"If You Are Into The Sci-Fi Gun Style I Highly Recommend This Gun Its Strong I Have Put Mine Through Hell And Back It Has Great Internals And For This Price Its An Amazing deal

"Nice external construction. Polymer is very solid and well finished. Seams are hardly visible. Feels sturdy and has a good weight to it. I have the rubber foregrip variant and its stock also extends. Although, it doesn't have the shiny metal support as pictured. The entire flash hider is orange, not just the tip. But it's metal, so removing and painting is a possible option. The battery compartment is huge and fits my 7.4v 1800 lipo easily. Trigger response and ROF are good for an AEG in this price range. With a some hop added, the consistency and spread are good up to 100 feet with 0.2g ammo. Haven't fielded yet, but the only con I've find is that the xr-5 is picky about magazines. So far, only CYMA and DE brand M4 mags have worked for me, and those have to be installed carefully for full function. S&T mags will not lock in or feed. Looking forward to some gameplay with it!

"Just fired this outside at some cans, I love it, 10/10 fires great. The weight feels balanced evenly, though the two things, it doesn't take "any" m4/m16 magazine. I tried one a couple of different ones and they didn't fit, maybe it was me doing the wrong way or I didn't read something I don't know. The semi auto for me I have to keep scrolling the mag wheel so that it can keep feeding. However fully automatic fires like a dream, no spaces during the fire, even uploaded a video of it haha. But all n all I love it, if you want a gun around a hundred bucks then this is your gun! Oh and the battery compartment is snug and clever as well!

"I ordered this gun probably a week ago and it arrived on time. My initial impression of it was that it was going to feel cheap. Boy was I wrong! This gun feels well balanced and ready to go right out of the box. You can barely tell that it is mold injected since they seemed to have used high quality materials and polished most of it.
The design of the gun is something to behold. It's nice to finally own something that (like they stated) isn't another M4 or M16. The internals come as orange plastic gears but as its a V2 gearbox, that is easily replaced. The tip on the end seems to hold the barrel in place as you can unscrew it from the gun and pull it out. I hope they come out with more accessories for this gun as it has already turned many heads with friends, family and other players.
The Pros & Cons:
Pro:
-It has heft. As I said before, it is well balanced and isn't top heavy like many guns I have used before.
-The magazine is aesthetically pleasing as it makes the gun look complete. An extra Mag would have been nice but not needed since it's compatible with M4 mags.
-The gearbox and motor were tight and solid when I opened it up. I didn't need to tweak anything before loading it up to test it out.
-It is incredibly accurate. I was shooting some targets from around 20 meters away and didn't miss a single shot. I might be lucky though, who knows.
Con:
-Sad to say but the tactical railing on this gun is kind of lacking in some places. The railing in the front is what holds the battery compartment in place, so if you use a foregrip, you might drop the battery out at random.
-The stock is a little weird. The circle on the front of the stock is used for adjustment. So at first, its a little confusing to change, especially under fire.
-Magazine only holds 200 BBs. Now, that wouldn't be too bad but I hope they release more types of magazines that would fit this guns theme but also offer auto feed or a larger capacity.
All in all, this gun has a solid build to it and doesn't feel cheap like it probably looks. After playing around with it for a bit, you'll get used to it and it will seem like second nature. I heavily recommend this gun to anyone of any skill set. If you are a beginner, this is an amazing and cheap gun to start out with. Or if you are a seasoned veteran looking to add another piece to the collection. You should grab one because I will certainly be ordering another 3 or 4 of them.

"This thing is rock solid. For a gun made of almost all polymer I was surprised by the lack of wobble and creaking. Also it's got quite a bit of heft for polymer gun. Weighs as much if not a little more than my DMR. Haven't gotten around to shooting it yet unfortunately but I will edit my review after I check the performance.

"I just got this in the mail today, and let me tell you, for a $109.00 gun, I am VERY impressed with the quality. I expected it to be cheap plastic, but it is a solid heavy composite. It weigs in around 8lbs, and feels great. Shoots great, and consistent.

"This is a great gun for the price. Mine seems built solid. Its light, has plenty of rail space, nice fps. Cant really say anything bad. I hope in the future Evike might stock the other two colors so i can purchase another.

