"I knew the second that I saw this gun, it would be mine. I fell in love with the looks and decided that thia was going to be my next pistol purchase, and it was.
EXTERNALS:
Very solid quality plastic on the frame. Very lightweight frame and yet very sturdy. The trigger itself though feels to be too light weight of plastic and almost feels as if it will be the first part to break (although mine hasn't broken yet). It seems to wobble more side to side than it does back and forth, and i do love that it has the 2 piece or jointed trigger. As for the barrel it is a beautiful gold color that seems to be holding up a lot better than i would have expected it to. Same goes for the slide. One issue i have though on thw slide is the sights. The fiber optic used seems too dark or even unresponsive to light. The sights themselves appear to be heavily worn and are almost a gray color. The coloring looks very faded and worn and even has some dents and dings which i find unusual for a brand new gun but they don't really change the performance of the gun.
INTERNALS:
They seem to be very heavy duty and i do not believe there will be any major issues as of right now. I believe it uses the same internals as the standard vfc m&p9 but i could be wrong on that. The one issue I have with the internals right out of the box is the "lube" used. I use the term lube loosely on that because it is extremely thick and sticky. You would be better off using honey than the stuff that comes in it. This "lube" keeps the slide from fully cycling so it won't even pick up another bb. It won't allow the slide to cycle all the way so it won't lock back on the last shot. Have you ever touched something that soda was spilled on the day before and allowed to dry up? That is exactly what this lube feels like! It is absolutely appalling! Another issue with this "lube that comes in the box is that it is black in color and loves to get all over your beautiful gold barrel making it look filthy. And it will continue to do this until you clean it out and put propper lubrication in. So for $180 you get to tear your brand new gun apart including the trigger assembly, barrel and slide assembly, nozzle, etc. Everything must come apart to clean it out. But once you do this work then you will understand the $180 pricetag.
PERDORMANCE (once cleaned):
Cycles great, feeds great, shoots very accurately with .25's (which i personally recommend for pistols). I was not able to chrono or test it at longer range but i believe the fps advertised is correct. Once you clean it the performance you get will be worth every penny you pay.
OVERALL:
Honestly apart from the horrible "lube" that comes in it, this gun is amazing. Worth every penny. I rate this 4/5. If you're you're wanting an out of the box, uncleaned and unmodified review i would give it 2/5. But after you clean it, this gun easily achieves 5/5. As much as i want to give this gun a perfect score, because of this out of the box "lube" being horrible and ruining the performance of thw gun i'm left with 4/5 overall. I hope that they change this in the near future but for now we're stuck with it (literally because the lube feels like a glue)

"Pros:
Looks Cool
Comes with different grips and backstraps, I use the largest one my hand fits perfectly
Trigger has a decent feel to it
Cons:
Bad lube job from company
Slide is sticky cause of the thick weird lube, it doesn't go back all the time
Sights don't really glow (at least not like my Salient Arms 2011)
Feels a bit cheap compared to the newer 2011 from SA
The extra magazine I paid for doesn't feed right
Hard to take apart, my slide doesn't want to detach from the frame
No directions
It's a decent addition to my pistol collection, shoots way more precise than my BB gun version (which has a horrible trigger). I'm gonna take it apart and clean it and see if I can get it to shoot better and cycle correctly . I like my SA 2011 a million times more though.
