A&K M16A4 SPR NS15 Airsoft AEG Rifle LiPo Ready Airsoft AEG

by Dan K. on 06/23/2016
"Excellent Rifle. Runs great. Accuracy is prime as long as you run .23-.25bbs in it. No complaints on ROF. Excellent Range. Crane stock is great for cheek-weld, but getting the battery in the crane stock is a crap shoot.

Pros: Range, ROF, accuracy, Crane stock and Quad rail included.

Cons: Trouble fitting the battery in the stock, it just takes some work though. Hop up sometimes resets when you release the charging handle to adjust, you just gotta release it slowly. A little heavy, I recomend getting a forward grip to offset the weight since it is VERY front heavy as far as airsoft rifles go, so if you're tiny dont buy it cause after 2 hrs of gaming your arm will want to fall off.

"Honestly, I don't know much about airsoft. I'm quite new, and when searching for a gun to start with, I was looking for one similar to the one I was trained with. I ended up finding this one, and boy I am happy I did.

Pros:
It's very accurate (Just saying, I don't have any other airsoft guns to compare it with, but if I look through the sights and hit what i'm looking at, I say that pretty accurate)
Its very durable (I've had it since early December and it still works like new)
It really easy to hold, and the foregrip really helps.
Fully automatic has a perfect speed between the "shoots like an electric Nerf gun" and "can this be considered a lazer" speed, so it shoots fast but doesn't empty the mag.
With all that metal it's surprisingly light.
Cons:
The battery sometimes shakes in the stock, but can be easily muffled with a piece of fabric like a sock.
I had to reconnect some of the wires, but that's probably because I screwed up with the battery.

"Had this gun since October and can safely say that its one of the best guns I've owned not completely metal but thats okay. If you're swapping over from a smaller gun (like i did) it will be a bit different to play with. I had it chrono in at 420. So far I've had no jams

Pros
Lightweight
Shoots far
Very Accurate
Shoots smooth
No jams (yet)

Cons
Not full metal

"Good gun for beginners, intermediate players, and probably even pros. I dont really think its FULL metal as its quite lightweight and the upper reciever feels like polymer. The stock is also plastic. Overall, its a good gun and i havent had any problems with it in the month that i have had it. And i've only used it in one war. If you throw on the included grip, PEQ box, and sling, along with a birdcage flashhider it looks sweet!
Pros:
~400 FPS
Lightweight
Accurate at 100+ feet

Cons:
Not really full metal

"Let me start off by saying this is not my first airsoft gun by any means. I have had this gun for about six months now and run it through multiple games and top it off with a 8 hour day at my local cqc field. This gun performs flawlessly. I had one problem with the gun. Once, a bb got stuck in the barrel because of a half trigger pull. However the easy breakdown allowed me to clear the jam with no effort at all ( although being honest it scared me to death). The RIS had worked flawlessly for me and had the thing as overloaded as it gets. If you get the hop-up dialed in it is really accurate. Its not a sniper, but it is close. The Fps is a little hot but also makes it good at range. The rate of fire is just right, not to fast but not slow either. It is not idea for cqc but can work if you know how to use it. Lastly it is heavy, it will wear you out over the course of the day especially in a cqc style scenario. Finally the battery compartment can take anything you want it to. To eliminate battery rattle you can just shove a rag or something into your stock. I changed my RIS out for a magpul rifle length hand guard. It needed slight modification but it fits nicely now and looks awesome.

Pros:
-Excellent externals
-Perfect ROF
-Good FPS
-Accurate
-Durable

Cons:
- Length for cqc. Duh, its an m16
- Can get heavy over the course of the day

All things considered its a great gun. 5/5

"this gun is awesome!
So i bought this gun and as always, it came about 2 days early. The first thing I noticed was how heavy the gun in the box was. Although this was at first one of the only cons, I quickly got over this. Now on to the actual review. The gun is heavy but that is really fine. Everything that evike.com said would come with it totally did: a 3 point sling, the gun, a 8.4v battery, a standard charger (get a smart charger), a sexy black 300 round hi-cap magazine, a vertical grip, 2 black rail covers, and a second stock ring with no sling adapter. Now directly on to the gun. At first very heavy (can't stress this enough), the gun has a VERY high rate of fire, and i chronoed it at 350 with .25's. the R.I.S. was very reliable at first, but after a couple hours of playing with it, it became very loose twisting to the right any time you put any pressure on it. also the carry handle is really heavy. well i guess thats it. Now for pros and cons
pros
high rof
high fps
sexy gun
nice hi cap

cons
heavy at first
3 point sling didnt come with a buttstock harness
the battery rattles in the stock (easy fix: put it in a sock)
loose rails

"Evike as an Army Ranger i personally thank you for your excellent services. This weapon system is top of the line it fires about 100 rounds per minute on full auto with a fresh charge, My standard issue M16 that the military gave me shoots 150 rounds per minute. Fps is great max is 440 better than all those other websites so called "good AEG's".

