"The G&P Mk23 Stoner is an excellent support rifle. However, some of these units have a defect in gearset. Some of the G&P gear axles in these rifles are bent, which will cause your gearbox to lock up and fail. It is a big pain in the rear end, but you should take your Mk23 Stoner to a reputable tech to examine and re-shim/grease the gearbox after purchase. If you catch a bent axle ahead of time, it will save you a lot of grief. That being said, once repaired, this rifle is a total beast. You can put out a lot of plastic in the direction of your opponents and be effective while doing so. It is also capable of shooting in semi-automatic mode, which will help when your field has a limit on burst/auto fire and no exceptions.

""Personal Experience" Review:
FPS--~410 initially; dropped to ~390 after 10k+ rounds were fired through it. Fairly consistent.
ROF--High. You get a lot out of your battery power with the combination of good internals and a Deans connector.
Accuracy--Great for what it does. You won't be nailing headshots at 200ft, but you get a good grouping for an MG.
Reliability--Consistent. Very few temporary issues.
Build--Good quality externals, but I feel like it won't survive any major fall.
Notes:
Solid mid-high end MG. The only issue I have with it is the magazine. It's expensive, has lower capacity than most other box/bag/drum mags, has issues feeding over long bursts, and has a fairly weak connector piece for the 9V winding battery that broke immediately on the first one I received. It's a major nuisance. I can only recommend it if you're willing to put up with the magazine to have this specific model. Otherwise, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. This is good, but there are better ones out there.

"Got this gun couple months ago, first 5x's i took it out had a great time with it. The gun felt solid everything worked well. But in more recent outing things have started to fall apart quick. My mags feed wont clip on well causing feed issues, the lock to my top hatch fell off, and i stripped my gears fairly quickly.
Also what i did not like is the lack of parts and accessories for the gun, you cant find anything anywhere and have to get creative if you want somethings to work, for example i had a very helpful evike person go through about 5 bipods and we finally found something i could make work.
Anyway, the gun shoots hard and accurate, rate of fire is all great, i just wish for the price they would of make the parts more durable.
Pros:
Very Nice rate of fire
Good feel, feels like a true LMG
Good range
Is totally different than what everyone has.
Cons
Cant get parts easily or even at all
G&P tech support is non existant
Very brittle small parts on the gun (the litle things break easy)
No accessories for the gun, you have to get creative
Overall, i would say hold off on the gun, for the price and the agrivation its better to wait until it becomes more common or GP makes more accessories/parts easily available.
