"Do not hesitate to get this pistol. I was n00b enough to buy a WE 1911, and didn't get a single game out of it. This thing is sooo superior in build and function. It is nice and hefty; very satisfying to hold and use. It is wonderful for QCB.

This is a surprisingly large pistol, and doesn't even fit in the old Bianchi military full-flap, nor my large-auto thigh rig. However, it fits perfectly in my SADF canvas full-flap, as well as some Uncle Mike's and Blackhawk! nylon belt rigs. I know there's a Serpa that would fit.

I have no idea what the crying is about the mag not fitting patches. While it might not fit molded/form-fitting duty pouches, every nylon pouch and rig I've tried so far accommodates it.

"I got this gun on sale when it was only $120, but it certainly is worth the $150! The recoil on the gun is strong and the trademarks look great. The mag I have became leaky after a few days, but I fixed it by putting some tape on the seal of the CO2 Cartridge. I have heard that the safety was very easy to turn on/off if in a holster, but mine seems very secure. It is somewhat stiff, but only to a point where the safety will not be going on/off and can still be comfortably pushed with one finger. I added a flashlight attachment to the gun, and It only makes look so much cooler! The front of the slide has somewhat cheap feeling plastic, but over the past two months of using it, there have been no problems. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great pistol that goes above and beyond!

"This is a great gun, the mag is pretty hefty and makes up most of the guns weight. The gun feels super good in the hands. I got 5 mags off of 1 co2 and and 10 or so shots after the 5th mag. The mags hold 22 rds. The gun shoots far and is really accurate. Can't get enough of this gun. It's so much fun to shoot and it makes one of the best side arms

"I have a kwa pistol along with this one and I prefer this pistol. The range is excellent, has great recoil along and really packs a punch. Only pistol I own that hurts at 50 feet. My only concern is that you must use .25g bb's with this pistol. It will have trouble cycling anything lighter 5/5 for sure

"My pros and cons relate with all of the other people's reviews before mine. Right out of the box, this gun practically shot straight upwards. This was an easy fix as the gun is very easy to take apart (instructions are in the manual). In the hot Texas heat, the gas expands, so I'm able to get more clips off than others. Right out of the box, a single Co2 cartridge gave me six and a half clips, so I'm extremely satisfied. (My friends M1911 can only get off 3-4 clips.)

Pros:
-Co2 Conservation
-Easy to adjust the hop up
-Polymer is more solid than it seems
(Everybody else's unmentioned pros go here)

Cons:
-Magazines are HUGE! So I need to look more before buying decent sized pistol pouches.

"Marushin's FN Five-Seven is rather one of the most arguably gratifying pistols that I've ever gotten access to...
PROS
Amazingly constructed
Polymer feels solid
Crisp and strong kick
Accurate
Weight and balance
Gas consumption (I've got 12 mags out of a single CO2 cartridge)
CONS
Fat yet thick mags (They'll fit in Condor or Phantom Gear pistol pouches)
The price bestowed on the mags

"The FN Five- seveN is currently my only gbb pistol and man is it one great side arm, the pistol is licensed by cybergun and its made by Marushin in Japan its built like a rock, the recoil is crisp and has the same recoil as the real one ( maybe a tad more.) Holds 22+1 and it can shot 2-3 mags on a cold day ( still don't know how many in the summer.) The pistol is light with out the mag and heavy with the mag inserted. Balanced when I hold it with one hand. Pair this with The P90 and it looks great. The pistol fits in a tornado holster but looks better in a Black Hawk holster. ( their available on Amazon for around $30 or so.)

Pros: light ( could be a con)
Has trade marks
Holds 22+1 ( the previous model I belive only held 18 rounds) and are full metal even the mag lips.
Rails
Recoil
It's Co2 consumption is great.
Cons: mags are expensive
Safety is located in front of the trigger (no big deal but when I holster it into the black hawk holster it somehow activates it such got me out in some games.)
Light (could be a pro.)
The polimer feels a bit flimsy (but it survived 4 drops from the holster.)

"This Five-seveN is my main sidearm! I've used this gun for over a year now and it's still shooting like new. It's very comfortable to hold, but can be a large grip for some people. The kick is fun and it adds to the realism. It's amazingly accurate for close-quarter engagements or room clearing. The metal CO2 magazine is basically where all the weight in the gun comes from. I get about 80-90 shots per mag before it runs out of gas, which is fantastic. The rear sight is made of metal and is adjustable for windage and elevation. Get a P-90 or AR-57 to complement this!

PROS:
Sturdy polymer material, not cheap plastic
Textured handgrip
FN Herstal Trademarks
Gas Blow Back Awesomeness!
Looks great when using a P-90 or AR-57 as a primary
Easy to use metal magazine
Ambidextrous controls (mag release can be switched to either side)

CONS:
Magazines are large, but can fit in a Single Condor Pistol Magazine Pouch
No bungee retention sling point

"This pistol is amazing! Its on par with the Elite Force 1911 with accuracy and blowback.

Pros: Steel Frame Slide (Just like the real pistol
25rd mag
Ambidextrous Mag release and safety
Can shoot really fast without problems
Almost no co2 leak when putting in a new cartridge
Easy to disassemble
Perfect for people with FN loadouts (I hava a FN M249 FN Scar FN P90 ya know its FN awesome *wink *wink)
Parts are easy to find now

Cons: Really REALLY fat mag (Doesn't fit in alot of mag holders)
Safety is really easy to engage
Some areas of the slide feel flimsy (The Narrowed down section of the pistol)
Mag release is tricky to swap over to lefty
You dont have it

"The gun feels a little bit fragile but i shortly found out that this thing can take a beating. its durable, very lightweight, accurate and gets great range for a pistol. the hop-up is kind of difficult to adjust because you have to take the slide off, but once you get it set its staying set. i have small hands and there are complaints about the guns grip being too big, but personally i love it. and for that one guy that always asks this; yes it does fit holsters made for the real five seven.

Pros
Lightweight
very accurate
great range
durable

cons
expensive mags
hop-up is a pain to get too

I recommend this pistol to anyone who wants a lightweight, and very accurate pistol.

Pros

comes with double stack mag

cons
none

"This is an absolutely amazing handgun! The recoil is comparable to that of the Elite Force 1911's, its VERY efficient on gas, and build quality is awesome.

Pros:
nice recoil
balanced weight
co2 (could be con)
efficient as hell
accurate

Cons:
mags are HUGE, may have trouble finding mag pouches to fit them
mags are over $30
orange tip is obnoxious, and difficult to remove but is very small
you dont have one yet

"This is a really awesome yet unique airsoft gun.
pros: nice kick, accurate, good mag capacity
cons: plastic (the real five seven is but it feels a little cheap) hop up is really stiff (kinda a con for me) mags are expensive
Over all this is the best pistol I ever had! Buy it you will not regret it!

"I love this pistol I didn't buy it online i got it at a swap meet super cheap. I had it for alittle over a year and the previous owner had it for 2. And about a few mouths ago the hammer and slide release broke. Idk if I will be able to fix it because they dont sell replacement parts so I'm stuck with a paper weight

Pros
Light weight
Kicks nice
Sounds nice
Accurate
Makes heads turn when seen

Cons
Plastic body is alittle weak
Mags alittle pricey