BOTTOM LINE: If Evike sells it, It's a good weapon.

"Could not believe there was no review for this weapon, so here goes. I bought this for my son about 6 months ago and let me tell you, we own more than 35 other guns and this is one of the best I have ever seen or worked on. Out of the box it's rock solid, but the all metal RIS system makes it a bit heavy. The gear box is simply awesome, well made and well shimmed with the 120 sprint it's a great performer. With 8mm bearings, high torque gears and a metal toothed piston it's all good and can handle a 140 with no other mods. Stock it's was shooting around 417 fps, a great field gun that hold up.

Pros
Great build quality
Awesome gearbox
Great externals
Very durable
Lip ready and tested
Accurate as a snipers.

Cons
A bit heavy, not bad if that's what you like, solid
Front sight really is terrible, but easily removed and replaced
Upper reciever is tight requires a bit of grinding to upgrade hop up
Upper reciever fits very tightly and a bit strangely into lower reciever, just fun to reassemble

Overall a great gun, far better than its price and easily competing with the $500 guns out there, if you can only buy one gun, and want it to be rugged, durable and a great performer, buy this one. We have 20k rounds or more through it and it's great. The matrix pro line has really set the standard and I expect great things to come, great internals.

"Bought mine to convert to a mk12 DMR build and as of now mine is essential fully upgraded other than a mosfet

Externals:
Metal everywhere it should be. Feels very solid, wouldn’t be scared to drop it or anything. The metal does scratch relatively easily, but i don’t mind because i don’t need my guns looking perfect. I like that battle worn look. The hand guard does have some slight wobble to it, however that’s basically all delta ring style rails. The pistol grip with enough force can have some flex to it, but other than those two things it’s all solid. Lastly there’s no functioning bolt catch if you care about that.

Internals:
From what I’ve seen there’s no mosfet and the battery is wired to Tamiya through the stock of course (which seems like it can hold 80 batteries). It has a full cylinder, polycarb piston with full metal teeth, Pom piston head with a single o ring and a Pom cylinder head with dual o rings if i remember correctly. The nozzle was the weak point of the compression (no o ring on the plastic nozzle and air easily leaked out). The motor was decent enough

Performance:
Gun is fairly accurate and has nice range, but out the box struggled to hop .30s and up. Struggled to even feed and would sometimes double feed or just plop out a bb a few feet away. Stock hop unit is the old school kind, not a rotary. ROF is fine but i didn’t care about the full auto anyway.

Overall I’m happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone looking for a metal m16. If you want an actual spr, it’d be much cheaper to get one of the actual SPRs rather than trying to convert this like me.

"So far I am really liking this gun, just took it to its first game and it preformed pretty decently. So far my main problem is that it was experiencing feeding issues with double feeding or not firing, I fixed it by swapping out the stock unit for a new one.

Pros:
-Quad rail has space for days
-Style points
-Battery space
-Lipo ready
-Long boi
-Heavy for the realism/emersion factor
-Removing the spring from the gearbox without opening it is a major plus (not as easy as the cyma qbs but still great)

Cons:
-Not really suitable for cqb (long boi)
-Feeding issues, easily fixable
-Does not come with carry handle
-Heavy for younger players

If you like the m16a4 this is a solid choice

"Overall, I like this airsoft gun, but I want to give it 4 stars because I didn't receive the 2 rail guards that were listed as included, the included handgrip broke apart on the first installation, and the stock is a little wobbly where it meets the receiver. Other than that, the gun fires great and looks and feels sturdy.

"I received this gun about 2 months ago and so far am pretty impressed. fps is at 387 with.25g bb's and I'd say its pretty accurate out to 160 to 170 feet. the gun really is full metal and pretty dang sturdy, no wobble, stock is solid and receivers, charging handle, sights and outer barrel all feel pretty good. the finish on the gun marks up pretty easy but not a big deal. hop up adjustment is a little loose but hop works very well to get the range you need. but sadly when I got it, the Tamiya connectors to the battery we crossed on the gun, so when plugged into battery red went to black and black to red causing it to short and pop the fuse. it was a pretty easy fix thanks to my friend and works fine now. I use a 9.6 and it has a pretty high rof. also the selector switch is messed up. if you mash the trigger on semi it'll go semi but if you just lightly touch it goes full auto, and if its on safe you can still pull the trigger and fire it. I also found the receiver pins to have hex screws on the end which stripped out when I went to open them. lastly the pins holding the front triangle sight on are loose and one fell out but sight still stays on. pros: good fps good range sturdy good rof realistic weight (about 9 pounds) full metal cons: had crossed wires, hex screws stripped and now I cant get into gun, loose triangle sight pins, touchy selector switch
