"My honest review....
I was looking for an HPA gun that was not going to break the bank. I literally just started playing Airsoft (I'm 34) and was looking for something that would last me awhile, or at least until I got bored of it. I was doing some research and found the Tippmann M4. I did a lot of research on this rifle before I bought it. I knew all the tricks and problems with it before I made the purchase. I can honestly say I am not disappointed with my decision. Tippmann has great customer service. If you something breaks just send them an email, and they will replace it.
PROS: This thing runs hot right out of the box. Which is good because it can be dialed down. If you are running a DMR setup its perfect. Also, if you are running a 400 FPS limit, then all it takes is a little tuning with the allen key provided to turn it down.
This thing does not need a battery. That was one of the reasons I really wanted it.
Milspec weapon, which means all milspec or real steal compatible parts will work on this weapon.
Metal body and completely pneumatic.
HPA, if you run this, buy the tank and line. Does not need a regulator, (can also be a con).
Blowback is really nice.
CONS: The HOP UP, the hop up on this rifle is absolutely GARBAGE. Luckily some research will help, just get a drop in hop up mod or (TDC Hop up) you will not be disappointed.
CO2, although its nice to have the option, its really not practical. The mags only hold 80rds and you do not use all the CO2, so when you go to change mags, the mag does not want to come out. They are making a 120rd mag. Have not tested it though.
No regulator, mean you use a lot of air fast. I use a 3000psi tank and I can usually last the whole day. But if you run full auto all the time then you will use a lot more air. I usually run Semi only.
Remember people this is not a polar star. If you are looking for something like a polar star then this is not for you. Also if you are not mechanically inclined or know someone who is then this is not for you. If you run this only CQB then you should be fine. If you are trying to get some distance right of the box then nah bro. Remember do some research.
