"It was a great fit, on size fits MOST. I like that it had a hidden pouch so you could hide intel or maps. Although the chest cavity was totally empty it had a nice feel with good mag pouches. Over all, beast!

"I was looking for something with more utility space than the three-pocket Chi-com vest I'd been using. Overall, this fits the bill. Three double-magazine pouches (so, six AK mags) plus two side pouches and the front admin pocket.
Having used it, though, I have to say that the bungee system is just not a good fit for AK-style banana magazines. The top of the magazine sits at a steeper angle than a STANAG magazine, so it takes a bit of fidgeting to slide the bungees into a secure position. Were I buying another chest rig, I'd go with a similar layout, but with some sort of flap closure instead of the bungees.
There's a velcro tab inside each of the magazine pouches; as far as I can tell, it's there so you can make the pouch lay flat when empty. It tends to get in the way if you want to re-insert a magazine into an empty pouch, however.
I also noticed that one of the bungee cords was already semi-frayed on arrival. So I'll probably be repairing or replacing that cord sometime soon.
For the price, my criticisms are pretty minor. It's a very simple, lightweight, basic chest rig. I'd give it four stars if it weren't for the bungee closures, which I'm afraid just aren't a good choice for AK mags.
