"This pistol looks great and throughout about ten mags its been a champ. it's a bit hard to field strip and re assemble. when I finished the tenth mag i noticed a small scratch on the barrel near the action as well as multiple paint chips and scratches inside the gun. so far the damage has only been cosmetic but I fear it will escalate. it is a solid contender for any sidearm or even a primary.

"The second i saw it i knew i wanted this pistol. Ive heard amazing things from aw for the price. Lemme start with a few complaints.
-Mags fill weird(maybe my fault becuase im new to green gas)
-the front half of slide gets wobbily and comes slightly out of place
-there is just a little unnessisary travel on the trigger. Not too much but enough to complain
-slide catch doesnt work sometimes. Again this could be my fault if im not filling the mags right
Now pros
-cheap. Not in quality just in price
-shoots really good
-looks amazing
This is my first hi capa and first green gas gun. It is my favorite gun. Ive had it for about 2 weeks and it played its first game today. It did good. Like its supposed to witch is good for this price. Its worth it.

"Godly for the price, since I don't really care how it looks (although it helps), just how it shoots. Only problem is that the slide doesn't lock back when it's out, which is pretty bad

"Bought May 24 2020.
Lasted 3 months of heavy use. I use Hicapas as my primary for indoor and outdoor play. 1 day of games can see 1000bbs through a pistol.
Really nice looking hicapa which is what AW Custom does.
Pros.
Gas efficient, 2.5 - 3 mags out of 1 fill in WE and AW mags.
Standard 330ish fps
Aesthetically pleasing
Disassembles 99% like normal hicapa
Significantly lighter than a stock WE tech hicapa.
Cons
Stock hopup rubber cant lift .30g bbs. stock rubber only good for close range.
Hopup unit doesn't stay set even with screws locktighted. Constantly cannot hold the set hopup.
The outer barrel is 2 pieces superglued together and come apart EXTREMELY quickly. like. not even 300bbs through it.
Blowback housing is EXTREMELY weak. Broke after maybe 2000 bbs all on propane/green gas.
Spring guide plug and spring guide are easily scratched under normal use. Both are very soft metals.
The combination of hopup, outer barrel and blowback housing problems resulted in me not wanting to sink any more money into this and it is now a parts pistol in my collection. (only upgrade costs were a new bucking)
If you want a flashy hicapa and will use this as a sidearm this might be okay for you. Anything heavier usage then dont get this.

"This is a decent pistol. Although I'm very bias against WE (Armorer Works is OEMd by WE) This is an okay pistol. It shoots hard enough with .25s at around 300 fps. Being a cqb only player and a hi capa enthusiast, I thought this pistol looked great and it has been working well for the 5 months that I had it. After that, the pistol literally fell apart on me. The bbu was shattered due to it being made of cheap pot metal, and the hop up has stopped working. I know everyone likes pro/con lists so here's mine;
Pros:
Recoil is snappy and crisp due to split slide
F/O front & rear sights help a lot
Light trigger pull, pre upgraded internals
Comes with a plate to put on a Doctor style red dot and a 11mm CW/14mm CCW thread adapter
Compatible with WE's NG3 parts which can be found here at Evike
Front half of slide does not move, so it feels like the front F/O sight is on a sight tracker
Cons:
Its WE :(
Paint scratches very easily
Cheap China metal means below average durability
There is a plastic seam in the undercut that sort of sticks out (it really bothered me so I took a screwdriver and scraped it down)
It completely fell apart in a few months
Hop up unit broke somehow, blowback housing is in 9 different pieces, 6.03 stock barrel is slightly warped

Maybe my standards are too high for this gun, but it's not all that bad. You could build it if you wanted to with a Airsoft Masterpiece Two Two kit and a Prime grip and have a much better gun in my opinion but if u don't want to spend tons of money or just want a fun gun for plinking you should probably get this gun.
