"First impressions were great. Realistic feel and operation but orange tip does have to be removed for the gun to work. Took it out for first time and drug it through the mud on accident but it still worked fine.
Pros:
Great looks, feel, and weight
Durable
and realistic operation/disassembly

Cons:
Goes through CO2 REALLY fast (only about 1 1/2 mags to a cartridge)
No hop up adjustment
Low magazine capacity

"First off it it a gorgeous gun, love it, but when pulling it out mine had some trouble with the slide catching and getting wedged in the barrel, and by some trouble I mean an unrealistic amount, as soon as you use it once, it will be stuck. However, if you take out the inner barrel, and sand it down to size it should work, then you will have a great gun. It just takes some lovin to get goin.

"Ok, so I got a replacement Luger recently because my first one was defective, and I ran into the same problem others have been having. The Luger fires once, and than it jams and doesn't fire again.

I want to say right now, buy this gun when it's available, because it's actually a great airsoft pistol, and this problem can easily be fixed in 5 minutes.

All you have to do is boil water, place the tip of the gun in the water, let it sit for a bit, and than remove the orange tip. The orange tip that's placed on last minute to let the gun be sold in the USA pushes back on the inner barrel, which makes the gun unable to function.

Once removed, the gun will function perfectly, and can go through about 3-4 full mags before the Co2 runs out.

Fires nicely
Good recoil and awesome blowback
Decent Co2 gas efficiency

Cons:
The orange tip has to be removed in order to make the gun work

"It arrived just as scheduled. It is just about all full metal. Very nice weight to it. I did have a problem though. When I first tried firing the gun it would not work. After about an hour of pulling the trigger, cocking it, looking inside to find the problem, it fixed itself. The orange tip popped off. Turns out the inner diameter of the orange tip is smaller than the outer diameter of the barrel. It would not let the gun cock all the way. After the tip popped off it worked just dandy! With 20g and 25g BBS it shoots accurately up to about 100 feet. After that the non adjustable hopup sends the BBS flying up a lot of times. I'm gonna get some 30 gram BBS and see if I can get the bb to go straight longer. I get a very consistent 3.5 mags per co2 canister. Perhaps you'd get more if you got higher quality co2 as I'm using cheap 12 gram crosman canisters. You might be able to buy some real wood or metal grips to replace the plastic ones since this is supposed to be a exact replica.

"Hey I bought this months ago and it had stopped firing like a lot of them but I learned that IT is the firing lever that is faulty it snapped after a bit of plinking and it took a few months to figure out but you can order a real steel firing lever from the real gun and it works as new

"I'm writing this review 3 years after I received this as a present, it was my first real gbb sidearm and initially there were problems with the internals as the orange tip interfered with the cycling mechanism and I had to spend hours figuring out what the problem was, because there is little on the internet about this gun besides its reviews. after not shooting it for months it kicked the bucket and wont cycle and the bolt gets jammed and dislodged after one shot, I've stripped it many times to diagnose the actual problem but I cant find anything remotely wrong besides a white rubber tubing sticking out from the bolt, it just doesn't work anymore. But there's no denying that its a cool looking sidearm and everyone wants to hold it at events, and it was a blast while it worked

-sounds and feels like the real steel
-fairly accurate, stays true to the advertised fps
-mags are relatively cheap and consistent
-a spectacle on the field and looks cool even when the gun is weathered

Cons:
-may or may not need maintenance out of the box
-no upgrade potential that I was ever aware of
-sling mount on the back fell off
-It most likely wont last forever before something in it malfunctions
-engineering of the internals is pretty complicated

"Got this for my brother, after about 6 moths of owning the slide became entirely separated from the rest of the action. On top of that I can't find parts anywhere.

"I think this is just a me problem but mine doesnt work. I didnt have CO2 carts for the first 2 weeks following its arrival. When I finally purchase them and load them into the gun, nothing happens. Ive tried everything but my gun doesnt shoot. Very disappointed in this product

"For the record i am in the process of returning this gun. Fired one bb and jammed. Worst luck ever with this gun. I have had many qualified airsoft gunsmiths try to see what is wrong and none could come up with how to fix, poor design and quality comtrol. Perhaps i got a lemon, but the reviews elsewhere seem to jive with what heppend with mine. The trigger amd slide are the main issues, and just a very poor attempt at recreating such an iconic weapon. For positive, thing looks beautiful. Great weight and feel, but for 100 bucks its too much for wall art since its useless to fire. I dont have any other positives however, never got to use it. Had it for three days and fired once and failed. I am sure evike will help with the exchange but i want nothing to do with this pistol. I will continue to wait for a quality piece from someone else.
