Pistol worked quite well at the start until after maybe a month in I noticed that the spot on the hammer where it was hitting the gas release was actually flattening itself out, which I thought was odd but didn't pay too much attention to it. This should have been my first clue that something was off.

In under a year, the hammer has since cracked (there is a clean split in the ring, every time I fire it it seems to get more deformed), the slide lock stopped catching properly, the safety doesn't like engaging, and the real nail in the coffin: magazines will fall out from just the slide dropping. I'm assuming this is partially due to the lug on the magazine where it catches getting smoothed out, which makes sense because when I got this the mags were held so tightly that they didn't even drop free.
And the very first time I tried to take out the screw holding the magazine release in so that I could see about trying to fix it, the screw for didn't strip, it *broke* . And when I say "broke" I mean "one of the sides of the slot sheered clean off". I would have to drill it out to remove it.

So in the span of a year I have a pistol with a hammer that cracked under regular use (making me not want to continue using it out of fear that it will completely snap off), that has a safety that doesn't want to engage, and doesn't even properly hold magazines in. Maybe I just got a lemon, but I wouldn't recommend this gun to anyone.

Pros: Outside of defects, the build quality is fine.
Trigger feels great.

Cons: All of the issues listed above.

"i would say i was over ambitious about this purchase. I really thought it would be a decent gun by how it was rated and priced and all but for about 1 year i began to see that it wasn't really holding up that well.

cons:
-safety worked too well (my finger would always accidentally slipped it on to prevent it from firing during some games, it was sad to see).

-trigger pull too sensitive (not as cool as some might think, misfires, or not even firing cuz you probably didn't reset the trigger all the way to fire again.)

-like all guns will experience damage and tamper but the some of my mags were just hard to use since they were simply leaking.

- less than reliable in my opinion.

-just didn't last very long performance wise.

pros:

-other people liked it so i guess its good for them.

-1911 styles are cool


I would like to get better experience with further guns in the future.
