"I received one of these from a $99 Mystery Open box deal. So far it's been great. Very sturdy and fairly accurate. I plan to add some mods to this gun in the near future.

Be aware that it does not have a 363mm inner barrel, it has a 407mm inner barrel, so take that into account if you replace the barrel.

Overall it's a great gun, and I couldn't be happier considering I received it at a huge discount.

Got it for $139 right before Xmas. Great gun right out of the box. It was chronoed at around 450 . It may take awhile to get it down. May have to go to .25 or a little heavier.

All in all a nice purchase right out of the box. It will be a good project gun to build on.

"I’ve had the gun for a while now and it’s being reliable.
It came out right out of the box around 400 fps and then went up to 420.
And then came down to 390-410 fps and consistently remained in that range.
But overall, the gun didn’t fail me, tho i run into few issues but could be user error. However, the main issue that most CYMA M4 normally get is that the stock wobbles a lot and the buffer tube sometimes gets loose.
I am trying to make this into an SPR or DMR, and since it’s upgradable it shouldn’t be a problem for those who wants to start on a budget gun and looking into transitioning it to a SPR or DMR.

"Ordered this on August 6th from the epic deals page for $139 (13'' rail). CYMA is one of the longest quality brands that has been around for a very long time. I have never had an issue with any of there aegs from 15 years ago or today. First off, this aeg is worth the original $195 price point. The build quality feels just as good as my G&P aegs. The stock has a little wobble which is normal since it is collapsible. The magazine is a winding hi cap, its good, not great, doesn't feed sometimes but not a big deal, just run mid caps or get an electric drum mag like I am. The trigger response is very good and the ROF is actually pretty good on a 9.6. The hop up is great, and even without adjustment, this rifle sends .28 elite force bbs like laser beams.
I bought this rifle to enjoy and run it until it breaks, and upgrade it so it is a Frankenstein/ Sleeper. In the meantime, the simple upgrade I am adding is a GATE WARFET. Check out youtube on how this works by soldering it to the trigger contacts, or just simple plug and play (hardwiring is the optimal performance choice). I have all my other internal parts sitting in a box for down the road when this decides to fail.
Absolutely recommend for a beginner to experienced player/milsim enthusiast. Like I said, CYMA is an absolute quality/inexpensive brand that is a workhorse. Great internally stock as well as a great platform to improve the internals to the build you want.

Pros:
Amazing FPS right out of the box.
Easily removable flip up sights
Really sturdy gun after i chaecked all the screws (with Allen key included)

Cons:
Buffer tube was kinda loose but i put some electrical tape on it and it did the trick.
I bought 2 just really generic M4 mags and they are kinda wobbly, if put a piece of electrical tape on the side of the mag it should do the trick

Thats about it. For mine i put a Swiss arms 1.5-5 X 40 on mine and i put and RHop in whick makes it shoot beautifully like a DMR. If you like to pick people off from 75+ feet, this is your gun!

"This is a great gun if you take the time to tune it properly, and modify it.

With an r-hop this makes a great long range (DMR) rifle. I installed one myself and I can consistently hit a barrel at 80 yards.

It comes with a 409mm brass inner barrel. (The description says otherwise)

Pros:

Oks:
Out of the box it shot ok (but with tuning it is good, with a flat hop or rhop it is amazing)

Not all mags fed well. (Mag it comes with is flawless. Emg highcap worked great, ics highcap didn’t work, elite force midcaps have feeding issues. For each of these I was using .32 EMG bbs. The midcaps may do better with lighter bbs.)

Cons:
As others have mentioned the mag release is really sensitive. (I removed the left one and cut off the paddle on the right side). On the right side the mag release has a huge paddle that I kept hitting on accident when my index finger was not on the trigger.

"Got this gun for Christmas and I LOVE it. I recommend this gun to anyone that likes than nice heavyweight realistic feel. Out of the box, it has pretty good accuracy (1 foot spread at 150 feet ) and everything works perfectly.

To answer some questions

Both flip-up sights are adjustable and removable
The threading is counterclockwise (CCW)
Charging handle does work but does not come back as far as the real thing
If you want a good fit use butterfly type batteries
Even if you do not like the stats this is a perfect gun for full metal parts
YOU WILL LOVE IT

"Had this gun for about 2 years now, and it still holds up just like the day i got it. Its light, its extremely accurate, it never has problems dumping rounds on semi, and it feeds great. Only slight problems was the ambi mag release had to be removed because i found it got bumped accidentally a lot, and the buffer tube is a little loose, which some thread lock could easily fix if you wanted it permanent. Overall, extremely solid gun, and very easy to maintenance. The body pin by the mag well is locked in, so you can never lose it, and it accepts all mil-spec parts.

Pros: light
very quick on semi auto
extremely accurate. Once hop is adjusted, shots always fall in the exact same spot.
very easy to change springs out
accepts mil-spec parts
very easy to customise.

Cons: Ambi mag release gets bumped a lot (could be a pro for you to have, totally preference)
Fire selector gets VERY EASILY knocked into full auto, which is a problem for me because my field is only semi auto. So be very careful, or even get a new selector.

"I bought this for my first every airsoft AEG and was NOT disappointed. It is a very solid AEG and is very reliable.

Pros
-Full Metal
-Great range with .25 BBs
-Full auto works like a dream
-Pretty good trigger response for the price
-Shoots overall very well
-Affordable
-Durable
-Looks amazing
-Good Battery storage (I would buy a Small Butterfly 1600Mah battery - The storage compartment is in the BACK of the stock)

Cons
-Stock was a little rattly but was an easy fix
-Fire selector is a little flimsy when set to semi (will slip onto auto sometimes, not really a big deal)
-When the battery is low, the trigger when on semi-auto will sometimes jam, this can be good to know that you need to charge it but it can be annoying on the field.

Over all, this is a GREAT starter gun, just buy a $50 smart charger battery combo, some .25BBs, and go and play!
