"Bright Tracers!

0.12g: you mix these with your regular bbs for cost efficient
0.20g: for 350 FPS and under.
0.25g: for 350 FPS and more.

I fire these using the Matrix tracer unit and it is super cool, something you must try.

Besides the light show, tracer units are used by real military units for tactical advantages.

It allows you to see where you are shooting in the dark / at night. (For this purpose, mix 30% tracer rounds with your regular bb.)

"Model: .20
Type: Tracer BB's
Manufacturer: Matrix
Retailer: www.evike.com
Price: $9.99 (1000rnds) , $12.99 (2000 rnds) , $29.99 (5000 rnds)
SKU: 20NGBB1000 20NGBB2000 20NGBB1000

The purchase

Well, night games are getting more intense in the area that I play in. So, I picked up a G&G
tracer mag. Then, I needed ammo. I looked around at different sites and prices. At a wopp-
ing approx. $15.00 + shipping for 650 rnds from Tokyo Marui, I started to wonder how I could
possibly afford to have much fun with my tracer mag. Then I, by luck, came across the deal
Evike has on Matrix .20 tracer rounds for a meager $29.99 and my spirits lifted. Next problem,
I had never even heard of Matrix, much less ever used any of their rounds before. In a world
full of shotty, easy shatter rounds poised to jam barrels and destroy hop-ups, I wondered what
kind of a chance I was taking with my brand new GR300. I read the Evike write up that accom-
panies the ad and saw that they boast a perfectly round 5.98 diameter and a high quality BB.
Matrix seems to be kind of the "new kid on the block" when it comes to quality rounds, though,
so I was still a little leary. So, hurtin for rounds and financially constrained I took the preverbial
"leap of faith".

The proof is in the pudding

The moment the rounds arrived I wanted to load em and fire em. But daylight and a dead 8.4
battery decided differently. Finally, the next night arrives and it was time to play. Loaded my
mag and headed over to a teammate's property to test em out. Right off the bat I was impre-
ssed. The rounds were plenty bright enough to be seen on semi and, thus far, no jams or
oddly firing rounds. Next test, full auto. Again, I was happy to have no jams or wild rounds.
I moved on to firing on hard target at about 10-15 feet to see how solid the construction was.
I immediately noticed that ,rather than shattering, the rounds ricocheted off and , though
obviously deformed, were still intact. This is what I'd come to expect of Marui and Excel rounds,
so I was pleased and felt I'd made the right choice. In all, I have easily expended around 1000
of these rounds with not one problem. Moreover, I am recommending them for my entire team
,as well as, to the event production company that I am a part of for all of our "After Dark"
events.

Conclusion

5 out of 5 stars. The quality of these rounds pales only in comparison to the affordable price.
I am so impressed that I will be using Matrix brand for all of my field BB's from here forward.
My only complaint is that there are not more colors of the tracer rounds available from Matrix.
Hopefully, those will be coming soon. :)

Thank you, again, for taking the time to read one of my reviews. Hope it's helped you.

"very cheap and very high quaility

same as normal bbs

get one of the tracer units and toss come of these into your mags and your good to go

or if you want to have some fun put the trace unit on your gun and shoot only glow in the dark bbs. it looks like a stream of green goo...pretty sweet definetly a must buy
by sandra s. on 11/12/2008
"when you have a tracer on your gun can you still shoot normal bbs i know the bbs wont golw but can you still normal bbs if its attached

"Must have! High quality 0.20g bbs just like all other matrix bbs. Much better than the 0.12gram glow in the dark bb in terms of accuracy. These are Marui grade bb and the price is great! (Used to pay $15 for 800 rounds Marui tracer bb!) Love using my tracer unit and tried most of the 0.20g tracer bb in the market today, these are by far the best out there in terms of quality and pricing.

"Awsome bb. Most high quality bb you can tell from just looking at it and these are definitely the bb you want to trust with your AEG. Used over fifty bags of matrix bb now and not a single time I have problem with them. The run smooth even in my tight bore prometheus and PDI barrels. Very reliable brand of bb. Used to use Marui but those are no where to be found anymore and these are just as good with cheaper price.

"only use the best with the tokyo marui tracer unit: this is the best. great bbs. use in tracer units.
