Angel Custom AP10 9mm Airsoft AEG M4 M16 to MP5 Adapter Conversion Kit (Package: Converter Only)

"Got mine today!

For the guy below, I find it easier to remove the adapter with the MP5 magazine in it. Otherwise the unit is embedded and you will have no leverage to pull on. With the Mp5 mag inside, you press the M4 mag release and it slides out easily.

Also, the instruction is printed on the box itself. A small area to shave to fit some tighter receivers like the KWA. For most Marui specification or ICS, it should fit without any modification.

I have always wanted a 9mm AR and this is way better than the UZI conversion kit which I also have. The material is made much better on this Angel custom version. The warhead is made out of cheap plastic and the uzi magazine simply is no match for MP5 mags.

"Just received and it doesn’t click when insert my Mp5 mag and can be pulled out in going to test more but it fit into my AEG m4 from classic army perfect

"works absolutely fantastic with all of my mp5 magazines, whether polymer mag brand or metal cyma. i used this in my arcturus-based polymer m4 and it worked spectacular. when i switched to an a&k metal lower receiver the adapter itself or mags no longer fit because the a&k receiver is too big, but it's still a fantastic product. also fun for throwing a curveball at the chrono guy :D

"This does not fit with regular mp5 magazines, at least the ones I bought. I got the elite force polymer mags for like 6.50 I think. I had to cut the notch in the mag just a little bit at the top for it to hold the mags in place, and even then if the mag is pushed to the right just a bit it will fall out. Not very stable, not sure how it works with the ap10 mags.

"Fits my Lancer Tactical KAC PDW with no wiggle. Affirmative *click* with metal mags, not with plastic mags though. Be prepared to lose about the last 15 BBs at the end of each mag because they don't all get pushed up through the mechanism into the hop-up unit. Gives your gun an interesting look if you want switch it up.

"This is fun kit to buy :)

However, sometimes adapter will be very stiff when you use it, I have three of AP10 adapters and one of them is not usable at all for most of my guns because of its thickness.

i grinned right and left side pretty a lot but still hard to fir and barely holds magazines and I lost 3 mags

"Just received in the mail form an order I put in 6 days ago. I live in California and opted for the lo cost shipping.

It is a good design with a minor flaw other than what has been posted about sanding the plastic casting tabs down. Which I had to do to fit into my full-metal G&G M4. The minor flaw is with the release latch that hits the mp5 mag. It is too short to the point that you can tilt the mag forward and it can fall out. If that metal release latch can be a few mm longer it would not have that problem. It does not latch on like your mp5's.

My MP5 mags are the original all metal Tokyo Marui 200 rds and 50 rds. As well as a 220rds shorty mag. All have the tendency to fall out with a bump forward. As long as I don't have my hands on my mag and a bump forward while playing I don't have to worry.

It is a cool looking conversion!

"It is a great mag converter since I might convert my M4 to a MPX, however for my G&G M4 I had to cut off the 3 knobs that were blocking it from entering my magwell. Pretty good but I expected it to work out of the box.

"Bought this because i'm running an mp5k with my m4 and being able to use mp5 mags with my m4 when I run out of m4 mags sounds like a great idea! I run a G&P GP16 and this is too big for the magwell of the gun. But if you sand the side that comes in contact with your magwell the most it fits like a glove!

Pros:

*It's relatively cheap
*Makes my m4 look special
*I can run mp5 mags when I run out of m4 mags!

Cons:

*Had to sand it down for it to fit in my magwell
*Won't take my plastic Umarex mid caps (They fall out very easily)

In conclusion I would recommend this for someone who wants a cool new look for their m4 with some practical use if they run a mp5 series gun as a sidearm!

"Today I got my hands on one of these in store. It seemed to be made with quality materials and the mp5 mags fit perfectly.

The only problem was that the casting fill locations protrude, so sanding must be done to fit it in the m4 magwell seemlessly.

I will wait till mine is shipped to me to see how much work it is to fit in an ICS.

"Like every other comment said it doesn’t feel like it locks into place with the MP five mags almost pull you can pull it out three out of five

"Cool concept, but needs improvement on the design. The problem that I was facing was that the magazine well in my gun (EMG Helios / Sharps Bros "Jack" Licensed M4 Airsoft AEG Rifle 7") was too big, causing the MP5 mags to completely fall out because there was nothing to keep them from moving around. Found that someone was also having this problem and designed shims to glue to the adapter that can be 3d printed. but I wanted to give another shot at fixing it while my printer was busy and used 2mm sticky craft foam (the adhesive is already on one side, so it's just like a sticker)

I tried a few different things with a single sheet of craft foam, and was able to get it to work by putting a block of foam inside on the right(when looking down the sights) of the magazine well, then I placed about an inch of foam on the sides of my "Umarex 95rd Magazine for H&K MP5 Series Airsoft AEG Rifle". This caused enough friction to keep the magazines in place, and the craft foam can be removed later if needed without damage to my gun

"Just got mine today, right out of the box I needed to do some modifications to the plastic "nubs" on the sides of it, to even make it fit in my mag well. I also bought the Angel Customs AP10 straight mags they recommended because I didn't have any MP5 mags. While they do fit into the gun (After some modding and forcing) the magazines skew off the left of the my gun and no matter how many times I push it the opposite direction it just comes right back. While it doesn't effect the feeding of the magazine (yet), its just an aesthetic thing for me. I'm not sure if its just the magazines or if its the kit, but so far the kit is pretty nice.
