"Very solid construction for metal rail upper and lower receiver
Great pairing with the 13:1 gears and 16 tpa motor and the micro switch trigger is very nice. Great FPS and ROF. Also the trigger board can be replaced with a gate THANKS YOU Cyma.

With all that been said the Hop Up unit is trash and the nozzle should have been upgraded.

Two thumbs up field test and worked perfectly, Very happy with my MK18 for under $300

Conclusion.
Cyma has set the new standard with their platinum series m4 , overwhelmingly are the most recommended brand and bang for ur buck for both ak and m4 platforms. Usually i have to replace parts on high end guns but the internals in this gun is practically perfect stock aside from a new bucking and nozzle. Even the iron sight where not cheap at all and are actually one of the most if not the best built sights on a gun out of the box. Trigger response is very snappy and a high ROF ....will be installing DSG gears to use a 7.4 lipo to ease the stress on the ETU

"Purchased the Mk18 version April of 2023 and have put about 40k bbs through it since then only running it on 11.1 lipos. I havent had any issues with the mofet yet and spam semi like crazy and run fully auto all the time at 25ish rps. Definitely a great gun stock or upgraded!

"Quality externals and well performing gearbox… just one thing. This gun with the stock hop up unit, bucking and nub is essentially useless. The stock gun is iOS pretty poor out of the box as far as the hop up goes. It was barely hopping .25s at 75-100ft. I immediately brought it to my local shop and totally replaced the entire unit and bucking and a 6.03 barrel in and it’s one of the best performing guns I’ve ever owned and used in game. If the HopUp was at least somewhat useable I’d give 5 stars.

"Great gun worked great out of the box wires did pinch very easily but besides that gray performing gun out of the box though I could not find a place where I could buy another lower receiver for it because I wanted to do a project build with the same body if you know where I can get one reply

"As others have mentioned, this gun is perfect aside from the stock hop, rubber, and nozzle.. My bucking was damaged out of the box and the gun woudln't feed. I replaced the hop unit with a EMG MAXX ME hop, which didnt work without filing the stock nozzle down and sanding the fake bolt retainer (it's a little piece of plastic in the body that prevents the metal bolt from flopping around) down. The stock CYMA nozzle is about 21.67mm, and the EMG unit is only "supposed" to work with 21mm--21.25mm nozzles. after filing the nozzle down I'm now making around 1.45-1.47J with .32 BB's using the EMG MAXX ME Sport Hop, stock barrel, and a prometheus blue bucking that I put some teflon tape on to help seat it in the unit.

"This is by far the snappiest and fastest stock gun I have ever owned. With the 13:1 gears, motor, and micro switch, you can achieve a very short and fast trigger pull. I switched the standard trigger for a maxx trigger, and with the adjustable feature a hair trigger can be achieved. The only reason why I am giving it 4 stars id because the hopup unit is trash. It was having an extremely hard time hopping .2 and .25g bbs 40-50 yards. I wound up switching out the bucking and unit but the barrel is fine.

This is an excellent replica for the price. Most likely the beset bang for your buck for a MK18 trademarks are deeply engraved and all around the handguard, upper, and lower receiver. The hop up makes this gun unusable. At this price point its a bit embarrassing since you're paying a "premium" price for a terrible hop up. This must be replaced immediately to make this replica field-able.

Overview:
This is a great MK18 for the asking price. It is though disappointing that at this price the hop up is unusable even for .28g bbs. This could be my replica I received but it appears others are having this same issue. No sharp edges on the hand guard and the trade marks look good if you're into that. If you're going for a MK18 look/loadout this is reasonably priced compared to other MK18s. Just change the whole hop up system and should perform as expected.

"One of my good friends and I both bought one of these in July of last year (350fps version). Out of the box it works great. A couple of things that will need upgrading: the plastic nozzle isn't great, the bearings won't last long, and you'll likely want a proper MOSFET as well. Long term our gearbox cases slowly failed with either small cracks or no longer being tight around the bearings. So while it performs wel and looks and feels great, I wouldn't expect this to last a year without needing upgrades or repairs if you play regularly (like every other week).
