"hey guys how do you access the battery great magazine
by Michael J. on 09/14/2008
"This one is push button. Right where your hold your gun so its a lot more clean and convenient. Matrix is a good company that makes reliable products. This magazine looks ultra cool on your gun with the mock bullet....very intimidating.

"Question is it only one mag or do you flip it to the other side because to be honest evikes pics of there products suck so I need help from a freindly airsoft to tell me how this think works.

"It works wonderfully on my Krytacs , my Tippman and on a few other rifles in my armory. The issue is it can be really finicky about WHICH rifle it wants to work with. First thing to understand is that this Magazine does NOT fit with every rifle. Do a quick check online to see if anyone has had issues fitting it into the magazine well of the rifle you intend to use it with.

"Great magazine
Pros:
High capacity
Looks cool
Not to big or heavy
Battery held up all day on one charge
Feeds great
Cons:
so far the only problem I have found is the battery plate on the bottom is a bit loose so it fell off and I almost lost my battery. But a little piece of tape fixed that.
Over all this mag has exceeded expectations and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good mag

"So far so good with this mag. It has only seen a couple hours of use so far but I figure it will hold up ok. The bullet tips were already half way unscrewed when bought but was fixed before use. Looks good and serves the purpose of being an auto wind high cap that does not get in the way. I would chooo-chooo-choose this over a box mag or drum mag because it is way more compact.

"Battle Axe hi-cap magazines are very good and wind excellently. The faux bullets are the wrong size though... 5.56mm is bigger around.

"Unboxed it and it was missing the screw for one of the straps. The battery box’s wires are covered with electrical tape fir protection. Other than that been god so far.

"I have played with this mag 4 times now. It does not seat tightly in my JG M4 and i have had to put some electrical tape around the top to keep it snug in the magazine well. The battery does not keep a charge for long. It is usually dead after playing for 45-55 minutes. The sound activation is great when it works, but it usually doesn't keep up if I am using LIPO.
Still, this is a nice way to carry 1000 rds and you can always hit the auto feed switch during the match.
