"I wasnt going to write a review for this gun but I noticed a lot of the reviews are old so I figured I would give a more up to date one for you guys who are interested in buying this Galil. So I ordered this gun July 1st, and got it July 5th. I opened the box and I got the gun itself, your typical unjamming rod, a front sight adjustment tool, a little baggie of spare fuses, one high cap 400 round magazine, a bag of ICS BB's, and an extra gas tube that fits any larger type stick battery. The gun was packaged real well so nothing got damaged on its journey from California to Michigan. Well, I picked the gun up out of the box and the very first thing I noticed was how canted to the left the front sight was. Upon messing with it, I found that the front sight and gas block were completely loose and I could move it side to side. I looked up what would be the best way to go about fixing or at least minimizing that wobbly mess and didnt find a thing. So I ended up just using some super glue and super glueing the gas tube to the front sight/gas block. So far it seems to be holding but it has only been a day since doing that and I havent fielded the weapon yet. So after further analysis of this gun, I didnt find anything else to be wrong with it externally. I bought a 10.8v 1600mah high output battery for it, charged it up and test fired it with no BBs in it. The fire rate is incredible, and the trigger is very responsive. So I filled the magazine up with BB's and went to test fire it and see how it functioned. Well, it went through about a dozen BB's on full auto before it started to spat BBs out of the barrel about 10 feet instead of launching them out like its supposed to just like it was doing 5 seconds previous. It sounded like the air seal somewhere was bad, which I read up on this gun before buying and saw that a few people did report the ICS Galil having a bad air seal. So I went ahead and ordered a new piston, piston head, cylinder head, a metal spring guide, a new air nozzle, a polycarb hopup, a new bucking, and a 450mm 6.01mm barrel. I planned to upgrade it in the future anyways, so I guess this is a good excuse to just upgrade it now.
Pros
-The folding stock and how rock solid it is.
-the metal and build quality of the externals.
-the wood hand grip
-they mustve made the bipod spring longer or anchored it in place so it doesnt fall out anymore when you deploy the bipod.
-the sights. I love those flip up night sights.
-really easy to take down and disassemble.
-the ability to be a support or assault type weapon.
-quick detach bipod with the bottle opener/wire cutter.
-the ambidextrous fire selector.
-the piece of metal behind the mag release so you dont accidentally release your mag.
-its on the heavier side
-the wiring is very high quality.
Cons
-the wobbly front sight/gas block
-bad air seal (maybe its just mine, who knows)
-its kinda heavy and pretty long. (Not a con for me, but letting yall know)
-the magazines are real pricey.
-the inner barrel is kind of a pain to remove.
Overall, I would buy this gun again. I would not recommend it to someone who is very new to this stuff. I do like this gun very much. It isnt just another AK, or another M4 so its definitely got some uniqueness to it that makes me like it even more, and thats what drew me towards this gun in the first place. But with that being said, I will give it 4 stars.

"As cool as this airsoft Galil is, it has to be stated that ICS's main priority when making this rifle was probably looks, not performance. The full-metal body is completely rattle-free and the folding stock is incredibly solid in both the folded and extended positions. Despite this heavy-duty exterior, this gun maintains a fairly low weight. The whole gun is beautifully finished, complete with a unique serial number and authentic Israeli Military markings. After a month of fairly hard use, this gun is still as solid as the day it arrived and it has no scratches. To cut a long story short, this rifle looks and feels straight up awesome. Moving on to performance, understand that by no means does this gun perform poorly, but apart from the exceptionally high rate of fire with a 9.6v battery and the silky smooth trigger response, there isn't anything terribly noteworthy about this rifle's stock performance. It shoots at about 370 FPS with .25g BBs and achieves similar groupings to an Echo 1 M4. This ho-hum accuracy could probably be vastly improved by a new hop-up chamber, as the installed one seems to be of fairly low quality and is kind of jumpy and unpredictable. Despite these setbacks, this is definitely my favorite airsoft rifle of all time. If you are a super serious airsoft player looking for an incredibly tactical and deadly accurate airsoft gun that will own people in professional tournaments, this probably is not what you're looking for. However, if you want an extremely unique rifle that will stand out in a crowd and hold its own in battles, look no further than the ICS Galil.

"So this is a bit of a follow up review from my first review. Also I wanted to add a few things about the gun so theres a bit more information for you guys interested in this gun.
The Barrel is not 440mm. Its way longer than that. I bought a 450mm barrel and it was REALLY short. You cant throw any AK type hop up into it, it takes a specially modified version 3 hop up to fit in the gun. And the air nozzle it takes is a short type air nozzle.
When I opened the gearbox the very first thing I noticed was how over greased everything was. There was a shim completely folded in half and loosely floating around in the gearbox. After just a few trigger pulls to test fire the gun, the piston teeth were severely stripped and the air seal of the cylinder head and piston head were horrendous. The only thing great about the gearbox was the gears. The 10.8v battery I put in it gives it such a ridiculous fire rate that the gun wont feed BB's on full auto, but feeds them no problem on semi auto, so I wouldnt recommend anything over a 9.6v battery for this thing.
After changing out the piston head, cylinder head, piston, and air nozzle the gun performs awesome. This is not a straight out of the box gun, and does take some work to get it working the way it should. And with all that I have said, I think I can only give it 3 stars now.
