"It's good enough to support my 240mm inner barrel & silencer on my 1911, but I wouldn't use it for something like a tracer unit that you'll be putting on and taking off frequently. I could crush this thing very easily with a pair of pliers. But it held up to me dropping my pistol on the ground landing on the silencer (a few times). But, I do feel like this thing will give out any second and at some point i'll draw my pistol and my silencer will be gone.

"Decent quality thread adapter for most WE-Tech pistols with stock outer barrels. Make sure to thread carefully, if you don't it's gonna screw up the threads, since this is made of some cheap Chinese pot metal.

Works with WE-Tech: all G-Series, M&P (Big & Little Bird), Hi Capa, 1911, XDM (DM40), M9 & M84, PX4 (Bulldog), Makarov, P226 (F226), Browning Hi-Power, and Luger.

"Good item, made of some lightweight metal. Paint scratches rather easily, no big deal. It isnt painted on the inside, so you just see white, primed metal, which is disappointing. Threads are CW to the end of the barrel, and CCW for a barrel extension. I have tested this on most WE pistols, and fit all of them, they were the following: SIG F226/P226 F228/P228 F229/P229, G17/18 G19 1911 MEU HiCapa M9 XDM40. I havent tried any other brand GBB. If you are replacing a non-threaded tip, be very careful when removing that tip using whatever method. If there are any imperfections in your barrel threading this wont work, I had to buy a new OEM barrel for my SIG P226.

"Pros
Will work on ANY WE pistol with an internally threaded barrel
Aluminum
Looks cool

Cons
Can break due to the weight of the silencer/whatever you put on it

"does exactly what it say, gives the ability to mount cool s#!t on you pistol. unfortunately it angles whatever you screw on down just a little and mine came painted orange not silver, nothing a wire brush couldn't fix.

"the 11mm thread side is extremely small. wanted a silencer on me 4.3 hi capa got a small 80mm silencer from here too and decided not to use it because how easily it comes off and really don't want locktite on there. it was very affordable though

"It fits none of my gbb pistols. I have a WE Hicapa xlrator, doesn't fit. I have a KWA 1911, doesnt fit. I have some APS pistols that are TM spec, doesn't fit. I have yet to find a pistol that takes 11m threading. If you know yours does, this would work for you.

"Note that this will NOT fit a TM barrel. I accidentally destroyed the thread adapter on my Echo1 Wolfsbane, but my field requires an orange tip on all airsoft guns. So I bought this to put on my barrel. The WE thread adapter is too small to thread into a TM barrel.

Out of desperation, I then bought a WE barrel. It now fit the adapter, but the barrel is too thick now to fit the standard bushing (it fit the compensator just fine), meaning I cannot fit a suppressor to the gun anyway.

Rated 3 stars due to not working with TM barrels.

If someone can point me in the direction of a TM 1911 (NOT hi-capa) that comes with a threaded barrel, I would be grateful.

"I got this product for my WE 1911 MEU and It worked for a while but during the third game I used it in. The product broke off between the barrel and my silencer

It is made out of aluminum and is too soft for this purpose. I also think if you had a very lightweight silencer but your pistol fell out of its holster that would also cause it to break.

"I bought one a while back to go with my new WE-Tech Colt Mark IV (A beautiful CO2-powered monster of a GBB) so I could put a Madbull Gemtech Blackside suppressor on it for the ultimate badass look. (And later maybe an extended inner barrel!)

The problem is, this thing is-- frankly --garbage. It _should not_ be made of aluminium. The cross-section of the gun-side threads is too thin. Just the weight of my suppressor was enough to deform the threads, and all I'd been doing was indoor target shooting... Not even skirmishing! I wasn't able to unscrew it after that...and I had to tear it apart with a pair of pliers. (Yeah, the fact that the gun-side threaded section crushed and tore like a papertowel roll is pretty telling!)

If I knew what the gun-side threads were, I'd turn my own in stainless steel...but I can't get a thread gauge into the 1911 barrel! :'(

Pros:
I'll admit, it looked REALLY GOOD on the end of the barrel, giving it that perfect 'tactical' look.
I suppose it'll work if you have a feather-light suppressor... But the Blackside isn't all that heavy!

Cons:
Poor choice of material for the design.
Doesn't support the weight of a good suppressor, doesn't speak well to withstanding the rigors of skirmishing.

Other thoughts:
If you run an inner barrel through it, with a bushing so the inner barrel is sort of reinforcing it, I suppose you shouldn't have a problem. But having to do that to keep from breaking the thing, is sort of a negative for the product itself.
