"The Box mag fits VERY snug in the bracket on the gun, there is no wobble of the mag on my Matrix MK46 (M249). The pressure switch has plenty of cord for you to put it on the pistol grip, or hand guard. The plastic is DEFIANTLY a better quality than the stock mag, it is high strength polymer, much more reliable. My problem is the BS proprietary battery, and hidden/small as can be filling port for BBs. Mag seems to keep up with my SMPed M249, So in all, its a win i guess?

"Battery capacity left a lot to be desired and the feeding was a little inconsistent, Evike was great in processing the return and I've decided to upgrade to the MAG one. The battery is rechargeable but you can't buy replacements for it, so depending on the capacity of your battery you'll most likely want to be able to charge it mid-day. Mine only lasted 30 minutes or so though, so I'm not sure how long the battery lasts on a normal one.

"Ok for the money. First one started smoking when i put it on auto. Evike replaced it. They always take care of any problems i have. 2nd one works great. Just use the pressure switch. Only the pressure switch. Not auto. Not sound. Lots of reviews that these dont last long. Well see how long mine does and ill try to replace internals when it does. Battery is a rechargable battery pack. Buy another from a battery store or dont expect it to last all day. Buy it but dont expect too much from it. Only use the pressure switch!

"overall a great mag at a great price. No immediate issues with feeding and I like the remote switch. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit securely fit in the classic army and easily pops out. It looks like it fits know work into A&K so if you have one of those, this is a great option. If you have a classic army, look elsewhere or know that you will have to modify it.

"Ok so i took a chance on this because I'm a fairly small guy running a bfg and the 100 rd mag makes me much more maneuverable and goves me greater stamina on the field. Got the box mag, charged it up, and tested it out. The thing fed great, sound control was great, and i was so much faster around corners than i am with the stock 2500 rd box mag. Then I took it out to the field for an afternoon of airsofting. By the second game i was getting numerous misfeeds. I played with the feed tube to ensure i hadnt kinked it at all but still the same. Once i got home i played more and it fed awesome. This was yesterday. Today i took it out again to resight and readjust the hopup after cleaning the barrel and i have found the problem. As suggested by other reviewers on the different color mags, the sound control had rapidly gone to the crapper. Of course during the game i hadnt had the pressure switch on my person so diagnosing in the field wouldve yielded the same result. I have had this mag for a week and less than 2000 rounds until the mic stopped working.

Pros:
Much lighter than original
Makes the m249 much easier to wield
Way better looking than original
Feeds great when wound

Cons:
Sound control doesnt work as well as even the original
Extremely small fill hole

In summary; use the pressure switch and dont rely on the sound control and you should be fine. Honestly i do feel its superior to the stock mag.

"Looks to be a good and better option than the standard box mag. Overall good construction but mine came with EU/Asia 220Vac wall charger...:( So I ordered a set of Tamiya connectors and a set of JST small connectors to build a charging cable to connect to a smart charger.

"The included battery is too weak to effectively wind the magazine, it can't keep up with my completely stock A&K spec gearbox
Pretty disappointed it's immediately useless out of the box without tinkering

"Mine broke after the first use, the gears are cheap plastic and the box slides out of it's slot and can stretch the springs, I'd prefer a metal gear version with some sort of cable or cord tying the parts together.

"Lasted longer than the factory big green drum.

I picked up two of these and they have both broken. Probably had a total of 10000 bbs through them combined.

The internals are cheap plastic and it is a huge pain to disassemble the thing. Lots of loose wires, you will probably have to solder a few connections that close loose when you take it apart.

The biggest headache is no one makes replacement parts or upgrades for any of these things so once it breaks your stuck jury rigging stuff together from other parts. I had to use a feed gear from a old broken m4 high cap to fix one....

I'm going to save my money up and try a MAG 1500 drum and see if it is better quality.

"Broke within 20 minutes. Don’t waste your money on any A&K box mag!
