slide into any barrel without milling them down. Next, the bore for the barrel and the buck was very inconsistent. So bad that the bucking would not slide correctly into the bore without compressing and stretching unevenly. The landing inside the bore that the bucking stops and seats against was also about .025 of an inch to shallow causing the user to push their barrel too hard into the hopup bore in order for the barrel retainer to clip in place correctly. This causes distortion of not only the front seal of the bucking, but will also cause performance and seal issues from the nozzle seating correctly. I bought a fluted reamer that was .0005 over my desired diameter for the bucking bore and just hand reamed the bore smooth as well as took it deeper to a proper depth. No one should have to go through this ever. Especially for the cost of this little thing. Even after all this rework, it still performed very poor. The plastic hopup arm is not molded the best and creates a slight off center pull on the BB causing it to get a bit of a curve to the right. At this point I pulled it out and decided to post this review. These issues are not a one-off and are caused by bad manufacturing processes with worn molds and tooling. I put a cheap one piece plastic hopup back in for now and its 1000x better already.

I couldn't even fit my barrel in without force, and not to mention it was machined off to the side slightly! I've ordered madbull products in the past but i might have to start looking somewhere else in the future

"Simply does not work in my gun. (Elite Force CQC). The other reviewers are exactly right about the quality control on this item. The metal this hop up is made from is not nice. It's rough and just not made well. It did not fit without serious modification. Even when I got it to fit I had constant feeding and jamming issues. I do not recommend this product. Maybe I got a bad unit but I decided to go with a Prometheus unit instead.

I got one of these with a Madbull Metal body. Seeing as I was going to buy the prowin hop up the next order I made I was happy to not have to anymore. Wrong. This hop up is so badly made that I had to sand it to fit into a body produced by the same company. The metal is just unfinished. you will have problems because it's not the correct dimensions out of the box. Unacceptable for an "ultimate" hop up chamber.

"The worst hop up ever.
It does not retain bbs, it lowered my fps by 250 (making my gun 90-100 fps), it does not shoot straight at all (BBS GO LITERALLY IN ALL DIRECTIONS), Double feeds (sometimes even shatters bbs) and the hop up bucking is awful.
Waste of money and I highly recommend the prowin hop up unit with a REAPS bucking over this.
This hop up was tested in a Stock VFC Mk18 Mod 1.