"I got this as a gift but I love it. Stock is a little wobbly but still holds. The flash hider screws off but you can’t mount a suppressor or a tracer unless you take off the front little bit.
Pros:
Cheap
Cool Design
M4 style controls
Cons:
Heavy
Stocks wobbly
Can’t mount suppressor easy

"Probably one of my fav airsoft guns to date honestly, while still having a few down sides to it.
Most the exterior is a well made plastic material, it's pretty easy to take apart to clean and the barrel removes with ease, but is super sturdy during gameplay.
Its surprisingly really heavy compaired to the rest of my airsoft. You will get fatigued holding it for long periods of time.
It can take standard m4 mags but takes just a tiny bit of force to get it to click all the way. But it doesnt get stuck or jam at all.
Now for the downsides:
The bottom rail is completely for show, do not stick a grip or anything on it, cause that rail will get stuck and be impossible to remove, it's also meant for the battery compartment so it slides off extremly easily if you put anything on it. It also has screw holes on the rail but none for the gun itself.
The magazine is hard to come by online, and surprisingly has a harder time clicking into the magwell than the default m4 mags.
The stock itself is a really nice stock, but the connector buffer tube is extremly flimsy and feels like it could break off at any moment, even after just taking it out of the box.
The grip is just a bit too big, even for me as I have pretty large hands, it gets uncomfortable after awhile.
In general those downsides dont really effect gameplay much other than having to make sure your mag clicks all the way so it doesnt fall out mid fight.

"This gun is beautiful. It looks and feels amazing, but its performance isn't the best. I bought the OD, and it matches my woodland camo which is pretty nice. Now for the pros and cons:
Externals:
pros
-Beautiful
-ergonomic
-hefty
-just look at it
Meh's
-polymer rails
-a riser would be helpful
-thin
-very polymer
cons
- the magazine retention system is crap
- the motor grip is uncomfortable if you don't have gloves
- the picatinny slider slides easily if you have something on it
- bb's enter the battery compartment and top grate thing and rattle around
This is a very aesthetically pleasing gun
Internals:
Pros
- metal shell/gears gearbox
- decent range
Meh's
- hopup is ok
- jams occasionally
- some screws were not tightened fully
Cons
- The magazine didn't feed until I loosened a screw at the bottom (easy fix)
- polymer bearings
- read more reviews
Overall, I really like this gun and will probably upgrade it soon, and it has mostly m4 internals. A 7.4v lipo is a great battery for it, though you can use any battery available (even stick NiMH's!). It doesn't come with sling mounts, which sucks because it's a pretty hefty rifle. This gun is better for CQC or mid-range scenarios, but it is definitely an upgrade from my shotgun in the woods. I was thoroughly impressed by this gun, and I have no regerts.

"Gun looks AMAZING and feels AWESOME
It's heavy, weighty, and balanced well enough that it really has a nice heft to it.
It's also sleek and looks exactly why you would want this gun.
For the price, it shoots well, straight enough and fast enough.
But the gun jams very easily with the included mag.
I wish there was a recommended replacement magazine that is guaranteed to work.

"Well let me say first off that the rifle works well and the range is excellent. The exterior is polymer but it is so sturdy that breaking it would be very diffucult. The only issue I have with this "futuristic m4" is that it can't hold any high cap mags. I have tested all kinds of m4 high cap mags, but it seems that they will not clip in and a mid cap or lower is required.
Pros
.Very sleek
.compatible with many m4 mags
.Efficent fps
Cons
.No high cap compatability
.iron sights block view of target
I would consider getting a cheap $10 red dot for this gun, and get the $5 m4 mags that are on here.

"This is a very well made rifle, it has internal metal parts, and a strong plastic exterior.
Pros:
-4 rails on top, bottom, left, and right
-Good fire rate
-detachable Iron sight
-comfortable grip
-easy eject mag
-easy battery placement
-adjustable stock
Cons:
-Bad iron sights
-Mag wind is hard to turn
-m4 mags that I have tested do not fit the gun
Overall the gun is worth the money, I chose the white version so I am not sure what the grey one looks like in real life. However, the performance is definitely up to par. I would suggest to get some other gear to fix the cons.

"this is a very nice set up for the price point the molding is thick and solid and still has the weight comparable to a real gun. it is every accurate although i don't have a chrono to test fps and the rate of fire is very nice. it has a very smooth trigger pull and is very comfortable to wield.
_
that being said there are some areas that leave room for improvements the grip is a bit bulky even for my giant hands so it would be nice if there were like removable back plates and what not to customize the grip to your preference.
there was also no unjamming rod included which brings me to the most prominent issue seems to be with the stock magazine, in full auto mode it seems prone to having a jam not too much but at least 2 per mag load mostly when the magazine gets lower on the bb's it will jam in the funnel just before the breech pushing up on the magazine seems to help and adjusting the hop-up helped a little but others that have had similar problems say they have the best luck with metal hi-caps.
were it not for the jamming i would have easily given this gun 6stars if i could =D
