"Used this rifle at a couple of airsoft operations at the local field as well as some practice skirmishes.

The rifle has held up against abuse of being dropped, drug around, beaten against walls and trees. In the hands of a service member. After all of that, the finish is minimally worn, only at the mag well. There is no rattle of parts loosening and everything was tight to begin with. Iron sights have stayed at my zero and work as intended to the real steal version.

The rifle hits hard. I have not chrono'd it properly but believe it hits at the 410+ fps mark. I have drawn blood at 100ft approximate distance with the rifle, hitting center mass. The rifle also fires true, not needing much adjustment to the hop up to fire accurately at distance

The rifle also gets a lot of looks at the field as most everyone Carries tactical style m4's and ak's.

"This rifle is pretty good. I like guns from certain eras of war and this gun is made to look very similar to the real steel. This gun has a decent ROF and a nice sound. Its decently price for what you get. Overall very pleased with my purchase.

"WOW! I'm thoroughly surprised at how well this rifle performs:

. Its dead-on accurate straight out of the box,
. the High Capacity magazine is nice and feeds well but i wouldn't really recommend using it
. The rifle has a really nice weight
. Decent ROF
. very, very close to a real steel m16a1
. Very durable for pricetag

The only issues i have with this rifle is the mock bolt, this is because when I disassembled the rifle the first time, where the bolt and its spring connect, well it snapped. It's not that big of a deal though and if i knew what i was doing it would be an easy fix, and it is very picky with what magazines it will take.

I over all really love this rifle and recommend it to anyone who is remotely interested, just be careful with disassembly and cleaning/maintenance .

"This rifle is doing pretty good for me, so far. I love the feel and the finish of the metal, but the plastic has a strange texture. It doesn't bother me very much though. It has fairly good accuracy as well. I love the sights on the rifle as well, and the close range sight is outstanding. I am very satisfied with the rifle, and I give it five stars. I highly recommend it!

"I am very pleased with this gun and I can say that this is a great bang for your buck airsoft gun yes even better then gen 2 lancer tacticals , the performance is very solid and streamline and the only gripes I have with it are the cringy bamf logo and writing on the gun and the cheapish polymer triangular hand guard. The mock bolt catch also didn’t work on my model but other then that the performance was second to none and very durable and accurate.

"This gun completed my Vietnam kit and it shoots really accurate but my only problem with the gun is that when shooting in semi it will lock up but all you have to do is switch to full auto and hold the trigger for a bit to fix it and another issue is at times the gun will shoot out two bbs but other than these issues I really love the gun.

"This is a darn good budget gun. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a Vietnam, old school SWAT, or elite 20th century mercenary loadout that can't get the Classic Army one. Everything about the gun works well enough, but could just be better. It comes with a cruddy high cap magazine which I pretty much ignore. The MAG brand Vietnam magazines work absolutely perfectly in it though. It comes with a triangle sight adjustment tool, and my Barska carry handle scope fits perfectly. The handguard is cheap, but doesn't feel like it will break easily fortunately. The gun is sadly not as accurate as I had hoped, so I bought a Prometheus 6.03 barrel and soft purple bucking, so we will see how that works out. The only things REALLY wrong are the A2 flash hider and stock. Yes, that is an A2 flash hider it comes with, and I measured the stock. It is an A2 stock, so that should settle the debate of if it is A1 or A2. The battery compartment is very large, so that's really nice to a point. It actually a bit too large and my batteries flop around in it, which is a bit bothersome.

All in all, other than the A2 parts, this is a very nice beginners or budget gun, but you do get what you pay for. Don't expect this to automatically be a super tac driver out of the box. It is reliable, durable, and quite fun, but could just be better.

"Got this not too long ago. But the only thing I hate about this gun is the handguard that feels like you can crush it if you squeeze it hard enough (like really cheap thin plastic) other wise great gun.

"!!! IMPRESSIONISTS BEWARE !!!

I knew from the get-go that this isn't a true A1. Just an A2 with A1 handles. Maybe not quite the best option for a true-to-form historical event. But for 150 bucks, it looks close enough for your historical kits at a milsim or pickup game where most people don't care.

My issue, is there's GIGANTIC engravings on the lower reciever that is a VERY OBVIOUS SKULL AND CROSSBONES on one side, with the STAY BACK 100 FEET in Arabic on the other. They are impossible to miss, even from afar, and make it look nothing close to historical. It's as if I put an M16A1 upper on a modern Afghan M4. I would have been fine with just a big blocky CYMA logo, or even nothing at all. But these look absolutely hideous on an M16A1.

At the very very very least, CYMA absolutely knocked it out of the park with the internals. The price to performance ratio of this rifle is very reminiscent of their stamped steel AKs. Trigger response on a 7.4 lipo is perfectly snappy, and the RPS is respectable for a stock budget gun. Was very pleasantly surprised.

"Not worth the ten dollars I saved buying it over the EMG.
Broke the first time I took it out to the field.
