AW Custom Hi-Capa Competition Grade Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistol (Color: Flat Dark Earth / Gun Only)

"UPDATE-
I took the magazine apart and gave it a good cleaning. Reassembled and lubricated with feflon/ silicone spray. Magazine now functions as designed. I can now get about 65 rounds thru it on a full magazine. EXCELLENT!!

"Beautiful peace of machinery. Incredibly durable metal upper. The grip is a bit larger than what I am used to, but still has a nice textured grip. I have owned this gun for 6 months and have put around 5,000 rounds through it. I only ever had problems with the magazines from WE being slightly gas inefficient, never from the gun itself jamming. Beats Tokyo Marui externally, but slightly lower internal quality.

Pros:
Full metal upper
Easy to change hop up (by removing upper)
PERFECT for indoor use, fires at 330fps ~1 Joule with 0.20g
beautiful fiber optic sights, though one of mine in the rear broke and I ordered replacements
smooth trigger pull
realistic, heavy weight
Crisp kick that doesn't interfere with target aligning
Incredible accuracy, even at ~100 feet
Cons:
Safety can get in the way if you unholster and accidentally switch it on.
Mag release is near trigger finger for leftys (such as myself). I dropped a few mags on accident.
Slightly large grip (may be difficult for VERY small hands), but very manageable.
OEM (Original Engineer Manufacturer) by WE, but the quality is excellent.

"I bought this pistol as my first one and enjoyed it a lot. The realistic blow back is nothing compared to the kick and sound it makes. Lets just say I scared someone and watched them jump a mile. Many likes as I strapped it on my side. Just a recommendation don't use a drop holster for this. It will disengage the mag and you will lose it. It happened to me twice.

"I love the pistol a lot and it shots like a laser after hop up adjustment but if you shot fast it does a burst so i might need to change my spring but it is a very good pistol for cqb so i recomend it👍👍

The AW Custom Hi-capa, let me be the first to say that pistol is one of the best out of box hi-capas i've ever used in my life!
Okay so to start out the gun itself is built very sturdy and doesn't really feel too heavy or light, it's at a very good weight. the next thing is that the stock internals are good, now I say good because they could be better, but that's up to you to do if you so please, but that doesn't mean they are bad, not at all! And the final big selling point has to be the trigger pull, and let it be know that this pistol has a EXTREMELY light trigger pull. Now are some of my gripes, WARNING: The stock mag that is given to you straight out of the box is not that good. it has malfunctioned on me twice and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting the WE 5.1 52r Green Gas magazine if you can as it helps with magazine capacity, and the stock mag problem. Next would be the over-oiling I received with mine. Now that may not seem like its that bad, and it really isn't, it's just about the appearance as the gold outer-barrel will be COVERED in that stuff. But besides that this gun is an all around beast gun that has very minor, if not, ignorable problems that can all be solved!

HERE'S MY SIMPLIFIED LIST FOR YOU:

PROS:
- Solid build
- Light trigger pull
- Amazing apperance
- Can fit TM parts (If you want)
- Comes with tiny rail to fit a Pistol sight to the rear iron sights location
- Good Internals
- Very accurate out of the box

CONS:
- Mag that comes with gun is horrible
- To much internal oiling
- Could use some better internals (But again, you can change them if you want!)

Overall I would give this gun a 9.5/10 with a slight reduction over the mag thing, but besides that everything else about the pistol is absolutely amazing!

"I believe I bought the last one before they sold out, and let me say that I am glad that I did. I came back just to say how good and sturdy this gun feels right out of the box. I also ordered a couple of co2 mags since I had a bunch of cartridges laying around.

First game with this, and it was on point. no hop up adjustment needed out of the box, slide locks back on empty every time and mags feed flawlessly. the only problem i had with the co2 mags is when firing too many shots in rapid succession would cause some type of leak on the top of the mag where the co2 gets used. (im not an expert on airsoft/gun terms, still new to this). But, taking the mag out and putting it back in immediately fixes the problem. and from what i can find from research i think this is because co2 is extremely cold. just my guess.

other than that 9/10 would recommend.

"I'm quite pleased with my purchase of the non split frame two-tone version.
It's pretty durable, mine took a tumble half-way down a flight of stairs. It appears to be perfectly fine.
4 stars because there are a few parts that get scratched when fired (the paint on the outside is fine).

"Really good gun accurate shots and amazing feel in my hand, the only downside is that the paint chips pretty easily. Also would not buy this from evike because it took a month just for mine to ship out. But buy from anywhere else and you're good.

"So to start off, this was my first gas blow back pistol I've ever purchased. I don't necessarily know what to expect from this brand of pistol, but I would say that it is an amazing pistol. It has some ridiculous trigger response(hence the split frame), and It doesn't need much maintenance, aside from lubricating the internals. So far, I've had two problems with this pistol. The rear sight on the pistol itself was very cheap and fell off the first or second time test firing it in my backyard. I also noticed that the thumb safety on the right side is pretty loose and eventually fell off. Both of these parts are very cheap and easy to replace though, so don't hesitate to do so. Overall, i'd say that this is a great side arm, and if you carry enough clips then you should be able to use it as a primary(jk I know it's mags you got pranked, stop raging lmao). I would recommend this to anybody looking for nice pistol if they don't want to build a custom pistol. Thx to anybody who actually read through my review lol.

"I bought this and at my first game the pin fell out in the rear. Stops the right safety switch from working. Only problem I've had you can buy spare pins for 8 dollars. I would suggest superglue or something to stop falling out in the first place.

"This is my very first gas blow back pistol I've bought, and when I first got it I thought nothing more of it it's like a normal GBB pistol, but when I shot it the trigger response, and shear snappiness of the gun made it for me a great buy. One problem I had with it though was that (may be just on my gun) the safety on the right side when is up with the hammer down tends to wiggle and may fall off, but besides that its a great first GBB pistol and at a good cost.
